This was not a good movie!!! and i went to see it twice! The music was lame! It did not have that same spark as Twilight!! All the guys hair was out dated! This movie did not move me the way the first one did!!! Lets do better with the third movie, we waited too long for the second movie for it to be so disappointing!!!!!!

Brenda, clearly you did not understand the concept in the vampires having a more outdated look. The Cullens were all changed no later than 1920s and so their hair WOULD and SHOULD look outdated. Carlisle is supposed to be over 400 years old and Edward is 109. None of the Cullens are under the age of 90 and so Chris Weitz chose to have them look the part and to look darker. In Twilight they passed for much younger people and really did not look vampirish. Some felt that was not right as did Catherine Hardwick who stated that had she realized the popularity of the movie, she would definitely have taken more time on the Cullens and more time in the details of the movie, like Chris Weitz did. I thought the movie was quite good, however the make up was bad. I kept wanting to reach thru the screen ask Edward to blot his lips. Hopefully Eclipse is better as far as that goes.
So i do agree with you to some point, but commenting on the guys hair being out dated…just reaks of a bubble headed teenaged comment. Reread the books…the Cullens are an old family of vampires any REAL Twilight fan would know this and would THINK before they make such a stupid comment.

I wanted to make my voice heard about downloading NM illegally. My sister managed to do it and I yell at her for it all the time. I have a friend who bought a bootlegged copy from an idiot friend of hers and to me that is even worse. Personally people, if you want to see NM, go to the theater and pay for it. The rest of us who are smart, will take a chill pill and wait until NM makes it to DVD and buy it to watch over and over again.

Those of you who are begging to find out where you can get it illegally…get a life and realize you are getting a copy without the permission of those involved in making the movie and when real copies are bought, actors and those involved get a commission….think about it ladies…you are taking a copy of the movie without the precious Rpatz and Taylor and Kstew getting paid for it. All that hard work they did is for nothing no thanks to you.

I dont think they should change the name of the page because once the movie is able to be downloaded then they will have to change it again. You can clearly see that you cannot download the movie New Moon, but you can download the soundtrack and the score. People who say that they downloaded the movie illegally are just trying to get attention and probably didnt even download the movie. If you did buy or download the movie that is very disrespectful to the actors and all the other people who spent time on this and deserve the money they make. If the legal DVD copy of the movie doesn't have many sales because so many people have it illegally already, then they won't want to make another movie for the benefit of all their fans. The whole reason they make the movie is because the fans keep wanting more and if they don't think the movie is a success then they won't waste their time and money on making another movie.

And I'm just making my point on downloading new moon the movie illegally not soundtracks and stuff. But honestly that's what my mind jumped to when I read the “download new moon”. Cuz it's not released yet. And even if it was illegally downloading new moon it wouldn't say the “illegally” part.

AGAIN hopefully the third movie will be better than the first and second ones. Edward and the rest of the Cullens should NOT have had outdated hair considering that they were trying to fit in today's world. The director should have taken that into consideration before putting blownout wigs on some of the characters. It is acceptable for the Volturi's hair to be outdated because they do not come in contact with the outside world and do not mingle amungst the people and are not trying to fit in. I don't need you to patronize me as if I haven't read the books or as if I AM “a bubbleheaded” teenager. Your reply to my review of the movie was childish as far as name calling. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I clearly stated mine and am continuing to do so w/out calling anyone out of their name or making assumptions about anyones knowledge. I still stand behind my opinion and say that the movie was a bad attempt at a visualization and dramatization of the book. I feel as though it could have been better than what it was. New Moon did not have any memorable moments like Twilight did when Bella clung onto Edwards back as they grazed through the trees or when they had small intimate moments w/ just the two of them and their words were straight out of the book in that moment. It is understandable that a movie will differentiate from a book, but it still would have been better if some of the emotions were portrayed better. It is understandable that this movie is supposed to be about Bella getting close to Jacob however, I don't feel as though there was enough connection between the two in the movie as there was in the book. The movie made it seem like he was becoming just a good friend who happened to fall for her, but it didnt really show how Bella began to connect with him as well. People who have already read the books would probably beg to differ but that is only because we have already read the book and understand the points of the movie and do not need a visual reminder of it. However, when tellin a story one has to tell it as if no one knows who or what they are talking about.

If you think about it, why is it REALLY so bad to download New Moon illegally?
I mean, it's obvious that you're going to go buy it anyway for the 20 minutes of deleted material, so it's not really stealing anything.

Well, i do think that if all people'd just download it for free, no one would want to produce movie because it'd be like throwing money away.
What I want to do is, since at the moment I can't watch it in the cinema nor buy the dvd, I'm going to download it and then when the dvd comes out I'm going to buy it again; that's what i've done with twilight.
Guess that isn't wrong at all, I AM going to make them profit money from it (and I can also enjoy the movie til it comes out, when will tat be, anyway?)

Do you mean cuz it's out of theaters? Well then you should wait for when it comes out on DVD . . . that's probably the more respectful option. But it's your own life spend it how you want. Just in my opinion I think it's wrong to download movies illegally. Just my opinion. But I do think we're getting ripped off for the DVD. 30 bucks???!!! What the heck? Well it's probably cuz they know people will buy it . . . i certainly will lol. But summit is sucking the cash out of all of us! Honey, they are actors/actresses.. do you think they don't make enough money as it is.. I gotta put my two cents in here, since you all seem to be so big on respect. How about respecting OUR money? Huh? I'm sorry, I'm all for downloading a copy BEFORE I go see it in theatres. I'm tired of paying the 14 damn dollars to see a movie that I'm completely disappointed with. Which has happened numerous times in the last couple of years. So, I find the movie, which is usually poor quality, watch it, see if I'm interested, and if so, I go see it in theatres. No, throw your pathetic little temper-tantrums, scream, shout, pull your hair out, I don't give a rat's ass. But, I'd rather know BEFORE I waste the money, if it's a waste or not. Besides, with the price of gas, I spend twice the amount to get to the theatre that what I pay to get in. And the price of a damn drink in the theatre is an outrage. So, to all of you with the better than you state of mind, bite me. There is no reason to bash on us who are smart enough to find it online before it hit's dvd. I'd wager 50 bucks that half of you who say it's “disrespectful” have a sizeable collection of “illegally downloaded” movies. Just my opinion. Let's see how many “bubble-headed teenagers” rip on me!
