Estimated international cumulative is now up to $243 million!

North American cumulative is now up to $230.7 million!

I have seen the movie 5 times already and am planning on going atleast 4 more times. Every time I watch it I notice something new. I'm so glad New Moon is better than Twilight. Because of my heavy schedule I wasn't able to see the long waited New Moon ... and finally I watched it this evening ...It was awsome and beautiful..Colors and landscapes were warm and breathtaking..kristen is freaking awsome....I am ready to watch it again and again if my boss gives me less missions to the rural areas where no available movie theaters ...I started to get depression while driving in the rural areas in this time of the year ..All we have there pouring rain, foggy mornings, crows, naked forest, old people and empty renaissance castles that nobody want to visits .... I don't think there was any physical chemistry either; I think people are just mesmerised by the abs. Which are, of course, mesmerizing.
But in Italy when Edward grabs Bella out of the sun once he recognizes she's real--that was hot! I think Jacob is a cutie, but still needs a couple of years.

I am glad the movie did well and I saw it twice already and i liked a lot about it. a LOT. but i have to say i'm soo disappointed w/ the lack of bella's epiphany scene, and really how incredibly short their make-up scene is. i know movies have to move a little faster, etc., but SM even said the whole point of the book was for bella to realized edward really did belong to her, and for him to realize how strong her love was for him. and all of that is just missing. the two minute make-up scene just didn't provide me w/ any closure. what do you think?

I've seen it 3 times...

The first time we were in row 3...enough said...every actor was huge and we got very dizzy!

Second time, I went to see if it was better from farther back (like it wouldn't be - I think I was just looking for an excuse to go again - hahaha) and it totally was. Plus, if you're not listening too well, you miss some pretty funny hidden humor lines. Yes, Chris W, I caught those!!!

The third time, I told those who saw it up close with me the first showing, that it was so much better from row 30, than row 3...so we all went again just to be sure. And low-and-behold, I was right!!! lololol

But I think I'm good now...and content. :O)

Variety has an interesting article today about that...apparently the hold up in the logistics has to do with the decision of rather to do 1 film or 2, the money for the stars, and Chris W., decision as to rather he will direct. Interesting...

Does seem like they could just make a general announcement. Must be another bit of their strategy...I looked it up, last year they announced during the opening weekend that New Moon would be made but did not announce the director until Dec. 15th--so a general announcement is not out of the question...unless..it would increase the amt. of money they would have to put out in negotiations!

Sure, I could pick it apart and say that there are things that I don't like. Everything post Italy was way too rushed for me.

But for the most, I love it. I love it because it is part of Twilight and I love the cast, so I thoroughly enjoy it.

Plus it is worth the ten bucks each time to see EC do his diva strut. LOL

Seriously though, I keep having people ask me to go so I end up going again and again. I really didn't plan this, it just happened.

Don't feel bad or guilty about seeing it too many times. I've seen it 4 times myself. I don't know what Team Tyward was watching but it sure wasn't New Moon. The movie was 50 times better than the first one even though there were things I didn't like either but that goes with any book represented in movie form. They went too fast in the beginning and the end and where were the hiking scenes. Also when you see Bella hiking to the meadow you see that she is wearing her Vans instead of hiking boots. Some continuity errors but all in all it brought justice to the novel.

I understand your comment totally. I cried in the book but didn't cry in the movie--not even tempted! I'm a serious crier, too. Ached in the book but didn't ache in the movie, etc, etc. I wanted it to be longer, have more delicious scenes in it. Visually it was beautiful and well acted/directed, so what more do I want??

The book and movie are such different FEELS. My friend said she liked the movie a lot because she had no expectations of the movie, understanding they were such different mediums. I appreciated her wisdom and insight.

But, wow (and sham wow), I was so impressed with Taylor Lautner. I though Bella's acting was better with Jake, more believable (I am a way huge KStew fan & an ok RPattz fan, btw). TL gave KStew so much to work off of and I think CW set a trusting, protected atmosphere for them to work. R Patz is faithful to the book/character but I think it's how Stephanie wrote E's character, I still can't get with his character in the movies--my mind filled in the places where there are blanks (yes, I read Midnight Sun on Stephanies's site). Call me crazy, but I don't feel the connection so much between E&B when they are together this time around. Maybe I'll feel differently when I see it again.

And yes, I am seriously broke, too (another point I commiserate on). I'll about be searching for quarters and returning bottles for refund to watch it again in a matinee (and yes, I'm unemployed--I live in Taylor Lautner's beloved Michigan after all!).

Unlike New Moon, Twilight wasn't relseased in most countries in November, it had many different dates, in some countries it was released this year.

Seriously, I heard the hold up is because the Trio only signed on to make one more film and the studio wants 2. They would be crazy not to make 2 more. Think of the money they would make. But who knows the reason. All I know is they need to give us some kind of comformation. I hope they don't wait till Eclipse to tell us.

From what I've seen in interviews with the 3 of them, they are all eager to complete the series. I really don't think they will have a problem with the 2-part BD and more importantly, I hope Summit insists on the 2-parter, cause there is NO way Breaking Dawn will be any good as a single movie.

I believe the reason why they haven't confirmed BD yet is because they are all doing other projects. Once they can nail down a time slot for filming we will get confirmation of it. It's just frustrating waiting & I wish they'd get to it already!

I took my 61/2 yr old to see it?! She's seen Twilight several times at home (with mommy censorship) and in my opinion it is considerably worse. Nah, you're not the worst mom, trust me! There are a lot of reasons I won't take her - she has trouble sitting through 70 minute movies, and with the price of movies these days, I'm not missing part of it to take her to the bathroom for the umpteenth million time. She also likes to talk during movies. I will not subject other movie-goers to that, it's not fair.

And her imagination seems to take off to higher heights if she's seen it on the big screen - DVD doesn't seem to fuel the nightmares the same way... go figure! :D

My 7yo has seen Twilight & discovered she quite liked it (which is hilarious, because she was teasing her sister mercilessly when SHE finally capitulated - they were both anti-Twilight for the longest time, deciding mommy had officially lost it...LOL)

She'll see it when it comes out on DVD, there's no doubt about it. She just has way to active an imagination, and has given herself nightmares from stuff on the big screen, or doesn't sit still through the whole movie. 2 hours is pretty long for her - she barely makes it through the 70 minute ones... :D

The 1st time it felt a bit rushed,but maybe that was coz I was greedy or coz I read about scenes that weren't included-that's what spoilers do to you..lol.Needless to say,still a 1000 times better than Twilight.
2nd time it felt just right.A 1000 times better than the 1st.
3rd time I thoroughly enjoyed it and loved every bit of it.

With every time I watch it I believe more and more that:
-CW and his CGI team deserve an Oscar or sth for the wolves,the sparkle effect and the apparition effect at least.

-I want Rachelle to win the best villain award.She rocked my world. Michael Sheen's Aro and Dakota's Jane left me with chills too.

I was actually really tired during my #1 at midnight plus it was so hot in the cinema:) I'm guessing the A/C was broken, and yeah too many shirtless guys could be seen on the screen LMAO!

#2 was much better. #3 was terrible due to a bunch of anti-fans who were siting behind me and were very sarcastic and loud in their comments. They laughed at almost every scene including the break-ups and Edward's proposal;/ #4 was good again but I need a screening at 10 am when there's nobody else in the theatre:)

I absolutely loved it:) OK there are some wtf moments like Alice's vision *facepalm* or Edward's grand entrance s*x walk ;D But all in all it's great:) I fell in love with the music. Desplat is a genius. And so is Chris Weitz:)
