Alex Meraz Peter Facinelli Justin Chon London Comic-Con

Maxine sends in the above pics and writes about her experience at London Comic-Con this weekend, and was particularly chuffed to meet New Moon wolf Alex Meraz–

The guy is insanely nice, I was so nervous about meeting him but he just gave me a cuddle and signed my picture. We chatted a little bit about the wolf transformation and then said goodbye. It was dead sweet, and I’m 100% team paul now. Goodbye team Switzerland! Also got a cuddle from Peter although due to him missing his flight for saturday we weren’t aloud to take pictures. And Justin is lovely aswell. He was chatting with all the fans and posing for every photo. He even wrote “I don’t just surf the internet!” on the photo with his autograph lol

TeamSpaceHeaters has some vids from the event, “….including someone asking Peter how he felt about being a vampire DILF!”

After the break, several more pictures of the New Moon guys at London Comic-Con from TSH and a vid. Don’t forget to check out Alex Meraz saying hello to the readers of NMM.org!

Peter Facinelli Vampire Baseball The Sunday Paper from Atlanta has a new interview with Peter Facinelli where he dishes on a scene he’s really looking forward to in New Moon

Are there any scenes from the books that you hope make it into the films? For “New Moon,” there’s a scene with Bella (Kristin Stewart) where I stitch her up. I was excited to shoot that scene because it was a pivotal scene. It kind of sets up the whole reason why Rob’s character doesn’t want to change her into a vampire. I hope it stays in the movie because I feel like it’s essential and it’s a really nice scene for Carlisle and Bella; it’s an intimate thing. It’s a scene where a lot of information is being given and it shows another side of Carlisle, a soft side of him that I like. I’d be bummed if that was out.

Read more about Peter’s Twitter impersonator–let’s call him Peter Fakeinelli–as well as what it’s like to be photographed by the paparazzi on the Sunday Paper website.

[thanks LMCullen, thanks to Brittany for the pic from Vampire Baseball!]

Vampire Baseball Alex meraz michael welch peter facinelli

New Moon stars Alex Meraz, Peter Facinelli, Mike Welch and others attended the Vampire Baseball game in Portland, Oregon today. NMM.org reader Cristin sends in these awesome pics and has this to say–

I got Peter to jump over the fence and take a picture with Susie, one of the women who works at PGE park, then he stayed and took pictures and signed my copy of Eclipes. Then I yelled out to Mike and told him what Peter did and said that he should do the same thing….so he did!! Alex (Paul) was break dancing and just about all the cast took the time to walk around to all the sections and let people take a TON of pictures of them. But I think only our section got a star to jump over the railing. This has to be the most AWESOME cast ever!!!!

Peter FacinelliNew Moon vamp doctor Peter Facinelli has a new interview where he talks about playing baseball in advance of tomorrow’s Vampire Baseball event in Portland, he also dishes on Eclipse, New Moon and why he chose to star in Twilight

RO: Tell us about the baseball game tomorrow?
PF: We’re going to test our vampire baseball skills in front of a large crowd and I think a lot of people are going to find out that a lot of the cast member s don’t know how to throw a ball and they just made us look good. The Make-A-Wish Foundation asked if I would play and I thought it was for a really good cause. I like doing charity events because I think it’s important to give back. I played baseball when I was younger but I haven’t played in a long time, so it should be fun. I hope Rachelle’s on my team. She’s the one with the wicked curve ball, right? I don’t know, I’m showing up with my old oiled glove and waiting to see where the coach puts me. I don’t even know who the coach is. I might be the coach for all I know. I think Carlisle should definitely be the coach. The difference is tomorrow there are no special effects, whatever speed we run and however we hit the ball is the real deal. We’re going to have no stunt doubles tomorrow.

RO: What did you think about doing a vampire movie?

PF: When I got a phone call from my agent asking if I wanted to do a vampire movie I didn’t want to do it, so I read the book in a day and I fell in love with it. I thought it was a great story. It’s like a throwback to the old Bella Lugosi movies where it had the mystery and seductiveness of the old stories. That is why I enjoyed vampire movies. Somewhere along the line they became horror zombie movies and so that’s what I thought when I first heard of it, but when I read it and realized that it wasn’t about that I said sign me up!
