According to the Houston ChronicleNew Moon-er Jackson Rathbone (aka Jasper Hale) has pulled out of the film Lords of Chaos, which is based off of Norway’s black metal music scene -
He’ll also appear in The Last Airbender, the next M. Night Shyamalan film, due this year. Alas the preliminary buzz that he’d play Norwegian black metal legend Varg Vikernes (of the band Burzum) in the film Lords of Chaos proved faulty; Rathbone has said he had to drop out because of scheduling.
We previously reported back in May 2009 that Jackson was to star as the lead role in this movie. I wonder what the scheduling conflict was? Breaking Dawn perhaps?

Check out these ‘Twilight’ stills, how fantastic are these? My favorite scene(besides the baseball scene of course) is the “meet the Cullens“ kitchen scene. All the blunders from the Cullen’s were comical, from Emmett’s “her name is Bella“, to Rosalie breaking the salad bowl and completely spazzing out, to Alice & Jasper totally making us all feel uncomfortable the first time around lol gosh I love this family!
