Kristen Stewart plays a lap dancer and prostitute in the upcoming Welcome to the Rileys which will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival this January. Kristen told WENN:

well I must say that I went out in the freezing Wisconsin weather today to get the EW mag with Rob on it because I didn't get one of the collector's editions due to the fact that I have a subscription to the magazine!! grrrrr…. but… I have the magazine with Rob on it now so it is all good!!

I honestly have no flippin idea how I feel about this movie? And I couldn't tell you exactly why? Part of it may be that I don't wanna see Bella naked, or Kristen. I'm just, not into that. Although I do enjoy a good movie, and respect that part – so I put up with skin sometimes because I just have to. :O) I've survived worse…lol.
And I don't want to watch Eclipse and have images of Kristen's boobs flashing through my subconcious at times! Ewwwww.
I can only imagine what Rob thinks of sharing his woman's body with the world now? He probably doesn't care for the most-part, and I'm guessing he's even turned-on a bit – but in reality, he's gotta hate it just a little? Actually I don't find it that sad at all. This happens to actors all the time. They'll do a project that is huge and then their little indy film gets a lot of attention because of the blockbuster they were in. She should be glad that it's going to bring in more viewers than it would've done. It's good for her future career, and also good for the indy film itself. If she is so proud of it, use her popularity to bring in more people.

I think that Kristen does herself a great disservice to say that people only want to see it because they want to see “Bella” in this stripper movie! Kristen is a phenomenal actress in what ever role she chooses and i dont think that people are only fans of her because she is “Bella”. Personally, i have always thought she was a great actress. She can definitely win an Oscar one day! I really think she will, she is that good! She is so serious about the craft and getting into character and she is so natural in all the emotions. She takes it so to heart! And not for nothing, i love a good independent film! I would have probably seen this anyway!

And is really labeled as 'the Rob Pattinson movie'.Mind that Chris Cooper's in it. Lost actress and Bond. It's a 'Rob Pattinson' movie.
Kristens Twilight stardom certainly helped, but WTTR and TR are still up for a distribution contract and while some people still seem dismissive of Kristen, you have to agree that this girl isn't trying to build up a movie around herself. WTTR brings a great on-screen duo together Melissa Leo and James Gandolfini, The Runaways is a story about the band but concentrates mainly around Cherie Currie and brings a lot of fresh faces as well as Micheal Shannon as the really crazy Kim Fowley. The Yellow handkerchief couldnt get a deal for a long time, some people were bitter about it cause of what William Hurt and Maria Bello do in this movie.
both are struggling against their twilight fame, but you know who's approach I like more.
It's not fair that these indie films, with real substance and real plot lines and stories are only getting recogniton because of Kristen.
I kinda don't like that people are saying that they would not see this movie if Kristen wasn't in it. I guess I am just a fan of raw, stripped down movies that mean something.

i think that she will go back to indie for a bit. cuz she has said in interviews she doesn't like all the attention and has said that she doesn't think another big role will come around for her, just not in the cards. idk why she would think that. she is an amazing actress who deserves great roles!

I love how both Kristen and Rob pick completely different characters to play for each movie. They don't stick to one type of character. They like experimenting with different roles. I think it's really cool because it lets us the fans see that they have talent and technique.
