Just Jared Jr. reports the crew had a dinner together last night, and the Rathbone spilled some news about filming–
Thursday night, the whole New Moon cast – including Kristen Stewart, Rachelle Lefevre and Robert Pattinson – headed to Gotham Steakhouse for dinner.
As as the cast was leaving, Jackson, 24, revealed to paparazzi that filming for New Moon will be starting earlier than anticipated. He shared, “[Rehearsals] They’re going great, they’re going great. We’re actually going to start filming on Monday, so be sure to check it out.”
YouTuber sunnykins has spotted some potential New Moon set activity, with a UVO–unidentified Volvo object–on the side of the road, and some folks painting a shed red–
I have heard from a good source that this property is being rented for the Twilight sequel New Moon….The only people on the set at the moment were set designers painting the shed/barn red. I live in a pretty small town or Port Coquitlam B.C and i’m pretty sure this will be used for the scene’s Jacob and Bella spend fixing up the dirt bikes comment, and pass it around, let me know how much you think they will be filming here? or if you think its going to be used for something else!!! xoxo Sunny
I have to say, I can definitely believe this is real–why else would such a large crew be painting a shed out in the country? And what exactly is that “rubber” UVO? [thanks, Miranda!]
I was really surprised by the amount of comments we received on the first set of New Moon Set pictures related to the cast smoking. The Examiner has an article on just that subject, saying–
Rob and Kristen have both been documented smoking before, and it has fans in an uproar. Some say “it’s gross,” and that the film stars, who know that a large part of their audience (for more on the demographics of Twilight fans see here) are teenagers, twenty-somethings and women generally.
Others say that, as they are all adults (for more information about the castmembers, see here), they have every right to make the choice whether or not to smoke, and that people should respect their rights to make that decision.
Though I know smoking is an awful habit, at the same time I think there is some difference between the cast smoking in (relative) private, being documented by paparazzi, and smoking during an interview when they are representing themselves professionally. What do you guys think? Here’s a poll–
It has begun: the first photos from the set of New Moon have shown up. Basically, so far the movie looks a bit like Mad Men–a whole lot of smoking in fabulous clothes. What are you waiting for? Check them out! [thanks, TwiCrack!]
