I just saw the New Moon trailer (yeah, I'm not THAT stupid, so read on.. LOL) on a SERIOUS network here on tv and I'm having a fan-girl moment here in my room on my own, because one month after friggin' New Moon came out and just waiting for commercial breaks while watching Grey's Anatomy, House, Castle, etc. and of all of my friends and family (that are NO twi-hards, sure there are fans but no one like me) having seen it and only me not (ok, I saw it on MTV, but that doesn't count): I HAVE SEEN IT! It was 20second of pure heaven..

yeah, I heard something on the news here that Avatar had broken records and all and I was like "NOOOOO, don't take NM's first placeee!!"
But the world's all good, NM is still #1 (in opening weeked, but whatever.. LOL)
My parents didn't understand the fuss.. :)


I don't know, my dad wants to go, so I think I'll just go with him (with enough persuasion LOL) (he is trying to get me to admit that it's better than NM so every time a trailer on tv comes he's like: "But that is so much better that that gay vampire with the sock-colored skin" ¬¬)

I heard Avatar was crap. So i'm not all too fussed to go see it.

My friend said she walked out because she got so bored. LOL

I saw Avatar yesterday and It's one of the most amasing movies I have ever seen. When I walked out of the theater there was so many emotions at the same time. The love story was so beautiful, the enviroment was extraordinary, the story in it self was just breathtaking.. S E E I T!

It's currently in the Top 250 Movies of IMDB and received a perfect score from Ebert. I wouldn't say that it's "crap" by critical consensus.

critics hated NM and I luved it. so ... don't really care what critics think. it's cool if you liked it, lots of people do. I luved Titanic, though.

got dragged by bf - total snoozefest. wish i could have walked out, but stayed...ugh....totally overrated

I don't know if we saw the same film in cinemas, but Avatar was easily the best movie I've seen in years. James Cameron's comeback was brilliant, and the fact that he created every little detail in the world with new technology is even more staggering. He knows how to stage immense battle scenes, too...Damn.

It might be three hours long, but when you see it.. Time flies by. It's amasing. It feels like the movie goes in one hour. It's.. well.. I truly loved it, the best movie I have seen in so many years.

Okay you convinced me..lol..I'll go see it, though I think it's almost impossible for Avatar to be as good as New Moon, but I'll try to be open minded:) I'll let you know what I think when I've seen it:)

Anyway...I'm from NYC, McVampy. I was raised there. Right now I'm in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia...yeah crazy right? I'll be here for a while...I'm getting my bachelors..then I'll go back to NYC for my masters. :-) Yeah it's crazy right?

Lots of Twilight fans here in Malaysia too. But most of them haven't read the books...like I saw the movie in theaters here, and at the end when he says "Marry me, Bella" everyone was like OMG! WHAAAAA???? Fo' shizzle? lol! I'm yeah like dudes...they were like omg what's gonna happen next? I was messing with them...one girl who's like super team Edward goes "tell me she says yes!!" and I was like "nah...she's gonna turn him down and he'll be heartbroken...and then he'll attempt suicide again but this time the Volturi won't take it...they'll come to Forks and there will be a HUGE battle and everyone will die..." She really believed me.

I don't know why you can watch these movies and not wanna read the books. I know for me, I SAW Twilight first...and the curiosity to read the books was killing me...so I read them, all 4...in 1 week.

Anyway that was me and my rambling. Yup...New Yorker in KL. :-)

I'm currently studying at the moment too and wanting to do half a semester next year or the year after on exchange. Would love to go somewhere in the US. This year i did health science, realised it was too broad for me and you learn all about physiology and anatomy but aren't really qualified for anything in the end. So I applied elsewhere for next year (what a waste this year was) and have just got accepted into a different uni for next year; a science course majoring in nutrition. Then hope to do masters and become a dietitan. Its a lot of studying but if I'm happy with the job in the end, then I don't mind. And I'm hoping to do a lot of travelling whether its with exchange or just holidaying in my holidays.

Yeh with twilight, I had heard the hype about it and it had just come out in the cinemas but I wanted to read the book first coz I felt if I watched the movie I might not want to read it coz I already know what's happening.. But yeh I read it and fell inlove with it. Watched the movie and loved it (but massively dissapointed at the same time).
