Hey there Breesmom! It's just a guess, but I think that because Jessica is such a small character in the Saga, and she's barely even seen in BD (wedding only) she must be trying to seperate herself from the Saga a bit and establish her career seperately from it. I can understand why she would want to do that. It would have been nice for Letterman to address her hilarity in NM though, she was GREAT!
Anna (Jessica) was so funny in NM… I laughed every time she talked….
David Letterman on the other hand… When I was there for Rob a few weeks ago I was not happy. I am not sure if I mentioned this but when the guest comes up on stage they put a black box with a TV screen and clock in front of them.. I was sitting in the 4th row and I could only see Robs face the rest of him was blocked off.. I have been watching other shows and nobody else seems to do that.
I don't like David Letterman he only cares about himself and only wants guest in his audience that are fans of him. Hence the only way you can get tickets is by answering a trivia question about the show…

She was nominated for High Society that is the part she is trying to explain to Letterman than she got when she was with her brother. It was her first part and she was either the second or third (depending on different sources) youngest person to ever be nominated for a Tony. The girl can sing!!! Anyways, she also did a performance celebrating the greatest women from Broadway at Carnegie Hall. That is on You Tube under Anna Kendrick Broadway. It is called Life Upon The Wicked Stage and is really cute.
Yes, I think she and Michael Welch were great at adding a bit of comedy as Bella's human friends. Both did great jobs with small parts. Can't imagine the movie without them.

It goes something like this, it's in the book as well but I'm too lazy to read it right out of the book:
“Bella, you're the only one he can't see coming, if I go he'll read my thoughts and he'll think I'm lying, trying to stall him, which may end up rushing him to step out into the sunlight sooner.”
That's the basics of it, I know it's not word for word, but she says something similar in the books. Because Edward cannot read Bella's mind she must go, if Alice goes he'll think she is lying that Bella's alive and he'll think Alice will try to stop him by lying so he'll rush his plan to get himself noticed by humans.

Do you remember the part in Twilight when she was in math asking Bella about her and Edward's “date” in Port Angeles? She was diggin for details… (the MS version of it was SO FORKIN FUNNY! To hear Jessica's thoughts through Edward… I giggled my butt off!)
I expected her to try to call Bella after the wedding/honeymoon. I found it wierd that her friends sort of dropped off the face of the earth. I know Bella and Edward were supposed to move away to school… but i thought they would call her cell phone, or at least e-mail.
Wonder if SM will ever write Edward's POV for BD so we can see if any of this was going on behind Bella's back while she was pregnant and “changing”…
Hmm…interesting this to ponder…yes, SM should have included this in BD. Would have been a really good idea.

ever since i saw her in that indie movie called CAMP back in 2004 about a camp for kids about theatre performances (everyone HAS to see it. girl can SING. stunning performance!) i knew she would go places and what do ya know, i was right! i wanna see up in the air and some other great movies that have come out this fall and winter season. finally some worthy, character driven movies worth watching!
