I got my mom Twilight the movie and New Moon the book for her birthday back in April... she just opened up NM a few weeks ago but I'm taking her to see the movie this week sometime. She's such a good sport though. LoL

I say Peter Jackson for BD. If he can make Schmeigel/Gollum look so freakishly real and right there on the screen, then I say he could make REnesme look real. I've never seen a CGI creature look so real. My son swore it was a man in makeup. Now that NM has made so much money, I'm sure there's more directors out there jumping at the chance to take on that challenge.

George Lucas, Stephen Speilberg or Ron Howard or how about Titanic's director, James Cameron, he's not afraid to make a longgggg, epic movie and spend lots of money, lol

True. Heck, with how talented children are these days, I"m sure they can't find a 4 or 5 year old that looks 3 and who can talk fluently and play the part of Renesme well. Child actors can surprise you. Look at Dakota Fanning when she was 5, she was almost like a seasoned actor. Maybe they should used CGI just for when baby is first born and then when she looks about 3, they can use a real child.

OMG I just saw a video were Tim Burton was suggested to do Breaking Dawn, that would be so AWSOME!! and a little bizarre.

I know that Tim Burton is a good director and all, and I have Edward Scissorhands on my keeper shelf, but I am seriously thinking that a woman should direct BD. If it will be divided into two parts, then a woman should direct the first part at least which will have the honeymoon. I don't know, but after seeing NM I feel that men just naturally are more inclined towards focusing on the action/suspense subplot instead of on the romance.

It warms my heart to know that he bothered to stop and say thanks to all the fans who've been once-or twice, or might be thinking about going a third time- and I love that he bothered to say something about Eclipse!!! You could tell they all liked New Moon and were excited for it, and if Rob or anyone else is ready to say they can't wait for us to see Eclipse, I can only think it is just getting better! I wish they'd hurry up and officially announce BD and get on it though before people start running into conflicts and dropping out. It won't be the same if ANYONE drops out- RL was bad enough!!

God it makes me happy knowing Rob doesn't regret any of this and that he really truly appreciates everything the movie's accomplished.

PS; some chick on my facebook's picture is of Rob sprawled out on the cover of Vanity Fair with "my boyfriend on the cover of vf, you go babe", and I literally had to use every bit of my strength to resist commenting and starting a major facebook war with the girl... Ever happen to you guys? LOL

Yeah! I was so pissed in movie theater! So much makeup and it looks bad! My hubby was laughing at me! He was like " He makes illions but still has to wear so much lipstick! That is just sad!"

in a way i kind of hope they dont go hugely known director...all of these actors were either known in small circles...or not very well known at all before this...i kind of think a johnny depp or a tim burton being as established as they are may have a different view for BD...and because they ARE so established they wont feel obligated to stick to the desires of the fans or the actualities of the books...as long as we get a director who knows how to emote, and a screenwriter who is conscious of the most important lines in the books we'll be fine...I was a bit irked with Melissa for removing some lines that i thought were vital...but cest la vie...

oh rob.....i can think of one thing u can do to thank us........
