Rachelle took the time to send out a tweet explaining why she decided not to attend the premiere last night -

As most of you are well aware Rachelle was replaced as Victoria by Bryce Dallas Howard this past summer for the Twilight Saga – Eclipse. From Rachelle’s interviews following the surprise move, Rachelle was shocked. You can read about it here.

It really is still a craptastic situation. As much as I would have LOVED to have seen her ROCK that red carpet last night (because you all know she would have, she is truly drop dead gorgeous). I completely understand why she did not attend, and support her decision. Even if Honey wasn’t sick, I don’ think she would went. You know as well as I do that the media would have jumped on her with questions about the replacement. Rachelle is a humble person, and wouldn’t want to take away from her other co-stars in New Moon.

Rachelle – we love you, and support you wholeheartedly.

The gorgeous Rachelle Lefevre (aka Victoria) is featured in the upcoming fashion section of Gotham Magazine.  She talks about her fashion style and her upcoming roles.

With long, curly red hair, porcelain skin and a loud, infectious laugh, actress Rachelle Lefevre is hard to overlook. But until she appeared as the bitchy bloodsucker Victoria in the 2008 smash hit Twilight, she’d been a relative unknown. Now with the hotly anticipated second film in the series, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, hitting theaters November 20 and two more films in the works, Lefevre is about to find herself in the glare of the spotlight.

“When I first got to LA, everybody said I was too ‘girl-next-door’ for edgier roles,” she says. “I ended up playing a stripper, an escort, a vampire and an off-her-rocker troubled poet. I keep playing roles that are not even close to the girl next door.”

 After being abruptly replaced in the movie The Twilight Saga: Eclipse in July, the 30 year old redhead beauty will indeed be attending the New Moonpremiere in Los Angeles on November 16th.

“She’ll be there, she worked so hard — she wouldn’t miss it for the world.” And there’s no tension between Rachelle and her former co-stars. “She’s looking forward to reuniting with her New Moon castmates.”

Apparently LeFevre’s contract included tickets to the premiere and she fully intends to use them, umm do you blame her?  I think it wouldn’t be the same without her, she is the original Victoria & one of my favorite actresses from The Twilight Saga & no matter what went down between Ms. LeFevre & Summit Entertainment, she deserves to be there.  Check out the full article over at Life & Style.

New series director Chris Weitz, however, gave Rosenberg permission to get away from Bella’s point of view a few times — most notably in a scene where we’ll get a glimpse of the evil vampire’s road trip. “I was able to explore what Victoria was up to,” Rosenberg revealed. “And at one point, we cut away to Victoria driving really fast in a car.”

When any of us are driving a long way, we might swing into a 7-Eleven and grab a Gatorade, some Flamin’ Hot Cheetos or a Slim Jim. Victoria, however, prefers human flesh.

“She took a snack with her,” laughed Rosenberg, making reference to Victoria’s latest victim. “And she’s reminiscing about her days with James. I loved writing that scene.”
