Catherine briefly talked about Shiloh Fernandez as Edward, but Kristen Stewart and Shiloh didn’t have the instant chemistry.

Q: Who are the men competing for Red Riding Hood’s affections?A: One of them is Peter, played by Shiloh Fernandez. She feels he is her soul mate, but he’s had more of a troubled past. They love each other but that’s not the way her mother wants Amanda’s life to go. She wants her daughter to have a better life and arranges a marriage with Henry, who’s played by Max Irons, the son of Jeremy Irons. He’s a very striking-looking kid, as is Shiloh, who’s very soulful. Shiloh was my runner-up for Edward in “Twilight” but he and Kristen [Stewart] didn’t have the instant chemistry lock that is now well-known.

Ah, the chemistry.

Well all I can say is that, I’m so glad the chemistry wasn’t there because Rob is excellent.
I thank Kristen everyday for giving us this gift that is Rob.

Only CH would know on that feeling of instant chemistry she saw in her bedroom because Rob was already altered by Kristen when he saw her in, Into the Wild.
Catherine is a director and artist in what she directs and love her for it!
I hope she can direct another movie with Rob and Kristen-how cool would that be?

Rob went into that audition already having a crush on Kristen…it wasn’t hard for him to have ‘chemistry’. And once KS picked up on it…”FIREWORKS!!!” ♥ I knew those two would be together as soon as I saw their 1st interview together…

Just think how things would have turned out if Shiloh had gotten the part of Edward? Huh…
