I've never understood that whole mentality of screeching at someone or even chasing after them like you say. I would probably be so scared, I wouldn't be able to say anything. LOL

Unlike *ahem* Brazil.

Two of the things I'm worried about New Moon is... the acting and the story.
I'm all good about how it looks. I mean the werewolves, the Volturi, the scenery; everything looks great.

Now I'm just anxious about how the story's gonna play out. Will it have a fast pace... or go excruciatingly slow? Will it actually proceed with a love triangle... when it wasn't really portrayed in the book like that? Will Chris delve MUCH MORE into Jacob and Bella's relationship, bordering on the "almost-kiss"?

And most importantly, I'm so nervous on how the cast acts out the characters. I haven't seen the break-up scene yet... so if Rob and Kristen did a good job with that and you still find me sending comments about how worried I am, please consider the fact that I haven't seen it. And I just don't want it to be like the acting in Twilight and realize that they are not very good actors after all. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm still trying my hardest to be optimistic... I'm just getting really worried. Anyway, it's November 1. So I think my ramblings are expected nonetheless.

You know, I'm totally with you. Everybody is so excited, and I'm just really trying to manage my expectations. Because last year, prior to when they released Twilight, I had watched all the leaked scenes, and I thought this movie would be the BEST ever. and then I went to the movies.. and BAM, big disappointment.

What I'm saying is: They always release the best scenes on trailers etc. What makes a movie great is not 5 great scenes, but lots of great scenes that flow into each other and acting that pulls it all together and makes it believable.

I hope they can pull it off.

So I say: better be worried now and then be positively surprised at the movies!

i never thought of it that way. but though twilight was good, i was really disappointed. so now, i worry.

You want something ironic? I'm only on for a few moments now, cuz I woke up with the forkin' worst migraine I've had in months ... sound, light, everything just makes it worse... it must be an anxiety-induced migraine... LMAO
OK... laughing hurts too... off to a dark bedroom for me... ;)

It may just be my opinion.... but I do have an educated guess about this. I have watched EVERYTHING (I have no shame... or self-restraint for that matter) because I shared the same worry. However, after watching the beak-up scene and then yearning to watch it again and again (even though it was filmed from really far away and the visuals and sound quality of the boot-legged clip were crappy) I can say with more confidence that... um... well... I think they nailed it.

I'm very picky when it comes to these things and when it comes down to watching trailers, I never trust them. They always take the best parts of scenes and put them together to wow you. However, we've seen quite a bit now and we've also seen big chunks of scenes.... and I can honestly say that the ONLY thing that has bothered me (once again) is some of MR's "creative" script writing. I thought the acting was great... I really think Rob is taking this to a whole new level and Kristen, well, I have to see more of the movie (to see her during the depression) before the jury is out on her, but so far I am definetly satisfied.

Try not to worry too much Honey Bear! I think NM is going to be wonderful. I think you're going to love it!

As for me... I'm kind of more worried about Eclipse... actually very, VERY nervous about Eclipse. there's been too much talk about action and fighting and no where near enough talk about the romance....

I'm really happy that they're giving the Japanese fans a chance and all. And I'm glad that I see Rob smiling.

But I can't help but think that Summit is overworking this guy. (And Kristen and Taylor, too.)
The dude just got out from a 3-month-filming of Eclipse... then he had like, what? Less than 2 days of rest? Then he immediately starts the NM promotion...
Like NM needs more promotion! Jesus Fcking Christ, Summit. Do they care about the stars' health? Or maybe it's just their ego doing the work.

The only thing Summit sees is dollar signs when looking at those three. Rob and Kristen went from shooting NM, to Remember Me and The Runaways respectively and then jumped into Eclipse. When are they going to be given a break? I would be having a meltdown by now.

I DO APPRECIATE the old school ethics of a film, I´ve see Doctor Zhivago and I love it! I just have to thank you again and again for creating what I call a "movie" in all the meanings of the word movie, with every scene I had a glimpse of the old school and I love it and everyone will....thanks for being so humble too, and i think you top it very high and the directors that will come after you will have it very difficult to manage the action ( that is easy to get) but also the emotional part, the romantic side that with you as far as I have seen...you have fullfil all my expectations and more. alright Twilighters this is the deal, we want Chris Weitz to return to directing duties for Breaking Dawn correct, and even the producers admit reading the blogs so they know CW is the numero choice for the job, because I have loved every leaked scene they have given, this man just takes what is in the book and adds more flavor. So if CW returns to direct the final installement, we will see the Volturi and the Cullens rumbling. We want the final chapter to be epic and CW does epic like no other, so this is what you do, those who are going to the premiere, make banners, t-shirts anything with Chris Weitz for Breaking Dawn, think of it as an election, coarse if Eclipse turns out to be another masterpiece than we add Weitz/Slade for Breaking Dawn, since the rumors of being two films maybe true.

I really admire CW. He just seems like the perfect director for the Twilight Saga. He knows what we want and he'll do whatever it takes to deliver it. Plus, he has this calming air about him. I wasn't nervous about how he'll direct New Moon. I just trusted him.
