Someone call the fire brigade! Eonline.com is reporting that a fire alarm went off at The Dorchester hotel in London, on Wednesday. Luckily our beloved cast escaped unscathed.
A fire alarm went off Wednesday at The Dorchester hotel in central London, completely evacuating the premises where—surprise!—Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and New Moon director Chris Weitz were giving press interviews.
An eyewitness said the swanky hotel was completely cleared around lunchtime and that “everyone was out on the street” after the alarm sounded.
Everyone?
“There [Rob] was with his entourage, including Kristen,” said the source.
Now anything could have set off the alarm, but you have to wonder whether it could have had something to do with flushing the Twilight trio out into the open. We hope not.
In any case, a Dorchester receptionist told E! News it was a “minor incident.”
“It’s all under control now and was dealt with quickly,” she said.
Okay, which one of you Londoners pulled the alarm? Trying to get a glimpse of Taylor or Rob in their birthday suits? Not that I blame you lol. It’s nice to know that everyone is safe and sound.
Volturi New Moon cast Charlie Bewley, Cameron Bright and Jamie Campbell Bower are back in Italy for the Rome Film Festival. They were pictured sightseeing in the Italian capital and happily posed for pictures with fans.
Peter Facinelli was seen with his wife Jennie Garth at his daughters soccer game on Saturday. Both Peter and Jennie seemed to be having a blast as they watched the game from the sidelines with their other two daughters.
I love seeing Daddy C as such a family man….makes me want like him even more!

New Moon Volturi vampire Jamie Campbell-Bower aka Caius has been promoting New Moon at the Sitges Film Festival in Barcelona, Spain. He discussed his role playing Caius as well as his upcoming role in the new Harry Potter.
Jamie was interviewed by Que.es and there is rough translation of part of the interview:
Were you prepared to meet the massive amount of fans that follows Twilight?
I did not prepared for anything, I take it as it comes. In fact, I don’t consider myself as a celebrity thus I dont understand what is happening. Its an honor that people wants to take pictures of you and asks for your autograph, but I dont understand it at all.
Why do you think they chose you for the role (of Cauis)?
I worked hard on it. I did my audition very well and I gave them what they were looking for.
This song was written and performed by Mitch Hansen Band which is a Twilight inspired band. I’m going to take a shot in the dark here – but I think its obvious that they are Team Edward all the way.
Ok – now someone NEEDS to make a Jacob Black song dedicated to Edward Cullen! Whom ever makes it, or finds one first, send it in to me! LOL
And I will admit – I covered my mouth in shock through most of this song! LOL
New pictures of New Moon-er Billy Burke (aka Charlie Swan) at the Grauman Chinese Theatre in LA on August 10th. Billy is absolutely lovable, you can’t not love that guy! His protrayal of Charlie Swan is dead on (for me anyway!). What do you guys think? I can’t wait to see how he reacts in New Moon to Bella’s depression.
Ok, so maybe we were a bit harsh on Kristen Stewart earlier. Her ambivalent responses to New Moon queries during her Adventureland tour of Sundance seemed a bit off for the female lead in one of the year’s biggest blockbusters. She said that New Moon had turned into a “machine.” And then we read…..this:
[Camilla] Belle says that Robert Pattinson, who portrayed the sexy vampire lead in the hit film opened up to her about the stresses of required “media training.”
“My friend Rob, for that whole Twilight nonsense, the studio was having them take all these classes,” the 22-year-old actress tells Nylon magazine in its February issue. “It was the most frustrating thing in the world because they want you to speak like someone else, not yourself. It’s so silly. And I would be frustrated, too.”
Media Training? Wow. Studios should be aiming for transparency in this age of the web, not pushing stars to interact with the press like trained animals. In this light–that Summit is giving “media training” to at least one of the Twilight stars–Ms. Bella should be applauded for her honest opinion of how New Moon has gone so far. There’s also an interesting Reuters article from today that sheds some light on how to Kristen Stewart learned to deal with the spotlight–
Stewart is a child of Hollywood — the daughter of a stage manager and a script supervisor — and her Los Angeles upbringing provided a close up view of fame that has helped her handle the three-ring media circus of Hollywood celebrity.
“I grew up on a set,” she told Reuters at Sundance. “I don’t take it as seriously, and then at the same time I take it more seriously than anyone. It’s like a balance.”
