I don't like this feeling. It is vaguely reminiscent of another alternate universe back when Eclipse started shooting.

We had all been so spoiled over a consistent run of Rob and Kristen and Taylor news, photos, and gossip. The New Moon shooting, where we got photos from the set all the time, and then the wonderful epic MTV Movie Awards, and then daily photos of Rob on Remember Set, plus Stewy in her JJ glory .... then Comic Con ... then the TCA's.

And then ... nothing for weeks on end.

New Moon has come to theatres and now we are two and a half weeks into it and ....nothing.

I don't like this. AT ALL.

I'm stilled pissed that she isn't going to be in Eclipse. Her chase scene in New Moon was one of my favorite scenes. She just IS Victoria for me. I have nothing against BDH, but she is just not Victoria. I think that the change is really gonna screw Eclipse up for me. Any scene with Victoria, I'm just gonna be sitting there going "THAT'S NOT VICTORIA!!!!". I don't want to be that way, and I'm gonna try to not let it ruin the movie for me. I just don't know if I'm going to be able to fully enjoy it now. :(

I know that she has the same wavy/curly hair as Victoria in the previous movies.. not sure if it's a wig though. My guess is that it is.

She is such a beauty. Literally stunning. I loved the woods scene too, it gave me chills. That and the scene when the months are passing and "Possibility" is playing. The music they chose for those scenes was perfect, and it conjures up images from the movie when I'm listening to the soundtrack every time! I loved her in this movie, and I will miss her in Eclipse. I still can't wait to see it though. And I'm hoping for another diva strut moment from Rob, that would make me sooo happy! I could watch that part over and over... and over.

Hearing Damage and Victoria's air dance with the wolves was one of the highlights of NM she was flawless clothes, hair, contacts, moves, 100% Victoria.

I wish her all the best for the future I hope to see her more often on the big screen

And I Love Kristen - a lot of people don't like her because she's so awkward - but I think she's just normal!! ..... for some reason it's just Rachelle...I just didn't like her as Victoria.

and with all the commotion and scandal - there are obviously two sides to every story - but everyone else in the films are staying on for all of them. She couldn't get her stuff in order....

i will keep saying this...rachelle played the hale outta victoria...she has that determined wild focused look in her eyes...she is stunningly beautiful...and i feel bad that this experience turned out this way for her...but then again...i think with the intensity she was able to deliver with only a few lines and mostly just her eyes and body...that this will not be the last time we hear or see her...I will give BDH a chance cuz she deserves it...but rachelle will always be my crazy a*s victoria...

Wish Rachelle all the best in her life, not only profesionally but also personally, beautiful Victoria...really...gonna miss her but i´m not going to say anything else because I haven´t seen BDH and all the cast are talking very well about her...

The Hearing Damage scene is in my top five favorite parts of the movie. I adore Rachelle and I am going to miss her dearly.

I know some of you are going to disagree with me, but I still wished that the car scene was left in the movie. :)

I wanted to see the car scene too!! I don´t know why they didn´t include it in the movie.

Scummit cut as much of Rachelle as they could---in screening w/ the director she was in it much more---even more in the chase scene was cut. Motivation---slap down Rachelle---but wanting to squeeze every last penny out of her fans they might put it in the DVD---its a funny scene as written.

The hearing damage scene IS my favorite scene! It's why i keep going back to see it over and over.. it's done SO well. Also, what car scene?? :)

There was a scene shot with her eating a human carcass in a car going down the road.

That would have been cool to see. And to have seen more of Rachelle.

I think it is included with the deleted scenes on the dvd though.

I have to run, but yeah it would have been cool to see how they did that. I'm sure they would have done it tastefully without a lot of gore, like the stitching up scene.

She had such nice eyes, such a pretty colour in the picture, i love her hair as well. It was sooo red in new moon, looked like my friends. I hate that they replaced her, she was so good!!

I seriously find her one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL women in hollywood. Kristen is my number one of the twilight saga but honestly, in comparison to Nikki, Ashley, whoever else.. Rachelle is in an entirely different league. Just equisite.

She's also one of the most rounded of all the girls. I will serioiusly miss her in Eclipse...

That's the part that irks me. Nothing personally against BDH, but Rachelle loved her character from the start. BDH didn't accept it in the beginning because it wasn't "big enough" for her. I wish she had Kristen's mentality when it comes to jobs and accepted something because she fell in love with it, not because of how big it is. She'll probably be great in Eclipse and it's nice to hear the cast thinks she's sweet, but that one little statement always gets to me.

I can"t see anyone else playing Victoria. i love that scene you mentioned. one of my favorites. she's awesome.

Summit's business with Rachelle makes me really nervous about BD though. All of this waiting makes me nervous too. Who else would they be willing to re-cast for a 5th film? How inflexible will they be with the people who gave them their #1 smash hit franchise? they will have to renegotiate contracts for a 5th and final BD if it's 2 parts. I don't know how commited they are to their stars after this. I was really disappointed with them for dropping her, especially because she only has one more film and it's her biggest part.

Here's to hoping Summit respects the rest of the franchise actors more than they did Rachelle.

Yeah I was kind of wondering the same thing too. What happens if one of the star's doesn't feel like they'd be getting paid enough to do a 4th and 5th movie or if they just want to move on? Will Summit then replace them with someone else or will they decide not to do the last movie. I know that most of the cast said they'd be up for finishing the Saga though so I don't think we'll have any huge issues for finishing it.

I have to say that I support Rachelle 100%. Along with many others, I was truly devastated on the day I heard she was dropped from doing Eclipse. It really got on my nerves that Summit could treat one of their own actors that way, especially because she was really dedicated to her role. I know she must feel betrayed and I would feel the exact same way if I were in her shoes. I just have to say that she was AMAZING in New Moon. Her scene was my favorite by far and the combination of Victoria running with Hearing Damage blew me away. They picked the perfect song for that scene and now whenever I listen to the song I think of her racing through the woods. I also hope Rachelle goes on to do some great films and gets a lot of recognition because she's an extraordinary actress. She will always be Victoria in my eyes!

I know. Let's just hope Summit will recognize what a good thing they have in ALL of their actors. Maybe this delay in announcing is because they do recognize that and are doing their best to keep them and accomodate them. That's what I would like to hope anyway.

Out of complete and sheer honesty, I feel Summit would recast any of the wolf pack. I HATE that feeling, but I can't shake it. I truly don't believe they'll recast anyone though, just if they had to they seem like they'd be more willing to recast them since they're newer to the saga. Hopefully they've learned that once we accept someone as one of our characters, we are not willing to let them go.. no matter how new or how small their part is.

I definitely agree with you. I love, love, love Rachelle. She's such a NATURAL beauty. A pretty darn good role model for girls. She's comfortable enough with herself to put pictures of her Twitter account without makeup.

I will say this. I have issues with BDH right off the bat considering that she originally would not take the job because she thought it was too small and then accepted it when it became a big franchise. :(

But I will reserve judgment on her performance until I see what she brings to the film.

I am concerned though because I have seen her in several movies: Lady in the Water, The Village and Superman 3 and was not impressed.

Yeah it really annoyed me that all of a sudden BDH is Victoria when the franchise is popular, but she turned it down in the beginning. Of course I'd still be mad that they replaced Rachelle, but at least I would have more confidence in BDH.

Also I'm glad that BDH didn't go to the New Moon premiere because in my eyes it would have been disrespectful to Rachelle, even though she didn't show up. Rachelle was in New Moon as Victoria, so how awkward would it have been if BDH showed up and was like "yeah I'm Victoria in Eclipse." I pretty much dread Eclipse's premiere because someone will probably ask BDH about replacing Rachelle anyways. I was so upset that Rachelle decided not to go to the premiere because I felt like she deserved that moment and it was torn down by Summit. She didn't feel comfortable going to the premiere because of how she was treated and I don't blame her.

I agree with you 110%. I have seen her in other movies, not impressed, also I think she does not have the presence, the natural menace that RL brought to Victoria role.

As far as Summit, they will replace anyone who doesn't tow the line which is why when all this broke, everyone was tight lipped and courteous to BDH. Notice though at the NM premiere, Eclipse actors were there, but not BDH. I think Summit is trying to shield her from backlash and will keep her out of the limelight until Eclipse clips and trailers start coming out.

That bothered me too, I like the fact that all the actors in Twilight loved the story and their character, where BDH rejected the part from the get go... I like her as an actress but I don't think she deserves the chance.

Yeah, that's my only gripe...her jumping on the next big thing. I'm somewhat confident with her performance, but I guess it helps that I've never seen any of her movies. I don't know what to expect.
