I actually borrowed the HP books from my sister-in-law after reading the TL Saga. Someone had told me once that she had read the entire HP series like 8 times and I couldn't imagine wanting to read something repeatedly that way…. Until I got my hands on TL! I did like HP, though I must say I've only read it once – no desire to re-read. I will probably re-read The Deathly Hallows before part one comes out.

They picked June 30th because it is the start of the huge July 4th, American Independence Day weekend. Yes, that weekend starts on Wednesday and goes through Sunday–movies that get that weekend are expected to do huge box office. Most people are off work, school is out for the summer; everbody is in a celebrating mood.
The fact that there is an eclipse around that time is certainly an added bonus.

Summit is quite ballsy to release this film on July 4th weekend. It won't surprise me when Eclipse takes the top spot but this weekend is blockbuster weekend.

They might not want to change writers because of money. I read in the Variety article that Summit wants to rush the contracts because the longer they wait, the more money people will ask for.
A new writer may ask for more cash, ya know? MR's probably the cheapest main crew member on payroll right now, as writers tend to be.
Even if she was working for nothing but her expenses, it's still too much! Hopefully the director and the cast will be able to rewrite the worst of her horrible dialogue before they film.

I had my doubts about CW at first but they were all proved groundless so I'd like to trust DS and he's a really great photographer and so keen to communicate what's going on, so that says there's more to him than blood and guts. And there is some violence so maybe he'll do Eclipse justice.
The issue with MR is that she's proved herself incompetent over half the saga so far so it's perfectly fair to attack her writing.

Lol team swirl- a group of Taylor's fans who has released their fangirl within. Aka we noticed that taylor's hair has this swirl going on. 1 day we( some wolf girls) were on twitter & 1 mentioned it. Which led this discussion about his swirl + cake batter ice cream & him in the middle & the rest is history.

Have you gotten the latest issue of EW? It's a tribute issue to all the celebrities that have died this year. I thought it was supposed to be the Team Edward, Bella, or Jacob covers?
Am I missing something here because I don't want to buy them from the newsstands. Is EW backing off all the Twilight coverage or what?
If you do have it or when you get it, look at the table of contents where they list the photo credits for the cover. It says Team trinity photographed exclusively for EW on such and such day.
So my point is did they send me the wrong issue? I don't like that, I might call them to complain.
You know, I've been fuming about this for days…Yes, I did get the magazine with the tributes cover and i am certainly NOT happy about it.
Apparently the subscribers get the tribute cover and if you want a New Moon cover you have to go out and find it and buy it…can you believe that?
This happened to be before, last year right after Twilight came out–there were two covers, one with Rob and one with Meryl Streep–the subscribers got Meryl–lovely lady, but certainly NO Rob!
I couldn't believe it when it happened again this year–apparently they don't care about their subscribers at all or they would either give us a choice or maybe give us a bonus of the covers only. I'm not sure what can be done about it. I suppose they want us to purchase additional magazines, if we could find them. (I think the Taylor and Rob covers will be hard to find)
Well that just pisses me off. I would think long-time subscribers like us would get a choice in which issues we receive. I'm going to have a hard time finding those Twi covers at any store because it seems half the places here don't even carry EW. Fan-****tastic.
