Yes! I’ve seen it four times and I don’t plan on stopping! Lol. I absolutely loved New Moon. Chris Weitz is a genius and an amazing director. He has my respect and devotion. Yeah, some things were left out and some things that didn’t make sense were added, but I really don’t see the big deal. They stayed as close to the book as possible and the outcome was beautiful. I couldn’t have asked for more.

I, like you, love the series and I am eternally grateful to SM for creating such a beautiful masterpiece.

It truly is an AWESOME movie and it's a credit to Chris Weiz and the casts dedication, to bring this story to life for us devoted fans, such as you and I.

I'm pleased; I've made you even more EXCITED for Eclipse.

I'm so EXCITED to see how it all comes together, I think David Slade having seen a few of his movies will definitely do this part of the story justice.

The fact that he's a visual director too, I'm look at the photography he produces, he possesses such a creative vision and also is a lot darker in his approach, hence 30 days of night, which I LOVE.

Of course, Twilight doesn't sit within the horror genre, as it's fantasy but at least he has the ability to give it the darker feel, which Eclipse certainly needs to be convincing.

I have every faith that he WILL do us fans proud, I just can't wait to see it.

What's your favourite scene in Eclipse?
I think my would have to be the tent & sleeping bag scene, this will be AWESOME to watch, the dialogue here cracks me up.

Another one of my favourites would have to be, the scene where Bella hits Jacob for kissing her, and then shortly afterwards, Edward's confrontation with Jacob, as a result of this event. Edward's lines, where he says something along the lines of, "the next time you return her in less than the perfect condition I left her in, you'll be running with 3 legs. Do you understand hat, mongrel.”
I think Rob will be Excellent at delivery this line, also this one too. And if you ever kiss her again, I WILL break your jaw for her.”
They have to include this.
There’s so much to look forward to, I can barely contain my EXCITEMENT.
And, yes I’m hoping to pursue a career in design, sometime in the near future. At the moment, I’m currently working on adding to my portfolio, and when I feel it’s ready, I will definitely be out there discovering the companies, where my dream job exists.
I’m known as a university graduate to residents in the UK, but to those in the US, I think the correct term is college graduate.
I graduated last Nov with BA Honours Degree in Product Design/ Animation, but I also have a BTEC National Diploma qualification in Graphic Design.
All being well, I’m planning on going over to America for a vacation, but also to pursue a career over there, and eventually settle down and start a new life there.
It would be a dream come true, it’s always been my ambition to live out in the states, from an early age, ever since me and my family went to Miami Florida and stayed in a hotel on, I think International Drive, opposite the Wet n’ Wild water park.

Eventually, when we start getting some eclipse movie snapshots and video footage/ teaser trailers, I will be creating a video centred on this particular story.

This is definitely something, I will aim to do.

I have faith in Slade too. I love every single movie he’s done and I’ve seen. It is obvious that the man is very creative and passionate about his work. Eclipse is one of my favorite books, if not my number one favorite, therefore I can’t really name ONE scene that is my favorite. I love the book from start to finish. But yes, I agree with you. I am definitely anxious to see the tent/sleeping bag scene and also the proposal scene. I am a hopeless romantic so that scene is one of many favorites.

That's so nice of you to say, I hope you've a great time seeing Eclipse for the first time, I know I will, it's going to be EPIC.

I'm really lookking forward to seeing how the action sequences have been executed.

I reckon for the increased impact the scene has on the viewing fans, David will probably show the action from numerous perspectives, switching from Bella's, Edward's, Seth Riley and Victoria to further down in the forrest, where the newborns are battling with the rest of the Cullens and the werewolves.

It's definitely going to be a higlight of the movie, from a technical and visual standpoint.

I really want David to re-use the slow motion effect, that emphasises the speed they're travelling at. This looked so COOL in New Moon, because even though the frame rate was slowed down dramatically, to give that surreal superhuman quality, they still manage to retain the visual effect of super-human speed, with the motion blur effect that is present throughout the action sequences, which was AMAZING.

I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the main proposal scene too, I think Rob & Kristen will bring the magic here. Their chemistry onscreen & off is undeniable.

It will probably be quite emotional to see. :-)

And yes, when I feel my work is ready and I'm fully prepared, hope fully in the next year or so, I will definitely travel over to the states to pursue my dream carrer.

New Moon Takes in $140.7 Million Opening WeekendHey, I definitely agree with you guys. :-)

So, yeah I’ve had my fix twice now, and it’s still not enough, I’m like a crack addict, I just want more and more, lol.
It was just as SPECTACULAR as the first time, if not better.

THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!! :D :D

Some scenes were UNBELIEVABLE or believable, whichever way you want to look at it.

The wolves, the fighting, the chasing, the humour, the tension, the heartbreak, the romance it has everything and more.

It's like Chris infiltrated my mind, stole my thoughts and projected them back onto the screen.

I honestly couldn't have asked for anything more, it IS AMAZING.

I was saying to my sister after it finished what a great job all the cast and Chris have done, and what ending. It’s been altered a bit hasn’t it, because part of the proposal happens in Bella’s bedroom instead of during the confrontation at the end.

It was a welcome change, a brilliant way to end it.
Me and my sister didn’t want it to end.

My dad had is reservations, but he said it was a good film. GOOD, movie, more like a PHENOMENAL movie.

I feel this great sense of relief now that I have watched it, for some reason I was nervous at the beginning, because I wanted it live up to my expectations.

I’M SO PLEASED TO SAY THAT IT DEFINITELY DID, YAY.

Without a shadow of a doubt.

How AMAZING was the reunion scene, sizzling hot chemistry, lol.
Unbelievable, Rob’s portrayal of Edward and Kristen as our heroine Bella were MIND-BLOWING. Kristen’s always been my favourite actress, I’ve always known she was AMAZING in all her movies, but that was something else.

I’ve got to give props to Taylor as well, how funny was he and he’s definitely come on leaps and bounds since Twilight, so believable in his role.
Standout actors for me in the movie were, Rob, Kristen, Taylor, Billy, Ashley, Kellan basically all the Cullens.

How good was that birthday scene, Jackson really did well there, really unnerving to see his animal side take over.

That was a surprise also, when Jacob, Bella and Mike were out at the movies, which was AMAZING and Jake suddenly became really agitated and lashed out at Mike. I mean I like it, but it definitely came as surprise.

How UNBELIEVABLE IS THIS WHOLE MOVIE.

The beginning was something else, very creative, that’s Chris for you, head screwed on constantly, always aiming to get the most out of each scene.
The shadow over the moon, that slowly reveals the title at the beginning, as soon as I saw this, I got goose bumps instantly. It was a weird sensation, it was like, I had electric pulses going through body.

It was most likely down to the anticipation and the EXCITEMENT, combined.
I agree that it is 100 times better than Twilight, but you’ve got to remember that this one had 3 times the budget from the success of the first movie, and Chris Weiz, who is primarily known for his artistic vision.

I do have a lot of respect for Catherine though, considering the story was relatively unknown at that particular time, except for us fans, and the capital and resources she had at her disposal were minimal in comparison.

I still think she should be proud of her achievement, it’s the fans that have the deciding vote at the end of the day, and not the narrow minded critics, who get paid ridiculous amounts of money to write negative reviews.

I LOVED the first movie, and because of the lack of funds, resources and the obvious stylistic differences in direction, I think she did all she could with it at the time. She brought the story to life and I as fan, just feel incredibly grateful that she had the foresight to tackle such a challenging story and bring this fantasy story to life for the majority of us fans to enjoy.

After all, if it wasn’t for Catherine’s persistence into getting the movie commissioned into production, we may not have ever seen this SPECTACULAR creation come to life.

Back to my thoughts on New Moon:
Every single scene was visually breathtaking. Oh, and yeah the SPARKLE, when I saw this, I almost fainted, lol. It’s AMAZING, exactly as I pictured.
My favourite scenes, which are so hard to choose, because there are so many, are probably starting from the beginning.

The beginning with the moon enveloped in shadow, followed by Bella’s first dream sequence and Edward’s SPARKLE effect, as soon as I saw this, I knew instantly that we were in for an EPIC movie.

Car park scene at the beginning, with Edward, Jake, Bella, followed by Edward reciting Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet, what a smart arse, lol. Then onto the shockingly heartbreaking birthday scene, with the introduction of the Volturi, pulling the vamp’s head of and dismembering the corpse, nice touch and Edward defending our beautiful heroine from his blood crazed brother.

The heartbreaking break up scene, executed and performed brilliantly by Rob & Kristen, I really felt for both of their characters at that particular moment. The hurtful and angry side to Edward, followed by the pained devastation on his face, the eye squint when he kisses the top of her forehead and then disappears.

Bella’s nightmares and struggle to hold onto Edward, the 360 degrees camera shot of the months going by.

Charlie’s humour, cliff diving scene. Nice shot of Sam diving in the water from a great height, plus the motorbike scene with the AWESOME effect of Edward’s apparition. Jake hanging out with Bella, the night out at the movies, how funny was that.

Jake & Bella’s short breakup, the frighteningly realistic look of the wolves, the first fight between Paul & Jacob, the chase with Victoria and Jake, followed immediately by the wolf pack. The action and the soundtrack in this sequence was BRILLIANT.

Laurent’s introduction and the battle with the wolves, the cliff diving sequence, with the STUNNING visuals of Edward’s apparition, the confrontation and hilarious scenes with Alice and Jacob (Let me know when you’ve put the dog out, lol. (something along those lines anyway)

This is also a big highlight for me, Edward’s scene in the apartment after hearing of Bella’s sudden death. Rob was AMAZING here, the pain he expressed as he crushed the phone with rage. This is what I reckon, the burning man look in Breaking Dawn should represent, PURE CLASS.

The reunion scene, with the dramatic music and tension, even though I knew the outcome, I desperately wanted Bella to reach Edward before he exposed himself. I really LOVE the fact that Chris decided to have Rob walk fully out into the sun, unlike the book, where Bella collides into him, as he walks off of the step, because the visual of him SPARKLING in the sunlight, was simply BREATHTAKING.

It’s still vivid in my mind even now, they have to keep this throughout the saga, it looks UNBELIEVABLE.

Edward & Bella’s embrace and confession, Kristen & Rob’s chemistry here was ELECTRIC, they shone throughout the whole movie for me, a pleasure to watch them at their best.

Michael Sheen’s portrayal of Aro was FANTASTIC, he mimics the personality and light feathery voice of him perfectly. This guy has clearly done his homework. It wouldn’t surprise me if he won a supporting award for his performance, it was so believable.

I like Dakota, she was brilliant, I do feel, she could have expressed a little more frustration, especially when she was trying to torture Bella, but nothing happened.

Rob’s pain and the execution of Jane’s actions/ powers displayed on his face, crippling his whole body until he was limp on the floor was something else, once again, Rob shone here for me.

The fight between Felix & Edward, was a real highlight for me too, the choreography and the choice of effects really sold that scene. How hard was it to watch though, seeing Edward getting the crap kicked out him?
He did put up a bit of a fight and was the hero throughout that scene, but he did get an arse kicking.

The bit where he was brutally slammed on the floor by Felix and his indestructible face cracked and healed was AMAZING.
He got straight back up and slammed immediately onto the steps, that’s hardcore.

And when Felix nearly broke his neck, I could barely watch that.
Also, the sequence where Alice shows Aro Bella's future with her as an immortal, even though it got a fair few laughs, probably down to their choice of attire and the way they're running happily side by side, I really like it.

It was quite clever to have such a comical moment in a serious scene.

And Kristen as a vampire, OMG, I've always thought she is STUNNINGLY beautiful, but this was the icing on the cake, she looked ANGELIC. :D

The whole scene at the end, with the shock wedding proposal, different from the book, as this happens in her room as us fans know, but a clever decision by Chris and his team, because it left it on a nice cliff-hanger for Eclipse.

I really didn’t mind this, because it was a great shock to the audience, and I really do feel it was shocking, but a great way to end a SPECTACULAR MOVIE.

This is the movie I dreamed of, CHRIS WEIZ is UNBELIEVABLE and I think it definitely has been received well by us fans.

What an AWESOME achievement, he should be delighted with his creation, visually and artistically, combined with the standout performances from the main stars, I’d say it is the BEST MOVIE I have seen to date so far.

I wore my New Moon t-shirt both nights, got some looks whether they were positive or negative, I simply didn’t care, I’m just proud as a fan to support the franchise and I felt AWESOME wearing it.

ALL I can say is CHRIS WEIZ FOR BREAKING DAWN, are you with me.

And, I can't wait to see whats in store for Eclipse, I've every faith that David will deliver.

Personally, being in the UK our age cerificates are different, I think a PG-13 is a 12A here in the UK, because that's what Twilight and New moon are.

I would like Eclipse to be a 15, due to the action and frequent violence that occurs. I could live with a 12 rating, as long as they stay loyal to the events in the story.

Breaking Dawn has to be a 15, possibly an 18. If the intimate scenes are cut, there is no point, because this is basically what the story leads upto. And, they have to really think how to execute the brutal, heartbreaking birth sequence, which I think, if done correctly, will definitely be the highlight in the whole saga.

I cried my eyes out here, seriously and I want to be able to feel the same emotions as I do, when I'm reading the story.

There's so much potential with this saga, I can honestly say, if executed to the true potential, staying loyal to the story as often as possible, but allowing a few improvised changes, these movies WILL be my all time FAVOURITES.

I'm so EXCITED, I just hope they can give us passionate fans the experience we deserve, because New Moon was EXCELLENT and has raised the bar, but the WHOLE saga, could be SPECTACULAR and quite possibly life-changing.

I'm thinking that they may record the commentary while Rob is in LA this next week for Thanksgiving? Seems like they recorded the one for Twilight pretty quickly after the movie came out and they did the press tour because, if you listen to what was said (and who didn't!) they seemed to have no idea at all that Catherine would not direct New Moon but they were aware that the movie was making lots of money.

The commentary will have a higher age rating than the movie!

This is so true. It is everywhere and it is still surprising who it touches and who is involved with it. I think that every once in a while it's really good that something like this comes along--Star Wars, Lord of the Rings etc.--people need a fantay world to embrace and dream about.

Yes, I feel tremendous pride in being a part of it! It's not always easy or popular...it's not something i can really share with those close to me but to have made friends all over the world because of this phenomenon is truly awesome...I never would have believed it if I had not experienced it.

To feel I was smack in the middle of it! Yes! A rush I've never felt before. I read the 1st three Twilight book in May of 2008, started anonymously stalking Twilight site right after that--there were fans out there but I did not know too many, except my daughter and her friends. Now, WOW I feel "We did this! We made it happen!" I feel tremendous pride and happiness at the money and the record-breaking crowds New Moon is bringing in!

Awww, you totally said it better than I could! I feel the same, that sometimes it's not the most popular thing to be a fan of in real life, but clearly the world is taking notice right now! In a way, I guess it's evidence of what a group of passionate people can do if they put their minds to something. We willed New Moon to be a success, and so it is!

Yes, the world is now realizing what the fans have been so crazy for. Twilight is a 'phenomenon' although I prefer the word 'epic'.

Come on, any day now we need to hear news of Breaking Dawn! I feel confident they will make it, but it's bugging me to know if it will be 1 or 2 films.

I agree, that by now Summit has figured out that they have to make BD. I am curious too on whether it will be 1 or 2 movies. I'm not sure where I stand.

I'm personally hoping very much for 2 films. After seeing NM, pretty much every scene could've been longer, and there were some scenes that got left out altogether. With how dense BD is, I think it would suffer majorly to be crammed into one film.

Plus, 2 movies means more time to anticipate what's coming next, and drags out our wonderful saga a little longer.

I'm pretty confident too, since they sent out an official statement yesterday saying they look forward to putting BD on the big screen. ..but as of now, that's the only info they've given.

I heard a long time ago that Summit bought the rights to adapt the book. Guess they're just trying to get all the dates and the contracts nailed down before they make the big announcement.

Since the theaters aren't as packed as they were the first few days, I think it was more enjoyable for me because there weren't too many screaming girls in front of me so it was definitely more peaceful. :]

The studio, my editor, and I were all working off the same piece of music. The only way I can make that interesting is to compare it to my previous experience of The Golden Compass. I don’ think the studio had read the book. Maybe they had heard the audio book while sipping Zinfandel. Eventually, they were appalled and frightened by it. At a certain point they considered cutting loose the author. They considered and executed the complete regearing and destruction of what I thought was going to be a pretty good movie. It was a shame and pursued me through what should have been my sleep for a good year.It’s interesting then that you went forward with another book adaptation with another studio, considering how badly it went the last time.
I really liked the actors. I saw the first movie and I thought there was something special about Kristen [Stewart] , Rob [Pattinson], and Taylor. I liked the emotional tones to the book. It was stuff I knew how to do. I had this theory that if you stay true to the book, you would win. You would not only win with the fans, but other people will get what the fans care about. If the box office tells us anything, then it’s a win. It’s made more in its first day then the entire domestic run of Golden Compass. It’s extraordinary.

The Twilight saga won't give Rob any credibility, such movies like RM will.

that may be true...but he can easily springboard the film's success into other opportunities...there's something to be said for being hollywood's "it" boy...but he has the chops to back it up...i dont think rob is a one trick pony...in some ways he kinda reminds me of viggo mortensen...hes a goof in interviews...but there is some intensity to his acting that could really BE something...so we'll just have to see what he's made of...

This is so exciting. I'm off to see New Moon for the second time in about 15 minutes. I'm so stoked because I didn't think I would get to see it again because no tengo dinero. My older brother likes the series and hasn't seen it yet so he offered to bring me. Squee!!

Sometimes I feel like Summit doesn't really appreciate the fans or knows how to appreciate the fans. Us, Twi-hards are the only thing keeping them alive at the moment! We're the "cushion of such a cozy franchise piggy bank", but yet Summit keeps on disrespecting us time and time again. First with the considerations of replacing Taylor and then replacing Rachelle because of a scheduling conflict that could have been easily solved.

Exactly its us fans that are making you all those millions you are lining your pockets with Summit!!!! get off your butts and officially tell us about Breaking Dawn or not...Unfortunately I will not get my hopes up for it to be absolutely spectacular because Summit will most likely be tight asses again or demand such short filming times and give them a low budget and some things will just not seem right.

Eg: Twilight - I Love this movie but sooooooo much more could have been done if they had just relinquished just a tad more money. New Moon - Was definately better escpecially with the visual effects I love the warmer tones but at the end of the day I just think that it was rushed through like there were some scenes that should have had the time taken to go deeper in and some were not strictly needed. I am hoping that Eclipse has been done well but I think that the small budget and time constraints are ruining something that could be amazing.....

Im not bagging the movies I loved them to pieces but I just feel that more money and time could have turn something already amazing into something spectacular.

Come on Summit please give them a decent budget for Breaking Dawn I mean at least 100mill lets go out with a bang and make a great book an awesome movie - stop trying to put all that profit in your pockets or buy up other cruddy films because to be quite honest you got very lucky with the Twilight franchise and personally I think one of the bigger companys should have forced you to give it up because at least they would appreciate that to make something good you cant be tight!!!!

say..honestly,i do really like twilight saga.when i first saw twilight movie i like it so much..because of the cinematographic, the scene (more deeper),tone color..and sure the music is sooo into it with every scene in the movie.thumbs up for chaterine 4 choosing the musics, and cartel burwell make that instrumental songs ao great (i really enjoying every scene)

but when i saw new moon (that im waiting for!).first, i dont like all the music in new moon.sucks!even there's muse, the killer..etc.and the meadow song not soo representative for the scene, maybe you can put cartel burwell again on eclipse.

Well, I understand that Summit has to pick a time for filming BD that will work with all the principle actors' schedules (now that they are getting more work)...but seriously, they MUST get the ball rolling here soon, because uhhh...they're going to have to increase the budget just for the Botox the actors will need to keep looking like teens.
