Last fall Summit Entertainment, home of  The Twilight Saga announced that they would be distributing Twilight In Forks: The Saga Of The Real Town alongside the New Moon DVD in 2010.  Well 2010 is here and the New Moon DVD release is right around the corner.  The Twilight In Forks DVD documents life in Forks, Washington.  Restaurants, businesses, the people of Forks, including a woman who indeed lives her life as Alice Cullen(and amazingly favors Alice a bit too much for my liking, Cullen crest and all)  Here are some of the details and what to expect.

The DVD for this documentary will be released the same day as the New Moon DVD, March 20th, and its official description is as follows:

The definitive DVD documenting the town of Forks made famous by the Twilight books and movies. This is a fan’s opportunity to see the town that Stephenie Meyer based her epic teen romance books on. Hear from the real people living their lives in the town fans know and love, including the Chief of Police, the Forks Outfitters’ employee who gets mistaken for Bella, and the vampire transplant who plays the real-life role of Alice. Visit Forks High School, hear self-described Jacob’s grandfather tell the legend of how the Quileutes descended from wolves, and see many more of the people and places that make Forks and La Push the perfect setting for The Twilight Saga.

Didn’t that ‘Alice’ lady freak you out?  Gotta love her though, I mean it’s Alice!  :)    All I know is since joining this site, I’ve spent so much cashola on Twi stuff, now excuse me while I go and pre-order my copy lol.  Twilight In Forks is now available for ore-order via Amazon.

    I'm so glad you're going to Forks! It really is beautiful (I highly recommend hiking out to 2nd beach if it's not raining!)
    The shop is called Leppell's, and it's 130 S Spartan Ave. It's right across from the school.
    Unfortunately, I don't work there anymore, but I still suggest going - it's really a fantastic shop, and you'll find a lot of completely rad Twilight stuff that you wont find anywhere else. It's also the only place I know of that sells Twilight scrapbooking stuff, if you're into that.
    I'll be returning to Forks in early March, and staying for who knows how long lol. Hopefully I get to meet you!

I am starting a scrapbook on everything of the Twilight Saga and I'm sorry youdon't work there anymore I hope I get to meet you too:) oh hey I am a huge tw-hard fan It all started after I finshed the last(seventh book) book of the Harry Potter series and yes I am a Harry Potter fan as well:) and i was desperate LOL:) of finding to something to read and I was in Target one day (2008) and I saw this book with 2 arms sticking out holding an apple and I looked at it and hmmmhmm I will read this and I got New Moon and Eclipse(before Breaking Dawn) all on the same day and the moment Bella uttered those words I have not given it much thought to how I would die I knew this book was a hit:) Stephenie Meyer has made us all feel like a woman again and when I saw Twilight and this god comes strutting across the cafeteria I was stunned at how goregous Rob is:) and now the rest is history I bonded with this fictional family and what an impact it had me:) thank you again for the address! I am looking so forward to going! Leah=)

    First things first.
    Diana - Summit didn't come up with the idea. York Baur and Jason Brown made this documentary on their own, and then as it became more and more promoted, Summit picked it up. I just want to make sure credit goes to York and Jason, because they deserve it.

    Secondly *big sigh* I'm not some crazy obsessed weird fan, I promise. That's the story that all the flame-zines are selling, but it's not true. Until the documentary comes out, I will say no comment as to what I am - but really. I'm not deserving of a straight jacket.
    I'm a normal (depending on how you define normal. I wear rainbow toesocks and have a cupcake tattoo on my left foot... *cough*) 19 year old girl from a small boring town who took advantage of an opportunity that was presented to her.

    Ok, I've been to Forks and met the Alice look alike, even took my pic with her. She is not "creepy" and was actually a really sweet girl that works at the flower/gift shop. You guys have to realize the people in the town of Forks are milking this Twilight thing for all they can, because it won't be this popular forever. If I lived there I would! Everyone there has their own piece of Twilight one way or another. Food places have menu items that are named something Twilight-y, and ever store in that little town sells some type of Twilight merchandise. It's actually kind of fun. And La Push is awesome, it's just as Stephanie describes in the books even though she didn't go there before she wrote them. Definitely a fun place to visit for any Twilight fan.

    well this twi-hard fan is going to Forks! I have always wanted to go SO badly and now it is coming true:) yeah I get that the people of Forks do alot of twilight related stuff and thats cool that you goe to meet the girl that dresses like Alice and yeah it will be fun to see all of the twi-related stuff:) my best friend and I are going this summer I will take tons pics anything twilight related and I have this Twilight Guide to Forks book and it is my bible of places to go too and addresses of these places and there is motel and it is all twilight theme there is a room that is a Edward room and a Jacob room guess who gets the Edward room:) LOL:) my friend just looks at me like I am assuming you want the Edward room and these rooms are pictures(framed) and one is of Edward/Rob and the other is of Jacob/Taylor and my friend can have the Jacob room and I will have Edward room coz he is MIIIINNNEEEE ha ha ha ha ha!:)
