NewMoonMovie.org reader Jackie purchased the new edition of the New Moon book – Team Jacob Edition. As we previously reported the new edition was to go on sale today! Which also comes with a pull- out poster!
As you’ve noticed, both LMCullen and I have been writing for NMM.org and EM.org recently. To make sure we get all your juicy tidbits and can credit you properly, we’re setting up a brand new email address to send all New Moon and Eclipse (and Breaking Dawn.…) story suggestions to. Starting immediately, send all email news tips for both NMM.org and EM.org to TwiTipLine at gmail dot com.
This way, whoever is writing the news will get your tip and we’ll be able to credit you!
In other big news….we’re looking for a new guest writer! LMCullen has done an amazing job helping out with the posts as I work on behind-the-scenes stuff, but with the impending release of New Moon and the action happening with Eclipse, we could definitely use more help! If you’re interested in joining the team, read on…
TwiCrack recently blogged asking their readers what they are going to wear when they go and watch New Moon.
Since its been a kinda slow news day, I thought I may bring it up to our NewMoonMovie.org readers! Are any of you going to dress up as some of the Twilight Saga characters? If so, who? Anything in particular you plan on wearing?
The picture attached to this post is a pic I took a few months back of my Billabong Hannah Jacket (Will previously posted it). Which I totally plan on wearing it to the New Moon opening! Along w/ skinny jeans, converse sneakers (LMAO), and my “Vampires Prefer Brunettes” t-shirt OR my Team Edward shirt (if my BFF gets it to me in time!!)
How early do you guys plan on going to the movie and waiting in line? I wanna show up those HP fans. I plan on being there when the mall opens – 10am!

She’s cute .. and funny … pretty awesome … and just completely Batman awesome (ok, maybe we won’t go that far!)
That’s right fellow NMM.org readers – its me! LMCullen! I have been given the amazing opportunity to guest blog here on NewMoonMovie.org!
I don’t think I have ever been so excited to be a part of something so absolutely wonderful. I love this community that we all belong to on NMM.org. And I truly hope that I can help make NMM.org fantastic and even more kick #$% (can’t have me mod’ing myself! lol).
Any questions? Ask away!!
This is IS the best site, and will continue to be the best!
Alex Meraz isn’t the only New Moon star who said hello to readers of NMM.org from the London Comic-Con: actor Justin Chon, who plays Bella’s friend Eric Yorkie, made time to give this awesomely quirky greeting as well.
And after the break: check out a scan from Beckett Teen Sensations Twilight magazine, where they named NMM.org one of the Top 5 Twilight Sites on the web!
We’ve changed the look of the site–what do you think? It adds the revamped images of Jacob, Bella and Edward from New Moon as well as some red banners to symbolize the fateful St. Marcus festival in Volterra, Italy. Post your feedback here!
This is your captain speaking. You may have noticed some hiccups on the site during the last few days, and for good reason. We’ve been moving to a bigger, badder, stronger, faster server that should make your page load noticeably faster. All the kinks should be worked out, but if you notice anything odd post a note here!
I’ve had some very common questions by email lately that I’d like to address–
What happened to theNew Moonteaser that was supposed to be on theTwilightBlu-Ray that was released on May 5th? -Actually, the Twilight Blu-Ray has been out since the same day as the DVD back in March. I’ve had my Target version of the Blu-Ray, with the same promise of a New Moon teaser on it, since then. It’s the Amazon Ultimate Edition of the Blu-Ray which is new as of May 5th, and though I have not seen the case, I supsect it is quite similar when listing the New Moon teaser among the bonus features.
Ok, so theNew Moonteaser wasn’t released in March OR May, what gives tough guy? -The teaser will be released via BD-Live. I use a PS3 for playing Blu-rays. It has an internet connection. Many Blu-rays I have rented have BD-Live features. As the name suggests, it is “Live” content–meaning it is not accessed from the disc, but what happens is the disc loads a tricked-up web browser and downloads the BD-Live features from a server off the internet. It’s basically interactive website content that can only be accessed through the disc.
But when is theNew Moonteaser coming out on BD-Live? I NEED TO SEE IT NOW! -I do too. I have no 100% confirmed word on this. However, reader Melissa did send me an email reply she says was received in response to this very query to Summit prez Erik Feig:
We’re aiming to have the teaser ready in mid-summer. Sometime June or July. As soon as it’s ready! The movie’s looking great so far.
Sounds about right, and let’s consider it the official word till we hear different, shall we?
Will this website die out whenEclipsecomes out? Where will I get my fix of fresh dailyTwilightgoodness? I may perish! -Worry not, grasshopper. I had little foresight when I began this site–it was something I was doing for fun and I was going to be elated if a few people saw it, much less the multitude that visit it now. That said, yes, it’s become quite fun hasn’t it?
Count on EclipseMovie.org and BreakingDawnMovie.org–I’ve actually already started on some of the prelims of getting the Eclipse site up which you can take a look at if you like, it’s in a very rough and broken shape and the graphics and posts are just placeholders, but I promise to let everyone know on here when it’s open for reading.
The votes are in, and I’m just as humbled as I can be to win first prize for both “Best Twilight Fansite” and “Best Twilight Blog” in this year’s Dazzle Awards! Thanks so much to everyone that voted–I hope to bring you the best in Twilight coverage for a very long time to come!
Also, a shout out to the runner ups in both categories–any of which could have taken the prize as well: Twilight20somethings, HisGoldenEyes, and the (recently beautifully redesigned) Twilight Lexicon. I’m honored to be in such great company! Check out the full list of winners over at the 2009 Dazzle Awards site.
Oh, and don’t hate, but the news updates will probably be pretty light over the holiday weekend. Happy Easter, Passover, or Gorge-on-Candy day everyone!
