For those of you who loved the New Moon soundtrack, or for those who like myself want to own every piece of twi memorabilia, here’s some good news.  The Twilight Saga:New Moon will have a soundtrack companion which includes a CD as well as a DVD.  Here are the details:

The story broke today that an official soundtrack companion would be making its way to the marketplace on March 16th, the same day of release for Twilight: The Graphic Novel, Volume 1 and just four days before the release of The Twilight Saga: New Moon, the DVD.

According to Tommy2, whose exclusive it was, the companion will come in the form of CD and DVD, and it’ll boast the following upon its tracklists:

CD
1. Lupe Fiasco – Solar Midnite
2. The Magic Numbers – All I Believe In
3. APM Orchestra – Die Fledermaus – Duettino: Ach, ich darf nicht hin zu dir
4. Eskimo Joe – Thunderclap
5. BB Brunes – Cavalier Noir
6. No Way Out – Sed
7. Ximena Sarinana – Frente Al Mar
8. Jennifer Rostock – Es tut wieder weh
9. Anya Marina – Satellite Heart [Air Mail Remix]

DVD
1. Interview with Chris Weitz and Alex Pastavas
2. Interview with Death Cab For Cutie and Alex Patsavas
3. Death Cab For Cutie – Meet Me On The Equinox (music video)
4. Anya Marina – Satellite Heart (music video)
5. Lupe Fiasco – Solar Midnite (music video)
6. Hurricane Bells – Monsters (music video)

This has been confirmed, but the information does come with a caveat that the track listings on both are subject to change prior to the album’s release.

Note that the artwork for the album has also not been completed just yet. Very exciting, huh?

Exciting…Hale Yea!  Hopefully they change it and add ‘Possibility‘ on there.  I think companion is going to rock, but no word on the price yet.  :(

    The song reminds me of home I grew up in, in MD out in the country. We'd sit out on the porch and listen to music outside during the summer.

    Hi CJean - a couple of these were bonus tracks from the iTunes deluxe version - and at least in the US, the Airmail remix of Satellite heart was available through iTunes if you bought an advanced ticket through Fandango.
