Haha I was just singing the same song after I read this article. New Moon is amazing and I don't give a damn what critics say. Critics are lazy pieces of garbage who don't even have the decency to read the book to see how well new moon is gonna measure up to the book. I laugh at critics saying twilight was better b/c they are basing their whole argument solely based on the fact that edward isn't in new moon enough. Well that's not the movies fault. I would have killed chris weitz if he changed the story line. I don't like that edward leaves but it leaves room for a fantastic ending. Only thing I will agree on with critics is that taylor lautner is going to make jacob look better than he really was in the book. I think summit is really trying to fuel jacob vs. edward until breaking dawn of course so jacob is gonna become way more glorified in the movies. But, I'll get over it cuz I will still imagine the jacob i know from the book. The very tall tall jacob with muscles and a deep voice and a huge dick attitude. Taylor is gonna play a decent version of him, but all in all, the jacob in the book will be the real jacob and taylor lautner's version of jacob will be almost spot on but done in a way to make jacob look better. Taylor lautner is too nice of a kid to play jacob, but his nice attitude will work very well in breaking dawn when jacob finally becomes a normal person and is nice. I don't really care about jacob though cuz all i will be waiting in the movie is for edward and bella to be re-united cuz thats what makes new moon awesome.

yes im a twi-guy. And its cool if ur team jacob. Everyone sees a character in their mind differently. I hate this whole bickering between teams though even though i have gotten into quite heated debates over jacob and edward. In the end, every character gets a happy ending so i don't know why we have teams since we know what happens. And i wasn't hating on taylor. I think taylor lautner is a nice kid and his acting will continue to get better and better and out of the big three for this movie, taylor is the one that understands the books the best. Whenever, he answers an interview question, he answers correctly based on his knowledge of the book. Rob and kristen tend to way over-analyze the book and sometimes they really gives bad answers to interview questions. Anyways, i just think taylor is way way too nice to play jacob. I think he is gonna make jacob look like a totally different character from the book. I might have more moments where i like jacob b/c of him haha but I have too much love for edward to ever switch sides to jacob. There are just too many bad moments in new moon and eclipse where jacob is just way too mean for me. But obviously everyone looks at the characters differently and since your team jacob, you probably amplify edward's flaws and as a team edward fan, i tend to focus on jacob's flaws more than i focus on his strengths. Only thing i will say that annoys me about this debate is saying that jacob is the best friend. Edward is a best friend too. If your in a relationship with someone, they are also your best friend. But, come on, who really cares about this team crap in the end. We fans shouldn't be fighting against each other...we should just fight with non-fans and critics of this wonderful franchise. Because of us, we are gonna make history with the twilight saga. I hope u love the movie.

but yeah i'm sure they all have a long way to go as actors but i think the movie won't disappoint, i mean i know it won't be exactly like the book or better than it b/c that would be impossible..which is why i'm glad i haven't been re-reading NM again b/c i would be comparing the movie to it the whole time.

Guys, i watched NEW MOON last night....IT IS AWESOME!!!!!! Bella and Jacob's relationship....so cool! Rob sparkling skin...great! the Wolf pack...great! Seriously, the movie is fantastic!!!!!

Seeing the skin effect is one of the things I looked forward to seeing. I know CW is going to get ridiculous praise for this movie.

I'm gonna feel bad for chris weitz though if he listens to the others (aka non-fans and critics). But, I'm pretty sure CW knows to listen to us fans cuz we are the real critics. Critics are so f'in lazy...they don't even read the books so I don't even get how they can give us a critique of the movie. Don't worry CW, the fans got your back. THIS MOVIE IS GONNA ROCK!

Exactly!! They can't judge his directing ability if they don't even know the material the movie is based on!!! I heard the movie sticks REALLY close to the books and any Twilight Saga fan will appreciate that!

Well hello there Arkansas! How early are you going? I was thinking 10pm???

I'm lucky. Don't have to wait in line as they are showing a private midnight show for only the radio contest winners, which I won 2 tickets Monday. So I'll probably start heading that way around 11pm, to get my popcorn and drink ready.

OH wow. The theatre I'm going to ha 8 theaters already sold out for the 12am showing and has 10-12 exra theaters opening up for show times from 12:15 to 12:45....this is amazing that the demand is so high...that they have to use all 20 theaters for opening night!!!!

I'm going to the Regal 10 in Savannah, GA. They have 7 MN showings and 1 at 12:30 on Digital Projection. Is anyone going to see Twilight? I was planning on it but decided to do the responsible mommy thing.... I'm going to watch the DVD with my 12 yr old daughter while we eat dinner and then after she goes to bed I'm heading to the theater - around 10!!

I bought my first TL t-shirt, just for tonight. I always thought that wa/2s kinda teenie-bopper, but I couldn't show up tonight without one. Anyone else wearing TL gear, or dressing up in character?

Cool! As much as I love Robward, I couldn't bring myself to wear his face. I wanted something that said I was Team Edward, without wearing Edward. So I got the 'baseball tee' from Hot Topic that is black and white with the Cullen crest on the front and Cullen written on the back.

$600M is a lot of money....but I think New Moon has a very big chance at it...We can make it happen!!! Not to mention they really timed it great with the opening weekend right before the major holidays....perfect timing...school is out....people can some days off at work....season of giving!!!!

I have no doubt in my mind that New Moon will top $100M. I'm shooting to boot The Dark Knight out of the top opening weekend record - $160M - we can do it!!

I have a question... I know many people here have already seen either advanced showings or live in other parts of the world, and they have been gracious enough not to post spoilers.

So, how long do we all agree to wait? Does the spoiler posting start Friday in the early am or should we give all a chance to see it, as many are trying to avoid the Fri/Sat screaming teens - do we wait until Sunday night/Monday morning??

I feel so lucky that I got to see New Moon at the Advanced Screening yesterday.... It is amazing... Get ready to fall in love with Jacob and appreciate Taylor Lautner as an actor... Kristen Stewart also shows her veteran ways in this one... :) AWESOME!!!

Some people at work are giving me a hard time about going tonight....but I could care less. They obviously don't know what they are missing! I am so ready to see NM...I can't hardly believe this day has come!

All im gunna say is.. IT WAS FACKING AWESOME. Rushed. But awesome.

Wasn't it over 2 hours long?? But then...you still can't fit everything in 2 hours over a good book...but it has got to be at least 100x better than Twilight, right??? Say it is so!!!

I just saw New Moon! I loved it!
So much better compared to Twilight! Chris Weitz did an amazing job!
The score fits perfectly in every scene and Tayler his acting is really good!
Can't wait for the next one!

OMG!!!!! this movie was AWESOME! seen it on the 18th... but techniqually it was the 19th as it was a midnight screening. me n my friends lined up at 9.00 and were basiccly 1st in line YAY! only 6 other people there. and lots of older peoples lol, oh well come one come all. LOVED IT! wanna go see it again, my sis says i can't go more than 5 times.....i said i'd try to keep it under 5. but between us, i won't try that hard lol. :D ohh and i LOVED the ending ha ha 4 those who haven't read the book it was funny to her them go "ohh now i need to read the book." ha ha. my fav scene is the 'break up' scene between jake and bella

It was a great movie, my only down side was opening and closing credits - but hey thats not what we go to see though *lol* I also didn't think the music (pop song parts) didn't really fit in myself - but maybe it just isn't my taste in music.

I honestly thought there would be more Victoria though.

Glad it stayed close to the book and the wolf boys were great, and I'm a Team Edward so that is saying something.

I just have to say, I live in NewBrunswick, Canada and we had an early showing of New Moon at 10pm Atlantic time, I just got home from it.
OH YEAH, I'VE SEEN IT.
It is amazzzzzzzzzzzing!!! It makes everything fit together so wonderfully, including things cut out of the first book.
You will LOVE it.
The acting is far better than the first movie, as well (Even though I still loved Twilight lol)
It's just plain intense.
Warning though, prepare for some tears if you're a sensitive person. I had to fight not to cry, it's completely heartwrenching.

I can't believe how big this movie is!!!! I was so impressed with this movie and how many ticket sales it is having!!! (I loved it :)

I was honestly so disappointed! was it just me or did it seem very choppy and for some reason didn't feel like it was a harry potter movie.
