New pictures of New Moon-ers Christian Serratos, Edi Gathegi, Alex Meraz, Chaske Spencer, Bronson Pelletier,  and Kiowa Gordon at the Nordstrum in Canoga Park, CA.

They are currently in midst of the New Moon Cast Tour, and they look like they are all having a great time!

The nationwide kicked off last night and will run until November 19th. Fans will treated with performances by several bands featured on the New Moon soundtrack including Death Cab for Cutie, Anya Marina, Sea Wolf, and Band of Skulls.

The New Moon Cast’s next stop? Tonight (Friday, November 6) at the Hollywood & Highland Center Hot Topic Store in Los Angeles.

Who’s expected to be there? Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed, Jamie Campbell Bower, Alex, Kiowa, Ashley Greene, Elizabeth Reaser, and Chaske.

TwilightersAnonymous.com has a great comparison of Jacob Black’s wolf form from the 1st trailer to the latest one.  Wolfsbane writes:

Note the major differences besides the fur color change:

The eyes are more slanted, reminiscent of the wolf in ‘300′, and gives off a menacing stare.

The upper set of fangs are more pronounced and appear aged, giving an impression of past battles and well, a darn scary bite.

The fighting snarl created by the narrower snout also makes the wolf more intimidating.

All in all, I see welcome changes in the right direction. I’m pleased to see the Summit guys constantly tweaking this movie to make it better and not resting on their Twilight laurels. True, it has a lot more to live up to, but I can’t help but notice that Summit’s been much more active in listening to fan feedback and applying it to the movie in realtime. New Moon promises to be the true Fan’s Film that we are all hoping for it to be.

Jacob’s new wolf form is definitely more scarier and threatening…the eyes are just so much more mean.  You don’t mess with this wolf!!  RRRAAAWWWWRRRR!!!!   (I can’t wait to see what they have done to Paul!!!)

The New Moon musical score track listing has been unveiled, reported by Books on Film Examiner

The movie starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner and is based on the second novel of  Stephenie Meyer’s popular vampire series. The music is by Alexandre Desplat. We are on chapter 11 of our countdown that means 14 more days until the release of New Moon. (2 weeks & counting!)  Join us by reading a chapter a day together.  So in order to help pass the time while we wait for New Moon to be released, I will continue to post a thread everyday for each chapter in the book, counting down the days until the official release of the film on November 20th.

Chapter 11: Cult

“It was his expression that made him almost completely unrecognizable.  the open, friendly smile was gone like the hair, warmth in his eyes altered to a brooding resentment that was instantly disturbing.  There was a darkness in Jacob now.  Like my sun had imploded…”

Not too much happening in this chapter besides Stephenie Meyer making us go insane wondering what the hale is up with Jacob? (Of course we all know )

• Sam Uley annoys me as always, it is what it is
• Again with Billy’s behavior now he & Charlie are going at it
• Now the whole hallucination theory, after reading New Moon 3 times I finally saw the light & deduced that it was Bella’s subconscious playing tricks on her into thinking Edward was there in some ghost form or another, hale if I know.  But how would Bella’s mind tell her to allow Jacob to calm down if she didn’t already know what he was? Yes we know it’s bad news bears to get them upset, because then they may morph into a wolf, but she didn’t know that yet. Hmmm

Now back to Billy Black.  Had he handled the situation with Jacob differently, maybe things wouldn’t have blown up the way they had between him & Charlie.  It’s called damage control Mr. Black!  smh

Like I said not much really happening in this chapter, but it’s just enough to get my blood boiling and having the hairs on the backs of our necks stand straight up.  What are your feelings about this chapter?

Make-Up Artist Magazine will feature New Moon’s Dakota Fanning as Jane  on it’s cover of the November/December issue.  Writer Wendy Helfenbaum talks with make up artist Norma Hill-Patton on how to make vampires glow in New Moon.   This issue won’t be available on newsstands until November 11th, but you can pre-order your copy here!

Wow!  Dakota’s make-up looks fierce on the cover!  Oh, I know a few vamp ladies who would love to make Rob glow!!! :)  Rob would get touch ups constantly……Rob needs a little more red to his lips, let me work on that for another hour….Rob needs more shading around his V area, let me work on that too…..all night.   LOL!
