Malicious Mandy has another detailed (and awesome!) report of Peter Facinelli’s Q&A session during the Seattle Twilight Convention -

• Directors set the tone of the movie so all 3 movies so far had a different tone or energy. Catherine was passionate, energetic, excited, like she had drank 5 cans of red bull all the time. Chris was like Carlisle, calm and then he started wearing scarves, “stealing my character” Peter joked. Eclipse is his favorite book so it was exciting to work on with David Slade.

• A young girl named Mimi had submitted the next question and was shy, so Peter invited her up on stage. Her question was “would he rather be a vampire or a werewolf” he said a vampire and asked her what she would be and she said a werewolf. He joked that he’d outlive her and she would smell bad.

• His favorite scene in Twilight was the baseball scene because he grew up playing baseball and liked that it showed the vampires capabilities. In New moon he liked the stitching scene. He explained how he used to practice stitchine chicken breasts and he was worried if anyone saw his fridge of sewn up chickens they’d think he was psycho or a serial killer. He brought one to set and said “Hey Kristen, check out my chicken” feeling very proud and Kristen jokingly said “Nah, I’d never let you stitch me up.” In Eclipse his fave scene is all the battle stuff. Lot’s of action, hard training, going to the gym, fight trainers and an unspoken competition on set. He explains a day where he worked extra hard with fight training and yoga and the gym and he was in the elevator feeling great and the doors opened and there was Kellan doing push ups – while he waited for the elevator… and he said “ok you beat me”

Malicious Mandy has yet another awesome summary of a Q & A session during the Seattle Twilight Convention. This time it is with New Moon-ers Charlie Bewley and Daniel Cudmore -

• Wolf Pack vs Cullen’s – Dan would rather be Wolf Pack, run shirtless through the forests. Vampires wear running shoes and he jokes about pumping them up “pump pump pump – oops too much swoosh” (old school pump shoes for those of you lost)

• They say as Volturi they are just doing what vampires do, drink blood…. not like the “Vegan-Facinelli-Rubbish” He wouldn’t want to go hunt deer in Italian gear… unless it was Nike Tracksuits, like a Volturi mafia.

• Eclipse Fight Scene was approximately 5 days rehearsing and 5 days filming 12 hour days.

• Daniel would like Edward’s Hair, he pokes fun of his hair and points to the banner. He and Charlie banter about hair.

• Daniel would love to be any character that meant he could work with Will Ferrell, though he thinks it would be hard because he would just laugh the whole time. Charlie would love to play a character that was really deep and emotional… or a spin-off about Demetri.

• Daniel wears contacts already so the Volturi ones weren’t too much trouble, he hates contacts as a whole but wears them everyday. Charlie felt he was instantly dangerous with them on, just like sweet innocent Dakota Fanning.

• Audition process was very fast. Charlie had tried for Marcus also. Daniel had recently lost out to a few roles and had actually auditioned for the “motorcycle guy Bella rides with in Port Angeles” and didn’t even know if he could make it back for the call-back because of a job he was doing but managed to go in thinking he’d be a biker and was actually cast as a vampire and thought “wait – what?” cool!

• Charlie said it was flattering that the Cullen’s wanted to kill him more than any other Volturi and he also discussed how when he auditioned he had almost no hair so he took one little piece and swirled it down, like the old school vampires had the “peak” and he thinks that may have influenced his hair style for the movie. Personally, I adored the hair he was sporting at TwiCon. Rawr.

• For open questions in the end they walked around the crowd. Charlie also acted as Demetri and pretend choked Hillywood Alice. Daniel spoke at the podium for fun and they lounged on the stage.

Malicious Mandy has an awesome summary of Chaske Spencer’s Q&A during the Seattle Twilight Convention this past weekend -

• His Fave part of New Moon wasn’t a part he was in but when Rob & Daniel fight. Also, any part with Michael Sheen, who he idolizes. He said he was so psyched when he met Sheen and finds him to be so powerful an actor. When a fan clarified they wanted to know the fave scene in New Moon that HE was in, he said it was the cliff jumping scene, but credited Chris Weitz with making it look so cool adding, “I’m not that cool”

• When asked about a specific funny moment on set he recalled while rehearsing at the “wolf house” Dreamy Taylor comes to the door to see them all eating and Bella is there and he is supposed to have those sexy eyes… and as he walked up the screen door slammed into his face. Ha Ha.

• If he could trade places with anyone he picks Michael Sheen. He’s a huge fan and has seen all his stuff and appreciates his diversity, calling him an amazing actor with tons of knowledge… a class act.

• His reaction when he found out he had the part was to fall on his knees and thank god! He had been working but hadn’t landed a job and was wondering if he should give up or what.

• He said the audition was fast… often there are multiple call backs and auditions with studio and directors etc but this was quick and he had auditioned for Paul and Jared and when they told him Sam he thought “Who is Sam?” then he read it and was excited.

• He said it was such a secret and he was so excited he didn’t want to have it leak or get in trouble so he didn’t even tell his family. He would go to resturants with the guys in Vancouver and they’d whisper and be excited about it together. He was reading the books but secretly so he wouldn’t be seen with the books, he took the secret so seriously.

Marc Malkin from E! News Online reported that Robert Pattinson is on board for the Hait Telethon.

I just got word that the Twilight star has signed on for Friday’s Hope for Haiti telethon. As of right now, it looks like Rob will be the sole presenter in London with performances by Jay-Z and Bono.

Stateside performers—some announced and others not—will include:

Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Shakira and Bruce Springsteen are among those who will perform live during the two-hour benefit, which will air on all the major television networks (including our very own E!).

Other mega-celebs who will present and/or help in the phone banks are Jennifer Aniston, Jake Gyllenhaal, Brad Pitt, Anna Kendrick, Sandra Bullock, Zac Efron, Bradley Cooper, Renée Zellweger, Chris Pine, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Colin Farrell, Jon Hamm, Gabby Sidibe and Emily Blunt, among many others.

No word yet on Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, but as I was the first to tell you Hollywood’s hottest vampire movie trio is a very wanted group for the telethon because of the impact they would have with young people.

Also on organizers’ wish list are—no surprise—Oprah Winfrey and Angelina Jolie.

Clooney is set to host from Los Angeles with Wyclef John in New York City and CNN newsman Anderson Cooper in Haiti.

As we previously posted, you can find information on how to help at ThinkingofRob.   It is truly devastating and heartbreaking what has happened in Haiti.   It’s inspiring and wonderful that the stars are doing this telethon.
