“I wondered to myself why no one else had seen him standing so far away, before he was suddenly, impossibly saving my life. With chagrin, I realized the probable cause-no one else was as aware of Edward as I always was. No one else watched him the way I did.”
I cannot believe that 6 weeks have passed and Edward is behaving this way. Okay, I get it. I get that it is best this way, but sheesh! You cannot save someone’s life then simply cut them off and refuse speak to them again. And to make matters worse they sit right next to each other in Biology. This chapter begins with Bella’s dreams of Edward Cullen. Basically every night she dreams of him. But when she gets to school the reality is…Edward Cullen has seemed to cut Bella off completely and there is zero contact between the two.
Pg.69-70The Cullens and the Hales sat at the same table, as always, not eating, talking only among themselves. None of them, especially Edward, glanced my way anymore. When he sat next to me in class, as far from me as the table would allow, he seemed totally unaware of my presence. Only now and then, when his fists would suddenly ball up-skin stretched even whiter over the bones-did I wonder if he wasn’t quite as oblivious as he appeared. I wanted very much to talk to him, and the day after the accident I tried. The last time I’d seen him, outside the ER, we’d both been so furious. But he had in fact saved my life, no matter how he’d done it. And, overnight, the heat of my anger faded into awed gratitude. He was already seated when I got to Biology, looking straight ahead. “Hello, Edward,” I said pleasantly, to show him I was going to behave myself. He turned his head a fraction toward me without meeting my gaze, nodded once, and then looked the other way. Aww Edward! He can’t even look at her. *sigh* And that was the last contact I had with him, though he was there, a foot away from me, every day. I watched him sometimes, unable to stop myself-from a distance, though, in the cafeteria or parking lot. I watched as his golden eyes grew perceptibly darker day by day. But in class I gave no more notice that he existed than he showed toward me. I was miserable. And the dreams continued. [click to continue…]

We at NewMoonMovie.org, EclipseMovie.org & BreakingDawnMovie.org would like to wish Chris Weitz a very happy birthday!!!
Here’s a little bio on Chris:

He is best known for his work with his brother, Paul Weitz, on the comedy films American Pie and About a Boy, as well as directing the film adaptation of the novel The Golden Compass and the film adaptation of New Moon from the series of Twilight books.
Weitz was born in New York City, New York, the son of actress Susan Kohnerand novelist/fashion designer John Weitz. His brother is Paul Weitz. Paul Kohner and Mexican actress Lupita Tovarwere his maternal grandparents. His grandmother, Lupita, starred in Santa, Mexico‘s first talkie in 1932. I love Chris the most for directing one of my favorite movies Down to Earth and for bringing The Volturi to life in an impeccable way.
A Twilight inspired cafe has been spotted in Harajuku, Japan. According to Gossip Dance the cafe is only open for a limited time, and even features some of Edward Cullen’s classic lines from the Twilight Saga, in Japanese, on the walls!

Chapter3: Phenomenon
“Edward Cullen was standing four cars down from me, staring at me in horror. His face stood out from a sea of faces, all frozen in the same mask of shock. But of more immediate importance was the dark blue van that was skidding, tires locked and squealing against the brakes, spinning wildly across the ice of the parking lot. It was going to hit the back corner of my truck, and I was standing between them. I didn’t even have time to close my eyes.”
Bella awakens to a snow-covered Forks. She eats her breakfast and heads to school. Bella pulls into the parking lot of Forks High, surprised at how well her truck handled itself on the icy roads and notices why. She steps out of the truck and notices that Charlie has added snow chains to the tires. Bella actually has an emotional moment while looking at Charlie’s display of affection. Bella is so moved that she barely noticed that an out of control van is speeding in her direction.
Pg. 56 Just before I heard the shattering crunch of the van folding around the truck bed, something hit me, hard, but not from the direction I was expecting. My head cracked against the icy blacktop, and I felt something solid and cold pinning me to the ground. Two long, white hands shot out protectively in front of me, and the van shuddered to a stop a foot from my face, the large hands fitting providentially into a deep dent in the side of the van’s body. Chapter 2:Open Book
“All morning I was dreading lunch, fearing his bizarre glares. Part of me wanted to confront him and demand to know what his problem was. While I was lying sleepless in my bed, I even imagined what I would say. But I knew myself too well to think I would really have the guts to do it.”
Well the mysterious and emotionally unstable Edward Cullen has disappeared. Bella is sleepless in Seattle, and to Bella none of this makes any sense.
Pg. 29-36 After the first couple of days of being on edge about the now absent Edward Cullen, Bella begins to settle into her daily routine quite nicely. She begins to remember names and recognize faces. Charlie being the bachelor that he is, had basically nothing stocked in the kitchen so off to the market Bella goes and buys groceries for the house. Charlie is welcomed home to a lovely dinner of steak, potatoes, and a salad made by Bella, but they eat in an awkward silence. Bella finally responds to her mother’s numerous emails by exaggerating her first week in Forks. [click to continue…]
The Chicago Tribune interviewed Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke recently to talk about her new film Red Riding Hood. Catherine briefly talked about Shiloh Fernandez as Edward, but Kristen Stewart and Shiloh didn’t have the instant chemistry.
Q: Who are the men competing for Red Riding Hood’s affections?A: One of them is Peter, played by Shiloh Fernandez. She feels he is her soul mate, but he’s had more of a troubled past. They love each other but that’s not the way her mother wants Amanda’s life to go. She wants her daughter to have a better life and arranges a marriage with Henry, who’s played by Max Irons, the son of Jeremy Irons. He’s a very striking-looking kid, as is Shiloh, who’s very soulful. Shiloh was my runner-up for Edward in “Twilight” but he and Kristen [Stewart] didn’t have the instant chemistry lock that is now well-known.
