Twilight star, Rob Pattinson along with the rest of the cast of hit vampire movie flick Twilight are sinking their teeth into a new role. This role, however, is more sweet and savory.

Much to surprise of many, the Twilight team has created a special item that will be auctioned off at the Icare4autism 2010: Cocktail Gala. The money raised from the item will go to funding autism research and education conducted by the International Center for Autism Research and Education (Icare4autism).

What is the item?

The official item to be donated is an EXCLUSIVE Twilight Limited Edition Movie Masterpiece Collage. This fabulous item is made up of memorabilia that is out of production, collectible snippets and things unavailable to the general public.

About the Event

The Icare4autism 2010: Cocktail Gala, will be held on Thursday April 15th, from 6pm-10pm, at the Florida Aquarium; 777 Channelside Drive in Tampa, Florida. Tickets for the event go on sale on the afternoon of Tuesday, February 16th, 2010.

In the interview they also state that there will indeed be a Rosalie and Victoria action figure this year. AND we should expect to see another Jasper action figure (could it be Jasper in his UNIFORM!?!?! OMJ!). These new figures are due out sometime in May.

Hi,
I recently began reading Stephenie Meyer: The Unauthorized Biography of the Creator of the Twilight Saga by Marc Shapiro.  I was pleasantly surprised to discover that www.newmoonmovie.org is cited within the text as a source of an interview with Stephenie Meyer where she addresses whether or not the character of Bella is based on herself. The website is cited on page 52 of the book and the entire passage is as follows:
“An issue that had her doing a bit of self-analysis was whether the character of Bella was really Stephenie trying to live a life she did not have through the character and this fictional world. In an interview posted on www.newmoonmovie.org, Stephenie addressed that issue. “Bella and I think completely differently,” she explained. “When I went to write this, it wasn’t something I wrote about. But I think it’s really natural that I created a character that let me live a life I didn’t know because why would I write something I’ve already experienced.” Stephenie conceded in the interview that while she did bring a few things from her life experience to the character, Bella was much more mature than she was at that age. “I was really sheltered and she had to be a grown-up all of the time. I kind of admire that when I see that in people around me.””
I haven’t finished reading the book yet, but noted that www.newmoonmovie.org is also listed on page 211 at the end of the book in the list of sources. I am an avid follower of www.newmoonmovie.org and was extremely excited to see it mentioned in this book! Attached are pictures of the pages where I have found www.newmoonmovie.org cited so far.

Circling back around on what she started, really (at least where Twilightstars are concerned), Rachelle Lefevre has gone from blood donor  to phone answerer – all for the cause of relief to the victims of the Haiti earthquake disaster.

However, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart will not be making an appearance there.  According to Gossip Cop, Kristen would love to be involved, but will be occupied at the Sundance Film Festival.  Taylor’s rep confirmed with Gossip Cop that he will not be attending as well.
