MTV has a little preview of what to expect from Comic-Con this year, including the heavily anticipated New Moon panel–
“New Moon” (Thursday at 1:45 p.m., Hall H) — As anyone who owns the DVD has seen in the bonus features, “Twilight” mania erupted last year at Comic-Con, as the seemingly little-known film inspired die-hards to line up in record numbers. Now, San Diego is ready for “New Moon” mania, and our own Hollywood Crush will even be embedding a reporter to camp out with the Twilighters, providing up-to-the-minute experiences while waiting in line. As your home for all things “Twilight,” you can trust MTV to be all over this panel like Jasper Hale on Bella’s bloody finger. The cast of “Astro Boy” and “Sorority Row” will also be participating in the panel, answering such probing questions as “When will Robert Pattinson walk onstage?”
So, which of you NMM.org readers is going to be at Comic-Con this year?
Comic-Con 2009 Preview: ‘New Moon,’ ‘Iron Man 2′ And More
New Moon will be showing up early in, of all places, Knoxville TN.
The dawn of a new “Twilight” will bring star power to Knoxville this November when “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” the sequel to the 2008 breakout film “Twilight,” is premiered at Regal Cinemas’ Pinnacle 18 at Turkey Creek in advance of its scheduled Nov. 20 release.
Although confirmation of the Knoxville premiere of the movie is set, several key details are yet to be determined, including ticket prices, just which star or stars of the movie will come to town, and even the date of the event.
“I’m hoping to have the details pinned down within 30 to 60 days,” said Greg Dunn, chief operating officer of Regal Entertainment Group.

If you’re like me, you’re taking note of the liveblogging going on right now of the Apple Worldwide Developer’s Conference, where they’ve already announced new laptops, and may be introducing a new iPhone as well.
For a new book buying app for the iPhone, they just used a passage from New Moon in the demonstration!
Never-before-seen clips will be shown at the MTV Movie Awards for the first time ever this year, and it will be from three very-high-profile movies: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and New Moon.
Executive producer Mark Burnett notes that the hype for New Moon will topple the rest–
But Burnett knows that even “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” and “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” can’t live up to the hype surrounding “New Moon.” “The biggest sneak peek of all [is] ‘Twilight,’” he said. ” ‘New Moon’ are allowing a sneak peek, and it’s being introduced by Robert [Pattinson] and Kristen [Stewart], so that’s huge news around the world right now. … The anticipation of those clips is going to be huge this year.”
Burnett feels that the MTV Movie Awards is the perfect place to air the first clips from “New Moon,” and his daughter tends to agree with him: “I have a 13-year-old, and when she found out a couple weeks ago there was going to be a ‘Twilight’ sneak peek, she said, ‘Oh, my God! Everybody’s going to want to see that.’ Young girls live for ‘Twilight.’ The MTV Movie Awards is a correct venue for ‘Twilight.’ It’s clearly something millions of Americans want.”
Don’t forget to vote for Twilight in all the categories it’s nominated for in the MTV Movie Awards–tomorrow is the last day!
EW’s new article about New Moon with exclusive pictures from the Vancouver set has hit their website. You’ll definitely want to check out the whole thing, including this–
One of director Weitz’s creative challenges is Edward’s long absence in the novel: ”Rob was the first guy to say to me, ‘You know, you don’t really need to have too much of me in this film.’ I don’t want him too present, so his apparition will be a subtle, flitting effect — clearly a reflection of Bella’s will and desire to see him.”

There is an article about New Moon in the issue of Entertainment Weekly hitting newsstands soon, and it has some amazing never-before-seen pictures from the movie shoot in Vancouver. The juicy pics include Edward kissing Bella, Laurent in a purple jacket touching Bella’s face, and Bella’s dress with the papercut scene!
Be on the lookout to buy your copy, as it looks to be a doozy of an article!

- The winnner wins a trip to Italy and a opportunity to take part in the movie.
- The trip days are 26.5.-29.5. , but they say the shooting days are 26.5.-27.5.! I don’t think that they will shoot just 2 days..
- There are only 30 winners around the world
- The winner has to be 15 or over and the winner can take a adult with her/him
- It’s good if the winner spekas English or Swedish beacuse the person who will guide them is Norwegian

Moviesonline.ca is reporting that Eagle Pictures is working on a cross-film promotion with Push and New Moon: (auto-translated from Italian):
You can win a tour of the set of the upcoming Twilight New Moon if you are Italian and go see Push. When you buy a ticket to PUSH in Italy you apparently get a vouture of some sort which enters you to win a tour of the set of Twilight New Moon.
The contest is being conducted by Eagle Pictures but that is all we know at this point. Tickets must be purchased between March 27th and April 5th.
I think “vouture” is the French word for “voucher”. What an amazing prize for our Italian friends!
UPDATE: There is more info at the Official Eagle Pictures page for Push–basically you’ll mail in your ticket stub for a chance to win.
