MTV.com has a interview with NECA previewing the new sparkling Edward action figure, the shirtless Jacob action figure, and the *gasps* Jasper action figure!

In the interview they also state that there will indeed be a Rosalie and Victoria action figure this year. AND we should expect to see another Jasper action figure (could it be Jasper in his UNIFORM!?!?! OMJ!). These new figures are due out sometime in May.

OMJ! I would give anything for that Jasper action figure!! I haven’t seen it anywhere!

CNN.com has a new article discussing whether or not the new movie Wolfman can beat out Vampires and become the next ‘hot’ thing.

In the article they also discuss Taylor Lautner and New Moon -

Until Taylor Lautner beefed up and began walking around shirtless in “New Moon,” there wasn’t a chance in the underworld that werewolves could steal pop culture’s rabid affection for vampires. But now that moviegoers’ appetites have been whetted for this particularly hairy breed of supernatural beast, perhaps the new horror movie “The Wolfman,” starring Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins, can help the myth finally step out from the, er, non-shadow of vampires after all.

n the past 30 years, there have been a number of films dedicated to the frightening — and sometimes hilarious — things that can happen when under the werewolf curse, yet the genre has never soared into popularity. We’re officially past “New Moon” frenzy, and werewolves haven’t exactly shown up in TV series, novels and other movies the same way vampirism has since “Twilight” and its cohorts left their mark.

“Vampires have always been more popular because there’s a romantic element,” Slantmagazine.com film critic Nick Schager said. “They’re striking, dashing, and there are sexual components to the legend.”

The werewolf, on the other hand, is not only plagued by a “cheesiness” factor that happens when the special effects are poor, Schager said, the myth itself is also decidedly less romantic.

Even Lautner’s character, whose houndish transformation does retain some elements of the werewolf myth, turns into a wolf only when the undead come around, making him a somewhat safer choice for his love interest.

On top of that, the “New Moon” wolf men seem to become more attractive once their supernatural gene kicks in, and in typical werewolf genre films, “you don’t get to be the good-looking, debonair hunk from ‘True Blood,’ ” Schager said. “It’s all about losing control and turning into a beast.”

IMO – Wolfman will not destroy Vampire fever. That’s all I have to say about that.

The New Jacob Black Doll!

MTV has the exclusive on the new Jacob Black doll by Tonner!

Last week when it was announced that Taylor Lautner got cast as “Stretch Armstrong,” we made note that with that project (and “Max Steel”) he was “quite literally becoming a boy toy.” Well, we’re back now to reinforce that claim with an exclusive first look at the brand new Jacob Black doll!

The limited edition Jacob action figure, which comes a few (long-awaited!) months after Tonner debuted its Laurent, Victoria, James and “Hungry Edward” dolls during last July’s Comic-Con, will be shapeshifting released this summer. The cost of the 17-inch-tall, hard plastic and vinyl figure will be $149.99 and there are only a limited number (3000 to be exact!) being made, so Twilighters, this is a chance to own a piece of cinematic history!

Er,  $149.99?

This is a collector’s item and different from the Mattel’s Jacob Black Barbie Doll for $24.99, which has less clothes. :D

What do you guys think?  Do you like the Jacob Barbie doll better?

Here are some more New Moon trading cards of Taylor Lautner (Jacob),  Kristen Stewart (Bella), Jackson Rathbone (Jasper), Kiowa Gordon (Embry), and Nikki Reed (Rosalie).

Sorry if you have already seen these.  I have a few New Moon trading cards, but I haven’t seen that Jacob,  Jasper,  Rosalie or Embry (RIMR’s man).  Rosalie’s eyes!  I’m mesmerized!  Check out the rest of the cards here!

Awesome New Moon poster that was recently released via Tribute magazine! I’m honestly not sure as to which one I like better — the official one with Edward/Bella/Jacob, or this one? At least Jacob doesn’t look like he is going to punch Bella in this one! LOL

According to Dreadcentral.com, NECA toys just released 4 new Twilight Saga: New Moon action figures.  A new sculpt for Edward, a sparkling variant of that figure, shirtless Jacob and Jasper.

You can preorder your New Moon  shirtless Jacob, Edward, Sparkle Edward or Jasper here!   These new action figures won’t hit store until April.

Um…….oooooookay.   Jacob looks burned.  I need to see the Edward doll without the shirt on.  HA!  And Jasper….Is that Jasper? LOL!   They should have made Jasper with that face where he’s attacking Bella at the birthday party!!!!

Bean and LMHale neeeeeeeeeeeed the Jasper doll!!  Hahahahaha!

What do you guys think of the new New Moon action figures?

I laughed so hard watching this video! The fan made video and song uses the music from Taylor Swift’s You Belong With Me, changed the lyrics and made it  from Jacob’s perspective.

Dreaming about the day that you’ll wake up and find .. you hate Vampires and Love Canines ..

LMAO!

[Thanks, Sonum!]
