New pictures of New Moon-ers Christian Serratos, Edi Gathegi, Alex Meraz, Chaske Spencer, Bronson Pelletier,  and Kiowa Gordon at the Nordstrum in Canoga Park, CA.

They are currently in midst of the New Moon Cast Tour, and they look like they are all having a great time!

The nationwide kicked off last night and will run until November 19th. Fans will treated with performances by several bands featured on the New Moon soundtrack including Death Cab for Cutie, Anya Marina, Sea Wolf, and Band of Skulls.

The New Moon Cast’s next stop? Tonight (Friday, November 6) at the Hollywood & Highland Center Hot Topic Store in Los Angeles.

Who’s expected to be there? Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed, Jamie Campbell Bower, Alex, Kiowa, Ashley Greene, Elizabeth Reaser, and Chaske.

Christian Serratos spent the afternoon at the Valarie Salon in Beverly Hills and looked absolutely stunning as she  walked out with a new lighter hair do.

Twilight Saga humans:  Anna Kendrick, Michael Welch, Justin Chon and Christian Serratos gave a superb interview where they talked about filming New Moon and working with Chris Weitz:

Unlike Twilight, which was shot in Portland, you shot New Moon in Vancouver. What was that like?

Justin: The weather’s actually been better here. Portland was very, very, very cold and rainy. It’s a little bit nicer here.

Anna: One of the freaky things about shooting New Moon in a different location than Portland was the re-creation of things, like the high school parking lot. It was like déjà vu because we were in a different country but they completely recreated the parking lot from the school we shot at before.

You also got a new director. What was it like working with Chris Weisz?

Michael: Chris was really great. Catherine [Hardwicke] was wonderful too, but they’re just totally different in terms of their style and their process. And I think that as a result, you’re going to end up with a film that just feels very different. I think that Chris made more of a conscious effort to have a visual cohesiveness in terms of how the film is going to look and feel with the vampires, the werewolves and the humans. Visually, it’s more stylistic. And as far as the way he likes to work on set, he’s just very calm and very clear-headed and intelligent. He knows what he wants and puts a lot into the preparation so by the time we get to the set it’s all sort of mapped out for us.

Christian: He’s really awesome. He’s very well-organized, well-spoken, fun and carefree – simultaneously. It’s incredible.

If you weren’t playing humans, which would you prefer to play: a vampire or a werewolf?

Anna: I would personally rather be a werewolf since they seem to get to have a lot more fun. The vampires are very cool, but they have to be very calm and collected all the time. The werewolves get to let loose a little bit more.

Michael: I’d much rather play a vampire. Being a vampire would be cool, I think, for the first 100 years or so. It’d be fun to be able to play because vampires are just too cool; they’re just sexy and interesting and complicated.

Christian: I’d play a wolf. I’d play Leah, ’cause she’s sassy.

New Moon human pal Christian Serratos was at a Nylon party last night in Hollywood and Radar had a chance to quiz the actress on what it was like to film New Moon.

“It was an epic experience and so massive,” She explained at the Nylon Magazine party on Monday night at Hollywood’s Mondrian Hotel. “I didn’t expect it. But we all get along so well. We film and get our work done, and then we all get together, we go to dinner, we have fun, we’re all around the same age so we just mesh really well.

She also says “hell if I know” to the Q of whether Rob and Kristen are dating.

In a recent interview with MTV, Christian Serratos, who plays Angela Webber in New Moon, talked about how Chris Weitz was able to make the cafeteria in New Moon look the exact same as in Twilight. They also discuss something of the utmost importance: Team Edward or Team Jacob -

MTV: What do you have in your “Twilight” clothes collection?

Serratos: I have a lot of “Twilight” gear. I love the hoodies that say “vampires” and “werewolves,” but I refuse to get one because I can’t choose; I have to have them both. I have the Team Edward T-shirt, but I also have Team Jacob.

MTV: Why is there no “Team Human” stuff?

Serratos: That’s what I’m saying! I think we should take it into our own hands.

MTV: What kind of merchandise would you like to see for Angela, Mike and the other humans?

Serratos: Probably it would be an imitation of my glasses? … [It would be easy] going to a convention where you have to dress up, and you’re like “Oh, I am dressed up!” “No you’re not!” “Yes I am. I’m a human!”

Christian Serratos, who plays Bella’s friend Angela in New Moon, talks a bit about the craziness as she arrived on the set in Vancouver to film New Moon–

IESB: What’s it been like, this time around, to have all these fans around the set, every time you’re filming?

Christian: I remember going to set for the first day, and I wasn’t going to film, I was going to talk to hair and make-up, and meet Chris for the first time. I got out of the car and the A.D. came up to me and introduced herself, and she had an umbrella. It was actually hot in Vancouver, and they put umbrellas over you on modeling shoots when it’s really hot out. I was like, “Oh, you don’t have to do that. It’s not that bad out.” And, she was like, “No, it’s for the paparazzi,” and I was like, “Oh, my God, is that really how it’s going to be this time? Seriously?” Every time any one of the cast members went anywhere, they had to have guys with umbrellas around them because there were that many paparazzi. Just going outside and seeing dozens of people with signs, as if it’s a concert, I felt like Duran Duran. It was weird.
