I mean I love new moon no doubt of that, but so silly..but….every movie has mistake or two, and that's not even a huge mistake, except if you're italian!
My avi is from a picture taken on their first day of shooting New Moon. They were in the school parking lot. I like this pic because Edward looks so young and innocent–it is when they were in love and without a care–before he left and broke her heart. My feeling is that after he left both he and Bella became sadder but wiser and they had to grow up faster.. At the time of the parking lot they were in their new-love, everything is perfect phase of their relationship. Anyway, that is special to me. I've had this avi since the day it first came out and don't plan to change it.
I like Edward's hair. I liked it in Twilight and in New Moon. I'm sure I'll like it in Eclipse, from what I've seen, it looks very similar to New Moon
Although usually I, too, like longer hair on guys I think Rob looks great in shorter hair so I'm not worried about Edward's hair.

My avi is from a picture taken on their first day of shooting New Moon. They were in the school parking lot. I like this pic because Edward looks so young and innocent–it is when they were in love and without a care–before he left and broke her heart. My feeling is that after he left both he and Bella became sadder but wiser and they had to grow up faster.. At the time of the parking lot they were in their new-love, everything is perfect phase of their relationship. Anyway, that is special to me. I've had this avi since the day it first came out and don't plan to change it.
I like Edward's hair. I liked it in Twilight and in New Moon. I'm sure I'll like it in Eclipse, from what I've seen, it looks very similar to New Moon
Although usually I, too, like longer hair on guys I think Rob looks great in shorter hair so I'm not worried about Edward's hair.

i saw new moon last night for the 6th time .. and im not as infatuated with jacob anymore.. i think the novelty of the abs has died down abit (not much) when watching new moon. i really focused on bella! she was great.

I thought everyone did an excellent job acting in New Moon. I appreciated Kristen and Rob's performances, they were just as I had imagined Bella and Edward in the book. I think Rob was at a disadvantage because he was suppose to look so despondent and desolate and draw–and he did–Especially when compared to Jacob who looked really good!
I think Taylor did an exceptionally good job and I liked the movie Jacob better than the Jacob in the book. Taylor really stepped up nicely to embody Jacob. Although Kristen and Rob were superb, its hard to compare because Taylor was really showcased in New Moon, and I feel that was necessary because we needed to be invested in his character to care what happens in Eclipse and Breaking Dawn the movies.
I've seen NM 5 times now at the theater and have appreciated it more each time.
yeah definitely have to agree with you that I prefer movie Jacob to book Jacob. I really didn't come to appreciate Jacob's character until Breaking Dawn when I read the books. But thanks to the movie and the hype of Taylor Lautner/Jacob Black, when i read New Moon in the re-read with nmm.org and when I watched the movie I really enjoyed the Jacob character!!

Taylor delivered that line very well…in fact, he did really well in that scene in general…he was so tender…that boy can act! I actually felt in Twilight that he had a natural ability to act…but I didn't know how he'd handle the MAJOR part Jacob has in New Moon…but he did it. I think he'll be better in Eclipse. There were a few scenes where I was really blown away…a few where I thought his delivery of lines could have been better…but overall… I'd give Taylor an A.

it was longer and was sectioned into 3 parts and had the best quiff on top.. in NM, it was a shorter versino and more Rob Pattinson-ish than Edward-from-Twilight-ish. i was shattered. and the makeup wasn't the best on him . and i was shattered about the wardrobe. people make fun of the grey coat he always wore in Twilight but i LOVED it. and in new moon, i understand he wore what he wore to Bella's birthday for most of the movie… but i still didn't like how he was dressed. he wore my dads wardrobe not my hunky Edward Cullen's wardrobe haha.
they had a post on it like a couple of weeks ago… they spoke to the wardrobe coordinator person for new moon. and spoke about how he wore the suit coz it was a special occasion and stuck with it in the hallucinatinos coz that was the last hing bella saw him in and he stayed in it till italy… but i still found it too old. he is pretending to be a normal 17 year old, they are trying to be inconspicuous.. thats why i preferred edward in twilight. WOW you hit a nerve with me hahaha i should really shut up.
however, in saying this.. i thought kristen/bella looked much better and of course taylor/jacob look phenominal !

In Twilight there were a few outfits which I adored…his outfit when he saves her from Tyler's van…the blue jackety thingy he wears..SO.HOT.
the simple blue shirt he wears when they go see the Cullens…and the hoodie he wears at the hospital…AND…the suit he wears to the prom (OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *uses shamwows*).
In New Moon…the first scene was alright…but even the suit he wears to the party wasn't right…it was something Robin Williams would wear in Good Will Hunting or something…it was strange seeing every single hallucination she has with a suited Rob standing next to her with ultra red lips…
The makeup really failed in Italy…he face was fine..the way it should have been for a starved vamp…but his body…like it's REALLY hard to make Rob look like a bloodless vamp…his skin always shows flashes of pinkness underneath…even in Twilight…there are scenes when I'm like “Poor Rob, he's so alive and he can't help it”…lol
Bella looked lovely. I thought she was lovely in Twilight too. Jake looked AMAZING post transformation…those simple t-shirts…oh my.

I agree. Every moment that Jacob and Bella shared, from the bedroom to the truck ride, to the kitchen, was just romantic. So much better than any of the scenes that were shot with Edward and Bella in both movies.

Like so many after reading the books, I adored Edward in 'Twilight,' having no idea about the role that Jacob would come to play. As he developed his character in NM though, that's when I fell in love with him….and haven't looked back since. ;o) His humor, his warmth, his loyalty, his devotion..so many aspects of him that to me just embody the ideal person that someone wants to be with.
I do like Edward, but between the two, I am 100% Team Jacob.
Sometimes the best thing might be to not choose..that way you can have the best of both worlds. ;o)
I do like the qualities that Edward has as well, but for me if I had to choose I'd have to go Jacob. LOL I love his down-to-earth nature, his fun-loving spirit, his wonderful sense of humor, his ability to just lay everything out on the line and get it resolved right then and there and move on…

While I'm 100% Team Jacob, I still do like Edward, so yeah…the little strut he give across the parking lot is great. I love the smirk he gives as he starts approaching closer to the camera.
I was at a party last night and they had marshmallows there, playing a game with them. Of course I so wanted to use the line, “What a marshmallow!” but I knew it would be wasted and wasn't in the mood to explain. LOL
Hope you get to see the movie soon. A month is a long time to have gone without seeing it, so I do understand the withdrawal that you're having.

I think the withdrawal is actually having me doubt the movie, because of some negativity that I have heard about it and when I am asked to explain why I love it I can't get coherent anymore, so I can't help them get to the dark side with me..
It's just unhealthy..
LOL! There are some parts in the movie what I wish had been included from the books, as well as some things done differently, but overall I was pleased with it and think that CW did an amazing job.
I've seen it 5 times now, and it honestly gets better and better each time. The parts that aren't there I still miss, but I've come to take what IS there and enjoy that.
Yes..you for sure do need someone that you can take over to the dark side. It's no fun being there all by yourself. ;o)
I think that we have to see the book apart from the movie (so not link it too much).. because otherwise every tiny little detail will drive us crazy and honestly, why go crazy when you have a perfect movie with a flatline causing strut and a good story.. but I'm just worried that this will also cause problems because then people could be saying that it also sucked if it is seen as just a movie.. :S

Taylor is AMAZING as Jacob…hard to believe he is only 17 and such a good actor already. Kristen is an increasing disappointment, though.She never seems to be able to smile when she is with Edward. What is her problem? I'm not talking about Twilight or after he leaves. I'm talking about how she is so lifeless with him before and during the party. She's lifeless with the Cullens, too. Only seems to know how to show negative feelings (anger and pain). Unfortunately, I think this is just the actress, who does not have much of a sense of humor and can't seem to cry as an actress, either. Who would have dry eyes when Edward left? Or in half the scenes with Jacob? She should AT LEAST have had tears in her eyes. Why she doesn't seem to relate to Rob on film any more I have no clue. She's a little better with the character of Jake, but really she seems more and more to be playing the same character who speaks in a monotone and breaks up her sentences with long pauses at least once in every sentenc in every film I have seen. Beginning to think this is just the way the actress talks in real life, unfortunately. I have to say her scene with Jacob in the rain was probably her best. No way to change the actress now, but she is a disappointment in this film.

Did anyone notice in the sequence where Jacob and Bella fix the motorcycles, (especially the part when Bella throws the pizza slice that turns into a wrench) that on the bottom of Jacob's shirt there is a grease/dirt smudge in the shape of a werewolf paw print? I've seen the movie 5 times and my friend agrees that it indeed is a paw print. Sneaky Chris Weitz….
They both have amazing things about them. Jacob always makes me laugh and happy if I'm having a bad day. SM definitely has a way with the men she creates. Have you read The Host? It has more amazing male characters and *smirks* another love triangle XD

OMG! The snow is crazy. There is like 17 to 18 inches out there! We walked in the middle of the street, cuz the sidewalks were completely covered over, only like 7 blocks to the subway. We are lucky, we have a movie theater right next to the subway. So it was FUN! Lots of people were at the movies yesterday, even in New Moon, again! I hope New Moon has another good box office weekend.
