New Moon was amazing. It doesn't even fit in the same category as Twilight, and didn't even seem like a sequel. It stood on its own.

The acting was 100 times better, KStew was phenomenal.

Oh when B and E were running together in the Woods? lol. I did see that, I hated what Bella was wearing and I thought she was plain looking as a vampire, personally. But the frolicking part was cool if you're into cheesy....I wished she looked more like the HB vamp in the photoshoot with Rob. She had no sexy appeal. Don't smite me!

The acting was superb.

Robert blew me away like no one has ever before. KStew made me feel her pain and cry like a baby. And Taylor... wow. The boy knows how to act! I am glad they kept him. I love Chris so much more. I knew he wouldn't dissappoint.

I've been counting down since day 200. All day yesterday i was so... nervous for the premiere, but walking out of the theater last night at 2:30, i was calm.
The movie was brilliant. I don't think they could have worked anything else into the script, and seeing exactly how accurate this movie was, was rather stunning. Sure, somethings were modified for a better effect on non-fan audience, but you have to understand the movie cannot follow the book spot on if it's going to be decent. I felt like they did an amazing job of including all of the important scenes in order. It was just amazing. It lived up to my expectations and i felt like the trailers were good representations for the movie.

YES! it was the strangest feeling but I felt so calm leaving the theater! I thought I was going to have a major letdown feeling with all the anticipation and now the "first time" is over but I just cant wait to watch again!!!! It could not have been a better representation of the book! The acting was phenomenal!

Seeing the eclipse poster and RM trailer added unexpected bonuses to my night :)

I've heard some good reviews and some bad reviews but like i said earlier I'll be my own critic. Besides I'm pretty sure that we'll (twilight fans) will watch this movie over and over wether we love it or hate it because its part of our saga we can all agree on that even if we dont freaken love the movies we love the books so summitt will make a whole lot of money because of us.

1,000 times better than Twilight. Acting, cinematography, special effects - all epic WIN in my humble opinion.

Score not as memorable as Twilight, I'm surprised to say... MR is still my mortal enemy, as she did some things I'm not overly fond of... but what she gave them to work with, they WORKED!

But still... effing brilliant, visually stunning, LOVE me some Edward, Bella & Jake. CW was AWESOME. I'll stop there, don't want to spoil anything. ;)

I am like the walking dead right now. Loved the movie but the theater I went to got the movie started late then had a problem with the film and had to delay about 15 minutes, then they got it running and we sat throught a bunch of previews and I din't see "Remember Me" and then a movie started and it was NOT New Moon. So another 20 minutes or so later we got to sit through more previews, which this time did include Remember Me, we ended up getting out of the movie about an hour late.

Oh, how awful! I feel so badly for you. I know how you feel! The film had a problem in the theater I was in but they fixed the problem in about twenty minutes or so--the longest twenty minutes ever....

I definitely felt at ease after I saw it.. all the excitement I felt the day before was exhausting.. but after the movie.. it was almost like a relief to finally be able to see it. And I can't wait to watch it again tonight :-)

All the rewiews i've read said that the movie was really NOT worth watching!!! i haven't seen it yet, but i don't believe that it's that bad :o well the critics were all middle-aged men!!! (maybe not the right ones to make conclusions about this movie)

Do yourself a favor... don't read anyone's reviews on the site. It will bum you out. Some people have hated the movie. I don't understand. I felt like they fit in as much as they possibly could. I loved it. I hope you'll enjoy it.

The acting for this film, to me, was amazing! Kirsten was perfect! If you see her interviews, and then watch the film, she is really a complete other person. Her expression when she brings the bikes to Jake's the first time was great. She looks desperate and sad just like in the book.. I loved them all, such great emotions by everyone.

I still think that Twilight fans will love the movie, still go see it. It does have amazing moments and will bring you to tears. But just be prepared for WTF moments.

Omg. New Moon was beyond crap. The acting... was SO BAD. Kristen Stewart.. i love you but that was horrible. She definatly did not portray the emotion... during the breakup scene... omg. I didnt even feel sad ! Instead I laughed when: Bella: "IM COMING" Edward: "I DONT WANT YOU TO COME" ..... omg. i was laughing so hard. Could they not choose a better choice of words? LOLOLOL. anyways. Caius... you suck. the rest of the Volturi was good. and Victoria was prob the best too bad shes not in Eclipse. Oh, and the musical score did not go with any of the scenes at all. It did not flow very good..

I saw the break up scene online before and i agree i wasn't sad. Although, in the book i didn't cry until Edward came back and told her he loved her and everything.

I agree with you completely. I have never felt so disappointed in a movie before. I thought it was choppy and the acting reminded me of a high school play. The wolves were the only saving grace of the entire thing.

I took my daughter to the 12:01a showing this morning. I was very disappointed that our theater didn't show any previews. They just went straight into the movie. Everyone around us was confused if the movie was actually starting, or if it was a trailor we hadn't seen before. Once it got rolling things were better. I liked the movie for what it was, but there are definately no award winning moments. I appreciated the humor and the cast did a better job with the comedy than the drama. Taylor's performance was the standout one, as far as I'm concerned. The kid had a lot of scenes where he had to portray an emotion (or even conflicting emotions) with jus facial expressions. I think in the long run, he's the one to watch out for. I was impressed that they fit so much of the book in. I think they did a good job of leaving out the exact parts that really didn't move the story along. The special effects were ok, but I've seen disney movies that looked more realistic than the wolves. That was basically my only real let down of expectation. With all the money Twilight made, I was expecting a little more time and effort in the necessary CGI. The Volturi were cast very well. Dakota Fanning is a great little actress and her close ups were a little scarry. Just as they should be. I was impressed by the way they delt with Edward while he was gone. That CGI was done nicely, and gave almost an etherial feel. That's how I pictured it in my head while reading the book, and I was happy to see others apparently did to. If you have not seen the movie, and aren't a stuffy critic, I'd recommend it. Not all movies are supposed to make you think long and hard. Some are for the sheer pleasure of getting lost in a world that doesn't exist. To leave all your own real world worries behind and just enjoy a few hours of life. That's what I got from this movie. A well adapted, couple hours of completely letting go of life's real lunacy. I had fun with my daughter. That alone made it completely worth while. DS

However though I thought these actors have done an amazing job protraying their characters from the book as well . Including Dakota Fanning herself I was totally surprise she was in this particular movie too. I was wondering if I can ask her what was it like working with Robert Patterson while doing her character named Jane ?

This movie definitely did not disappoint. The fight scenes were amazing. I can't believe I have to wait unti June now for Eclipse...

OK just got home from seeing NEW MOON!! in one word AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! They really did a great job by staying true to the book! Thank You!!!! Yes there was some parts left out, but in all it was really done totally great... Now we all have to wait till June for Eclipse... May the count down begin.....

guys you might want to kill me, but I thought the film was 'just' ok!! I think they tried to cram too much of the book into it and as a result it was slightly 'bitty' for me. The wolves were great, as was Michael Sheen, but I have to say the other acting was weak - with one exception - Taylor who was excellent. I wish Kristen would speak clearer as she always mumbles which is very frustrating. I was also put off by the noise in the theatre...maybe when I get the DVD and can really get into it it will enjoy it more! Here's hoping......I really wanted to LOVE it, but juts thought it was 'ok'.....please don't kill me *smile*

Can't wait for Eclipse (it was my favorite book).
The only thing that could have made New Moon better was if we could get people to NOT bring kids, cell phones and their conversations into the theater FOR GODS SAKE leave ALL that stuff at home.
