even though we didn't break the dark knight's record for opening weekend(and dark knight and spider man 3 were in more theaters than NM was!!).... there's still next year!! 3rd is still a good spot =)

*bites nails* i'm anxious as to when they'll finally announce breaking dawn. Summit wouldn't want leaving us hanging on 3 books made into movies!!

they have to make breaking dawn first of all thats when they get married and they already foreshadowed that in new moon. theyre not just gonna stop because its unfinished and they also foreshadowed bella being a vamire. these things happen in bd. also money for cgi is not an issue. im pretty sure many of u haf heard of the new movie avator. its a very cinematically pleasing movie with lots of cgi it luks like. it tuk about 67 mil to make it(thts wat i heard) well new moon made that much and more in one day. so no worries and rating is not an issue either. shall i point out sum movies where they were pg 13 but were still pretty raunchy? theres too many to name. face it ppl standards for ratings r being change. even melissa rosenberg (hate her) said it wouldnt b a problem they would just haf to easily work around sum things(i.e naked). and it doesnt need to be two movies i mean come on half of the stuff in bd was a little boring. that was the one book that did not take me one day to read. they just haf to get to the point. cum on twifans have sum faith! it will be a movie

Ya know, you have a point. I loved BD, but honestly, Bella's pregnancy could be cut down quite a bit - it was over 200 pages!

So, here's the basic synopsis of BD, the movie:

-Start with a beautiful wedding, show Jake & Bella's talk about having a 'real honeymoon' - have him go wolf and run back to the wood (there's some action they need to add)
-Isle Esme - incl feathers & broken headboard!
-Bella realizes she pregnant - cuts to Rosalie and the other Cullens taking care of her, Bella looks like crap - Edward talks to Jake - Wolf pack splits - they figure out the baby wants Blood - Bella drinks blood, starts to look better...
-Delivery, not too graphic, but you know what's going on
-Bella's pain then transformation (can't wait for this!), hunting
-Meet Renesmee, Bella tries to attack Jacob, things calm down, Charlie meets Renesmee
-Flash 3 months later - Irina sees them in the woods

Ok, this is getting long, still - all that could probably be fit into less than 1 hour easily, leaving plenty of time for all the action - by action I mean preparing for the Volturi, I have no desire to fabricate a fight scene at the end. Bella's mental talent makes too much sense with the rest of the Saga.

I do think we should get close to 3 hours for BD - that's normal for the last in a series.

And nice to see someone else gets that we can have a PG 13 rating and still have a sexy Isle Esme. To require an R rating it would have to be soft porn - sounds nice to some of us, but that's not what was in the book and not what we are going to get.

You have a point there. I did like getting inside of Jacob's head. I also liked seeing Edward from Jacob's point of view, especially since Edward was hiding his emotions from Bella. This is also where Jacob and Edward form a sort of bond.

I can really imagine this in two movies, the first one ending at Bella's last heartbeart. Its so clearly engrained in my head, that I can't see it happening any other way.

Well, of course I don't mean to cut all of that out, but I can definitely see it being trimmed down for a movie. They would definitely need to show the conflict between the wolves. I just really want them to make the movie, and as much as I would like to see a 2 part BD, that's going to be much more difficult to coordinate with everyone's schedule. And I read somewhere that they now have a contract for a total of 4 movies, but not 5. Wish we could hear something more concrete.

I dont think they might announce it after the New Moon DVD comes out because they are gonna need a lot of money in order to make the Breaking Dawn (Renesme, CGI) But I think they are planning on taking a break at this point. But if they announce it it will be the perfect CHrismas present :D

as much as i love the books and them being made into movies i also agree on them taking time off from them. it's been a chaotic year with filming both of them in a short period of time *sigh*

I thought that I would see this movie twice this past weekend. I ended up watching it four times.

I know that it is not perfect and has definite flaws, but the movie is really good. Critics need to bite me. Seriously.

And I am going to see it tonight with some ladies at work. This movie deserves support from us. The cast, the direction, the CGI, a lot of work went into making this movie for us.

Well i just got back from seeing it again. Which was my fourth time. *high five*

I loved it even more. It was packed, full of people. But no one made a sound and everyone enjoyed the movie. I have to say each time i watch the movie, i fall more in love with Kristen Stewart. She was flawless in New Moon. Perfect. As well as the main guys as well.

But yeh, i'm dragging everyone to the cinema. I got my brother and his three mates to go watch it. I advertise Twilight like their is no tomorrow. They should really pay me. LOL

I got so excited I was almost jumping up and down and asked if she wanted to go again! She was surprised - we never go see a movie twice, and I'm about to see it a 3rd time. Honestly if she didn't bring it up I would have gone by myself while she was in school!

i think BD would fit just right in a two hour long film. I mean the book is pretty dull, especially towards the end. They can seriously cut a whole bunch of stuff out. And if I had power over it I would alter some parts, just to make it all the more exciting. Harry Potter being split in two is a understandable, there's just too much happening, and there's always action. BD is a whole other story. I think they should add scenes, like they did with the half-blood prince, all for the sake of the movie being non-daft.

All this BD stuff is making me so nervous i wanna explode. I know everybody is divided, but i just think it needs to be 2 movies. I know it would leave us in massive suspense to have to wait for part II, but i don't want crap being left out. And SM did say she wants it to be two movies and that the script would have to be really good for it to be 1 movie and come on rosenburg isn't that good, so i don't see how she can come up with a good script for BD to be one movie unless summit lets BD be the longest movie in history. But summit isn't that stupid, if the movie is too long they will make less money and summit is all about the money. So, i think its more likely BD will be 2 movies...just have to get everything finalized and get everyone signed up. And even if its 2 movies, they can just shoot it all at once. If they get a good director and work efficiently, they can finish it up pretty quickly.

For me, $9 at night, $7 in the daytime.

i LOVED how true to the book the movie was!

From what I've read Rob and Kristen were signed on for 3...I'm sure their salary requirements will change so you have to have time to negotiate those sorts of things. Taylor's market value has also increased. Then there is the timing of it. These guys have more than likely signed up for other projects so you have to find a time where it works for a very large cast.
I think we heard about a week after Twilight regarding NM filming, it hasn't even been a week now. Plus it's thanksgiving so no doubt some people who make these decisions are on vacation. PHEW! Basically what I'm saying is, we may not hear anything for a couple weeks :)

I agree Eclipse will have the momentum needed to pull in the 4th movie, everyday the fan base grows without question. Twilight is a phenomenon like nothing ever seen.
I still think it would be a huge mistake of Summit to not let us know it has at least been green lighted. We deserve to know... if it wasn't for us there would be NO franchise for them to sell. I will be as patient as possible for the first few weeks but if we haven't heard anything by the first of the year expect some serious PlayButton tantruming!
