MTV has another great behind the scenes footage of New Moon.  Kristen Stewart compares herself to Bella and talks about Robert Pattinson. 

“I feel very much like I can’t really tell a huge difference between myself and Bella anymore, as odd as that sounds,” she admitted in an interview released by Summit Entertainment. “I’m used to playing really distinct characters that are so far away from my normal reality and in this case, the only thing that I was really worried about was just making sure it was absolutely honest and open and vulnerable and very present.”

On Robert Pattinson:

“We’re both pretty instinctual, impulsive actors,” Stewart explained. “We don’t really hash things over and over because we both know our characters fairly well. It was easy to step back into the project because it was something we [already] did. Once you play someone — it’s a strange thing — you don’t forget who they are. And we work together well, so it was easy.”

Also in the video, Robert Pattinson describes the birthday party scene in New Moon, and a behind the scenes look at his and Daniel Cudmore’s (aka Felix) fight scene.

    It's so FASCINATING to watch Kristen give an interview.
    For example, her hand movements and gestures when she's trying to explain something.
    She obviously is passionate about the series to explain such a complex answer from a simple question.
    And she has advanced vocabulary, that I kinda think that she brings a handy thesaurus with her at all times.

    I wasn't a Twilight fan last year, but I do remember it. I didn't really knock her much but I know loads of people who did. She had an interview yesterday where she commented about that.

    "I think I’ve gotten a lot more comfortable with talking about myself and knowing that, what you say, people are really going to take in to consideration. [In earlier interviews] I couldn’t finish a sentence because I didn't now how it was going to sound. I didn't want to sound insincere about something that meant so much to me," Stewart offered, referring to the Twilight franchise.

    I love seeing her grow and improve into who she is today. She is definitely going places.

    Rob and her both look very serious and show no BS in regards to answering the question. The forward eyebrows shows their intensity but I wonder what else are they thinking about? They must start to feel like broken records once they are having to reanswer similar questions for an entire year. Rob is always witty so you always wondering what he is going to say in his interviews. Btw I just love how they beelined it at the Mall tour in LA at the end of the vid.

    I almost saw KStew biting on her fingertips at the end of the interview. hehe In this interview for MTV, she answered it almost like I envisioned Bella to answer something. She probably really is BELLA.

    what's so awesome about rob is he really knows the character he plays. everytime he's asked about edward he gives us a glimpse of how he is deeply involved in the character's thoughts.

    i must say rob and kristen do complement each other intellectually. they both can give thoughtful, complex answers to intelligent questions thrown at them. and maybe perhaps that's one reason too that they give different answers even if asked the same question. they really think things through before answering.

    especially rob, even at a very young age, he is insightful in his answers and he even gives it a dose of his unique sense of humor. and the more people fall in love not only with his gorgeous looks, but more on his intelligence and wit. :))

    Chris Weitz is a freaking genius. I really hope this b.t.s. stuff is on the dvd. They better make it a 2-disc version, one of just the movie and one full of extras. Something extensive like the Pirates movies did. 2+ hours of bloopers and deleted scenes will be nice!

    Dude, Stephan goes after Damon at the end of the episode to kill him. I was like, can Damon kill Stephan, cuz this show would get SOOO much better. LOL

    He's still irritating. He finally admitted that he is in love with Elena. Are you kidding me? He has about as much chemistry with Elena as I do with my dog.

    Now what this show needs to do is totally undermine the cliche that the good guy gets the girl; the good guy deserves to win; the good guy should be the star. Elena should develop a relationship with Damon, become a vampire, start enjoying her life as a vampire, and kill that whiny little shell of Edward Cullen. No repercussions. No rules.

  • Well, Jacob sure as hale ain't the bad boy. EC's a cowering, insecure, melancholic lamb in lion's clothing. Jacob is absolutely better for Bella. Stephenie says that Bella is EC's drug but EC is just as much of a drug to Bella. He literally lets her do whatever the heck she wants. That's what a bad boy would do to a reckless girl like Bella.

    Yeah, it was torture making it through the first three episodes. But I put in the time because one, lack of True Blood and Twilight; and two, Damon and Jeremy intrigued me.

    So now, the Damon storyline is getting more screen time, thank goodness. Elena and Stefan irritate me. I hate when they come on screen. No chemistry AT ALL. I think Rob and Kristen have me spoiled on the chemistry front. hehe

    But love Damon. He makes the show to me.
