2The gorgeous Rachelle Lefevre (aka Victoria) is featured in the upcoming fashion section of Gotham Magazine.  She talks about her fashion style and her upcoming roles.

With long, curly red hair, porcelain skin and a loud, infectious laugh, actress Rachelle Lefevre is hard to overlook. But until she appeared as the bitchy bloodsucker Victoria in the 2008 smash hit Twilight, she’d been a relative unknown. Now with the hotly anticipated second film in the series, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, hitting theaters November 20 and two more films in the works, Lefevre is about to find herself in the glare of the spotlight.

“When I first got to LA, everybody said I was too ‘girl-next-door’ for edgier roles,” she says. “I ended up playing a stripper, an escort, a vampire and an off-her-rocker troubled poet. I keep playing roles that are not even close to the girl next door.”

    I think Nikki Reed was cast as that role not only because shes a great actress, but because she kind of has an "IN" with catherine hardwicke and obviously Kristen Stewart... I dont think she is wrong for the part at all, I love her, but under a different director she may not have been Rosalie.

    But, shoot, under a different director none of them may have been who they are, and Twilight could have been just a cheesy load of crap. I know some say it is, but i think CH deserves alot of credit for the cast.

Rachelle is interviewed saying she was heartbroken and I feel for her. What a terrible part to lose.. and what iditots they are for replacing her when she dies in Eclipse anyway!!!   • Yah, I mean I feel like she wouldn't have been dumb enough to give up the roll, so if they had warned her she had to choose between Eclipse or the other movie she was signed on to do she would have easily chosen Eclipse. So looking at it that way makes me think they just weren't happy with her all together, and if thats the case how come? At first I was worried she's going to totally blow it in New Moon and that was why, but so far with all the clips I have seen (before I went cold turkey) it looks like she did a great job. So I don't know, I just don't know.

  • She did, but I wasn't sold on her performance in Twilight because honestly, she had like 3 lines in the entire movie. I'm not bashing her in anyway. I'm just saying. It will be weird nonetheless seeing her with a much bigger part in New Moon and then seeing someone totally different 9 months later. Personally I always hate cast changes , I never think its a smart move unless the actor actually dies.

    I think it's because Summit new they would make $$$$ no matter who played certain "smaller" parts..and it's true. We woul all watch it no matter who played the "smaller" parts.

    I agree. I always felt like, if she had to actually CHOOSE between the movies she would have picked Eclipse... so it never quite felt right. I plan to maintain my Summit Boycott forever. I just feel like they are a bad business, especially after the whole "It's all Rachelle's fault" press release they had.

    I really hope, one day when she retires from acting, she'll release all the deets!

    this makes it harder and harder to let go of the perfect Victoria. When I first read the books long before the movies were casted...I had picked her to be my Victoria. To constantly see her in other things and looking so d@mn fantastic as always, I might add....you're breaking our hearts Summit.....we love our Rachelle. Bryce is good actress...but she isn't the Victoria we've grown with. Sorry but it's true. Rachelle IS Vic. And when do I get James back from the dead btw? hehehe

    Honestly, I said scene it wasn't a scene, but a picture so don't know whether it meant anything or not or whether they even used it or not. I saw it awhile back and for some reason think she was crying. Like I said saw it once and never again so may not be anything. You may be safe still.

  • Oh, my gosh! Ok, instead of ranting (yet again) about how Bryce Dallas Howard can never live up to Rachelle's portrayal of Victoria, I'm gong to comment on how beautiful these shoots are. This is completely another side of Rachelle; as Victoria she's all wild and feral, here she's so soft and feminine. She has that kind of face that can make her a ruthless vampire, or a simple, naive girl-next-door, or anything else for that matter. Love her!

    Rachel is freakin beautiful in a dazzling way haha but as for the whole "she's always be victoria for me", "Bryce Dallas is never going to live up to her", and so on I have this B*tch fit for all of you.....

    Aww come on! She had exzactly 4 lines in Twilight?! How can you base your devotion to a woman who had 4 lines?! She's NO longer Victoria, the sooner all you people who are so anti-bryce come to that reality the sooner you'll be able to enjoy Eclipse :] so enough with all the undeserved BD hate, its just ridiculous and very rude of all of you to not even give a more experienced (not saying better, but she is higher on the totum pole) a shot!
