Saturday Night Live ran a new Twilight parody this evening that imagines what the world of Twilight would be like if the Cullen family were monsters of Frankenstein and the wolfpack were replaced with mummies.

Sadly, the humor in this parody fell a bit flat for me-what do you think, hilarious or not?

i totally caught that hair thing! lol… i was like omg… its kristens hair tick… twi-spoofs-parody stuff is getting kinda weird… i think i could make one but it'd turn out kinda gay…like this……. OMFG PEOPLE!!! less than two weeks to freaking go for New Moon, We Made IT!!!!! WOOOOO give yourselves a big pat on the back!

I think Taylor Swift does a better Bella than Kristen. I think the SNL skit was ok. It made me laugh.

Wow, I dont think i was gone from the website for that long, what happened to the comment thing? How come i cant log into disqus? well other than that, i didnt find the video funny at all, i think that if they took out Frankenstein and the mummy, and left Adam Samberg as Edward then the video would have been funny!! I Love Adam Samberg, he’s hilarious!!!!!

Why are people saying “Hey, they should have parodied New Moon!”?
I'm pretty sure this IS a parody of New Moon, or at least it was meant to parody the IDEA of there being both a vampire and a werewolf in the movie.
The people at SNL probably figured the Twilight people were just going down the list of cliché movie monsters and decided Frankenstein's monster was next, either that or the Mummy (who did make a cameo).
I thought it was pretty hilarious because I had thought of this myself, but I was a little disappointed that they had already beat me to making this spoof!
