Considering how much he hated his wig in New Moon and Twilight, I find it appropriate that he wore a different wig for every single sketch. I bet he loved that.

Taylor did not have great material to work with. In that respect, the Twilight sketch shown here was the best of the lot. He seemed awfully nervous during the opening monolgue. His delivery was a bit wooden. I thought his performance in the Boyfriend/Pregnant Girlfriend sketch was the most natural and relaxed. Otherwise, either comedy is not his thing, or he was too nervous or his comic timing was just off due to inexperience. I'm not sure he was ready for SNL, it was a big bite to chew off. Having said that, I can't think of a single 17 year old that would have done any better. As Jacob would say, maybe he was over-thinking it.

I thought Taylor was great in Twilight. Better than New Moon, even, performance-wise. Even though his scenes were short, he was so natural and his performance, really credible. He was so believable when he was walking on the beach with Bella, telling her the Quileute legends. So, I'm not hating on him, I have nothing but admiration for him and he has talent as an actor. He seems so ambitious and together and he's got loads of potential. I'm just trying to be objective and write a fair review.

Hahaha my best friend can't stand her acting at all for all the reasons you listed but I did not mind her she brought Bella to life for me but to see New Moon a different ball game. I felt for Bella while reading but I do not think I felt as bad when watching the months going by the deadness conveyed across her face! The screaming! & the pleading to save Edward was amazing! Hopefully in eclipse she will bring a certain aspect to Bella I was not understanding bc I dislike her during that book & on. OH! And the “break up” scene with Jacob killed me! That's when you 1st time you hear Bella admit she is doing Jake wrong but I truly believed her when she said it was killing her & she wished she could be what he wanted. But than again that's why I love Jacob bc although that's what he wanted he wasn't going let her guilt trip herself like that. Oooh I just love new moon! But so ready for eclipse! Actually, when I read NM I was annoyed that she was so overly dramatic(for me) months after Edward was still gone. I'm like I know it sucks to get broken up with but eventually u gotta pick urself up. & I admire Kristen for trying 2 promoate Bella as someone who was indepedent & picked herself up but I don't see it. She was brought back 2 life by another guy who eventually becomes a love interest so not even a best friend. I think I would feel better about bella if Angela helped her something but than again I wouldn't get my Jacob so yeah.it's like ppl who complain about Jacob answering the phone..it might have been annoying 2 some but if bella would have picked it up or Alice than who knows If Edward would have ever returned.

I'm up now bc I'm recoverying from finals week sleep deprivation. & I had 2 break twilight creeping into sections(like study so many hrs & than creep). Some days it worked better than others. My daughter and I were rolling when he said “I have a necklace too, it's Samwise Ganghee from Lord of the RIngs, he's a hobbit. I can relate to hobbit's because I'm an exceptionally harry person.” OMG that was so funny, and he delivered it with a straight face. It was great. And the Twilight and opening monologue were great. Some of the other skits were so dumb, but he still did a great job.

More sexual tension is always a good thing! SM never went into detail about it, but I think CW did a good job with the sexual tension regardless. It wasn't over the top; it gave you just enough to see that Bella might be falling in love with Jake (to the non-twilighters) and make it pretty steamy w/o actually having them kiss. And that's quite easily how it could have been reading the book because we never did get the details about just how close they got to nearly kissing!

no, your right. he is. i'd pay to see him do more comedy, or a gay role or as a drag queen. actors who do that tend to get more respect and it challenges them and really proves if their really capable actors or not.
