Loved the bits of NM they showed in these interviews...when the showed Twilight right after though, I was struck again as to how amazing NM looks in comparison.

Kirsten's interviews fascinate me, she knows her character inside and out. She has really grown up and embraced the situation she is now in, I love it!

So did anyone else hear Rob say that he'd be working on another twilight film after the next 2 he has lined up? Yippy!!! BD is coming....I'm so excited!

Can't wait to see how the make a movie from BD!  :)  The CGI and everything is going to be Awesome!  :)

I didn't watch the interview out of fear of spoilers after the revelation Rob gave us in his interview the other night, but from what I have seen of Kristen, prior to my interview freak out, she just seems so connected to Bella now and just really proud and sure of herself lately.

i totally agree with you about how much better new moon looks and how much k-stew knows her character.. which i love.

the only thing i disagree about - everyone will probably bite my head off for saying this - but i dislike how new moon is so BROWN and BRONZE in colours. like the coclour scheme of the movie. and i understand that the brown suits the wolf pack and that is predominantly what the movie is about... but most of the movie (I know not all ) is based in Forks, like Twilight was and in the book SM describes how there is a constant cover of clouds and stuff and the main thing I loved about Twilight was that the movie has such a nice green and dull tinge to it - which is exactly how I pictured the book.
And I know SM doesn't describe the setting in New Moon as much as Twilight but I just don't like how the colour has changed from Green/Blue - cold colours - to Brown/Bronze - warm colours.

Again, I know wolves are warm and stuff but still... the area where they are living is cold.

No, I see that. I do agree to a point. I think they chose brown to get the warmth from the wolfpack across. The blue in Twilight was to exemplify cold, such as with the Cullens.

And I agree with you too, CJean, the blues in Twilight were SO dull. And I do think there is still going to be plenty of green in NM. It is much sharper. And I agree that Twilight looked cheaper because of the colors. I wasn't a fan.

For me, the colors are not so much brown...but the scenes are just full of color! In Twilight, everything looks so dull, white, and high contrast. In NM, the tone is richer, for me it looks sharper and more professional.

It is pretty crazy to see a side-by-side comparison of the look of the 2 movies. I didn't realize how much the... color.... of a movie can impact it so much. With Twilight, it was so blue. And New Moon is brown. I love it.

And I agree about Kristen. She's grown so much. (And she does seem to know Bella quite well)

I too am impressed with her poise. I like that she is willing to fight for what she thinks Bella would say or do. That's how we ended up with the extra movie scene and the dialogue re-write on the break up scene.
