Hey everyone, just popping on here to make replies and say Happy Turkey Day to those who celebrate it!!! :)

I'm thankful for my new husband, ;) his family and mine. Also for being healthy and happy and having good friends.

I'm thankful for all the Twilight books and movies, FF dot net for making my Edward Cullen obsession that much more crazy.

I'm thankful for you ladies here on nmm and em.org for sharing in my obsession of all things Twilight and Rob/Kristen. :)

I would like to share a quick story with you guys..

I was just chatting OL w/ my husband (he's in Japan), who by the way is really sick of my TL obsession and I try to avoid discussing it with him at all. Anyway, I'm trying to pretend to be fully interested in our little conversation while I'm secretly reading NMM.org and when I mentioned our dog 'Ella' I actually typed 'Bella' - Lol! He was like "Bella? Here we go again" I can't tell you how many times that poor girl gets called Bella - half the time my daughter has to correct
me. Maybe I should just rename her - it's close enough! lol

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all my NMM.org-ers in the US. And to all of you, let me say I am very thankful for you. Don't know how this Thanksgiving will go for me... my dad found out he has a cancerous mass in his throat. All this time I've been joking that I'm happy my husband is away so I can enjoy the NM hysteria in peace, and now I really do wish he were here to hold me.

I didn't even try to get anyone to go see it with me today. I was looking forward to seeing it alone and it was brilliant apart from the girl to my right who was giving her Twi-virgin friend all the background and the girl to my left and one row in front who was doing the same. Honestly, that's why I went alone. I would have bought them the books for Xmas and gone alone if I was those girls!

Two first year boys have hurt they are in hospital with serious injuries and a 19yearold guy has died and a teacher got a gun-shot wound.It was some kind of rampage.a 23year old boy freaked out..
it's so sad it was terrible and my sist was there at the uni during this tragic..:(

I hope you guys have fun doing whatever you do during Thanksgiving because I have no idea how you guys celebrate it.

Here's what some of us do :)

Get up at the crack of dawn to put the turkey in the oven, preparing ALL DAY LONG with the other things that go along with it - while watching the Macy's day parade on tv - anticipating the arrival of Santa at the end :).

Then 15 minutes to eat everything that took you the 12 + hours to prepare!

Then in between and after, lots of watching football on tv sitting on the couch trying not to fall asleep!

That's a very very busy day!

Not only that, but sometimes more than ONE meal in the same day! haha. We go down to my grandmother's on my dad's side of the family around noon and then have my mom's side of the family come to my parents' house for dinner at 5.

Talk about feeling sick! haha.

And omg, I was in my relatives' house and while I was watching TV and eating at the same time, I noticed they have the Vanity Fair issue of Rob!

I was so distracted... and mind you, I was staring at the cover the whole time... it was taunting. And I read his whole spread/interview during Thanksgiving:)

Little bit of an off-topic, but didn't know where to post :).
I FINALLY saw the movie last night, at this end the premiere was just now. I LOVE IT!!! I laughed, I cried my eyes out (oh, the break-up scene....well, both of them). To sum it up, the movie met indeed every expectation I had (well, except for some minor scenes and dialogues that just had everyone in the theater LOL without that being the purpose.../and then there's the rushing through a lot of scenes). But on the whole, on a scale of 1 to 10, it's a 9/9,5.
For me, Taylor Lautner absolutely KILLED it, to be honest I was not expecting him to be the perfect Jacob, but he was. He made me feel things and see Jacob in a way I never did while reading the book. Oh, and his eyes... they were just brilliant, it was all in the eyes, he portrayed every emotion he should have and then some. Brilliant Taylor!
Oh and KStew... she was amazing! For me, Bella's struggle and depression was vital for the movie, and she has done a wonderful job at getting those emotions across.
I'm not a wolfgirl at all, but I looooved the wolfpack so much, the acting was great, great humor, CGI wolves were so much better than I'd expected...
Special effects, CGI, cliff dives, fight sequences... everything very well done!
Chris Weitz you have done a brilliant job! You gave myself as a fan of the books everything I could have asked for and more. Thank you, CW!

well, i am extremely thrilled u were finally able to see the movie we have all seen more than once now! (well most) as a twilight fan i think we have all agreed on here New Moon is truly amazing & what u said about the actors including rob, billy, jane, Micheal,etc...everyone was fantastic! and they brought to life our movie we love so well! 215 DAYS UNTIL ECLIPSE!!!! (my fave!!!)

Right you are, I so loved Billy Burke, he aced it... And Rachelle. And Michael Sheen stole the show. Such a powerful and unbelievable presence it gave me goosebumps. I don't want to forget to mention anyone, but I also don't want to rant :), so just gonna say everyone did an outstanding job! Many thanks go out to everyone involved in the movie for doing the book justice (I actually liked the movie more than the book).
Eclipse is my fave too, gah, can't wait :) *waves 215 days until 'Eclipse' flag*

OH yes! I thought the movie did well for a book that many didn't enjoy the most out of the saga (it's a slow read but I enjoy it. Maybe bc i'm bias & it brings Jacob out) but anyways I thought it brought the book 2 scene very well! Oh 1 of the quotes that brings me 2 tears every time(I've seen it 3x now lol)
Bella: " I know I've been hurting you & it kills me"
Bella: "u promised"
Jacob: " I know. I promised I wouldn't hurt u Bella & this is me keeping that promise. Go home and don't come back or you might get hurt"
Yep...the eyes, the begging, the pleaing, the pain, the hurt,etc....just
Kills me.

Oh, the J/B break-up scene....*gets teary-eyed* if possible it killed me even more than E/B breaking up. And I was not expecting that. Not much of a team Jacob person to be honest, but Taylor... oh wow Taylor... he just makes you see Jacob in such a different way, more intense way, at least for me, than the book ever did.
I can't quote out of the movie (don't remember too literally), but when he just said 'Bella...' I just wanted to cry my heart out. And then in the final scene in the woods, when she says it's always been Edward... where he turns into a wolf and leaves... the sadness in that CGI wolf's eyes... gah! Oh Jacob... I felt for him so much. It broke my heart.
Can't wait to see the movie again...and again...and again.

Lol oh yeah! I think we all here agree seeing it more than once is a must! Everything seems less rushed & u take it all in. Even the scenes will convoy more emotions each time.

But on Jacob- yeah I've always been a Jacob girl so while reading I got/understood all the emotions Taylor brought for me. Also, while reading I obtain much more on jake's persona. Idk for me while reading him he just jumped out at me as a loyal/passionate(I could go on) individual who was willing to be whatever bella needed him to be(although we know it's because he truly loves her). With that being said I just saw a character that fell in love with the same girl as Edward. And for him to be young & take on this new supernatural life 1 thing he never 2nd guessed or was unsure of was his devotion, loyality, trust, & love for Bella. & I have always found that to be amazing!
