The werewolves! The werewolf cast Chaske Spencer (aka Sam), Alex Meraz (aka Paul), and Kiowa Gordon (aka Embry) all looked gorgeous on the red carpet at the New Moon Premiere last night in Los Angeles.

Alex Meraz (aka Paul) was a guest on the Rachael Ray show today.   Alex surprised three lucky fans who got to meet the actor.   Alex talks with Rachael about receiving the role as Paul and how his wife was more excited about him being on the Rachael Ray show than getting the part in the Twilight Saga.

Alex, who plays the werewolf Paul in the new movie, explains that it was almost serendipitous that he got the role. “Everything was just aligned,” he says. “It was on my birthday when I went to audition. It was on January 10th and that was the biggest full moon of the year. And then I had these hawks that were always circling around me within the two weeks that I was waiting to get word!”

Alex tells Rachael that he’s grateful to be part of such a successful series, and that his wife Kim and 19-month old son Somak help keep him grounded. In fact, he admits that his wife is a big fan of Rachael’s. “So she screamed louder about me being on this show than me getting Twilight!” Alex shares.

Ah, I loved this interview with Alex!  Love Rachael Ray too! I loved it when Rachael said this about his wife Kim, who has all the Rachael Ray cookware and cookbooks, “She’s going to get a whole lot more now.”   LOL!!

New pictures of New Moon-ers Christian Serratos, Edi Gathegi, Alex Meraz, Chaske Spencer, Bronson Pelletier,  and Kiowa Gordon at the Nordstrum in Canoga Park, CA.

They are currently in midst of the New Moon Cast Tour, and they look like they are all having a great time!

The nationwide kicked off last night and will run until November 19th. Fans will treated with performances by several bands featured on the New Moon soundtrack including Death Cab for Cutie, Anya Marina, Sea Wolf, and Band of Skulls.

The New Moon Cast’s next stop? Tonight (Friday, November 6) at the Hollywood & Highland Center Hot Topic Store in Los Angeles.

Who’s expected to be there? Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed, Jamie Campbell Bower, Alex, Kiowa, Ashley Greene, Elizabeth Reaser, and Chaske.

Some lucky fans got to spend Halloween with the New Moon castat Harrah’s in Atlantic City Halloween night with Alex Meraz (aka Paul) Chaske Spencer (aka Sam) and Edi Gathegi (aka Laurent).

All the guys look exceptionally gorgeous but none were in costumes….come on guys it was Halloween!   Guests had the option to hire cabanas and hot tubs…..I know who I would have had in my cabana and he wouldn’t have left all night…maybe that’s why they weren’t wearing any costumes as they would have just had to have taken them off!

Alex Meraz is this weeks Sexiest Man of the week!!!  The video is repeated for some reason so start watching at 1.05.

Hugh Jackman better enjoy having the crown of being People Sexiest Man of 2009 because if I have anything to do with it Alex Meraz will be grabbing that crown next year!!  But Alex why did you keep the shirt on – TAKE IT OFF!  Just walk around shirtless all the time you must be used to the cold by now….or I can come help keep you warm!
