The Google Streetview car was making its rounds while New Moon was filming, Letters to Twilight has discovered.

The panoramic camera on the car captured these awesome shots of the set that was built for Bella’s house in Vancouver to replicate the original from Twilight.

For privacy, of course we can’t reveal the actual link to the Google Streetview, but these shots should give you a good taste!

The LA Times is featuring some jaw-droppingly beautiful pictures from the set of the New Moon that were taken when the film was shot up in Vancouver.

There’s a little something for everyone including Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black, Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen and Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan.

Then, we heard “Action!” The scene was shot in front of the house with Charlie’s police car parked adjacent to it. Next to the car were Charlie, Billy, Harry and Jacob (in his iconic long-haired wig). The four were huddled over the hood of the police car, looking intently at a map. It appeared that there was a small group of people wrapped in blankets behind them looking tired and worried. Charlie cannot stay still – he paced back and forth looking very worried and tired, as if he hadn’t slept in days. Suddenly, in the distance behind the house, a figure appears from the trees. And it’s holding something. The camera shifted to focus on the figure, and as our eyes adjusted we realize that it’s a shirtless Sam Uley holding Bella.

And it begins! Various Twilight Saga – Eclipse stars have started arriving in Vancouver. So far, we’ve only spotted a few Vampires. No humans or wolves as of yet.

UPDATE: Peter Facinelli is on the way, according to a recent Tweet: “Morning. Heading to Vancouver. Got 3 hrs of sleep last night. Hope I don’t fall asleep in rehearsals. Ahh.. I’ll sleep when I’m undead.”

After a few minutes, they change the angle of the camera and we see Jane — in the same scene — inflicting pain on Edward. Yes, she’s the cause and she does it with little gesturing and without speaking a word. A powerful vampire indeed.

The production has a lot to get through today, so the shot then changes to a close up on Bella who is being held by Alec stopping her from racing to Edward’s side.

“Please stop,” Stewart says, “Don’t hurt him.”

At first, during rehearsal as the camera operator sets up the shot, Stewart says the lines comically with deadpan effect causing some snickers from the crew. But when the take is ready for real, she says it with the expected dramatic resolve. The coverage also expands to find Alice Cullen (Ashley Greene) being allowed to race to Edward’s side. She gesture’s that he’s “OK.”

While Weitz talks to the actors on the set about the next shot, we take time to talk to newcomer Chrisopher Heyerdahl who plays Marcus, a member of the Volturi. The role is a huge break for the struggling British actor, but he seemed to be playing it cool. Intriguingly, he also revealed a flashback scene had been shot, including his character, Aro and Dr. Carlisle Cullen (“Nurse Jackie’s” Peter Facinelli) that set up the “truce” between the two parties way back in the 18th Century. To the other writers on the visit, this seemed to be a scene they didn’t expect would make the movie and were pretty psyched about it being included.
