Ashley Greene revelead at the premiere of Push that there will be a yellow Porsche in New Moon and–wait for it–werewolves!
Good news for Twi-hards; judging by the tips “Twilight” stars Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz shared with Access Hollywood about “New Moon” on Thursday night, it sounds like the second installment in the series will remain faithful to Stephenie Meyer’s book.
“I can tell you there’s a yellow Porsche,” Ashley revealed at the premiere of Dakota Fanning’s “Push,” confirming that the vehicle, which played a special role in the “New Moon” book, will be in the movie.
“I can tell you there’s werewolves,” she added coyly. “I think [the details of ‘New Moon’ script are] kind of highly under wraps.”
As for the date the movie will begin filming–
“We start shooting in March in Vancouver and in Italy,” [Edi Gathegi] said.
MTV feels that all the Twilight castmembers showing up at the Dakota Fanning helmed Push premiere last night means she is probably in as Jane in New Moon:
We haven’t heard a peep from the “Twilight” cast on the rumors that Dakota Fanning is being considered to play Jane in “New Moon.” But, last night at Dakota’s “Push” premiere actions spoke louder than words.
Now, let me be clear that this doesn’t officially mean anything, but when almost the entire supporting cast of “Twilight” shows up to the premiere of “Push,” which stars a certain blond haired starlet, it has to mean something! Right?
At the very least, it displays solidarity in their preference that Dakota get the role over Lucy Hale. Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Rachelle LeFevre and Edi Gathegi were all in attendance last night in Los Angeles, and although they didn’t pose for photos with the “Push” star, they were all smiles and posed with each other
Entertainment tonight joins the Dakota-Fanning-as-Jane parade, noting that–
Dakota Fanning, Chris Evans and Djimon Hounsou walked the red carpet Thursday night for the big Hollywood premiere of their action-thriller, ‘Push,’ and tongues were also wagging over the possibility that Dakota may star in the ‘Twilight’ sequel, ‘New Moon.’
“It would be so neat if it worked out, I’m a really big fan,” Dakota says about being a part of ‘New Moon.’ “It’s probably too soon to say for sure, but it would be really cool.”
‘Twilight’ stars Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene tell ET they would really like to work with the young star.
“I hope she does ['New Moon'] she’s a brilliant actress,” Kellan says — Ashley adds: “Hopefully she will be involved in the second one. I think she’s an amazing little actress.”
Check out this hot new Amazon Exclusive Twilight Music Box! This is the first image that’s been released of it to my knowledge, and I think it looks pretty nice! It’s going for $19.99–not too shabby. Here’s the full details:
The jewelry box has a glossy black finish with dark blue velvet like lining. The Cullen crest spins in front of the mirror while the box plays the classical song “Claire de Lune“. This song is heard throughout the movie and when Bella and Edward started to dance. The top of the box has a picture of Edward and Bella with the Twilight logo. One side has Edward’s picture and the other side has a picture of Bella. The front of the box has the quote, “And so the Lion fell in love with the Lamb”. The box has ring holders and storage compartment for your Twilight jewelry. There is one drawer that slides out from the front. It measures 7 x 5 X 4 inches.
Twilight thin musical jewelry box with removable locket. With flip up lid and high quality from NECA
It’s available for pre-order now, and will be released on March 26th.
UPDATE: You know, I think the first part of the description that I quoted from Amazon might be incorrect–and refer to the $30 music box that was at Hot Topic:
It’s the end of the week! And you know what that means–Wolf Cub Friday! This week we have Mystique, a wolf-dog cub/pup that is so adorable, we might just melt.
Collider scored a heck of an interview with four, count ‘em, four of the New Moon cast last night at the premiere of Summit’s new film Push. Collider interviewed Edi Gathegi/Laurent, Rachel Lefevre/Victoria, Ashley Greene/Alice Cullen and Kellan Lutz/Emmett Cullen. They talked about the script, the mall tour, sugar addictions, Vancouver, Italy, ….the list goes on! Check out the three videos of the four:
And now for something completely different: besides New Moon, Robert Pattinson has another film coming out this year–he will be playing surrealist painter Salvador Dali in Little Ashes. Hmm….what do you think of his mustachioed look?

E! Online talks a bit about how the songs for the Twilight soundtrack were chosen–and the process for the New Moon soundtrack one. Basically, anything is up in the air to be included, and it could even turn out to be a bit more adventerous.
The songs for New Moon haven’t been nailed down yet—the flick is still in preproduction after all—but do I have some gossip on the movie anyway? You bet.
First, some background. When it comes to Twilight’s soundtrack, you may credit legendary music supervisor Alexandra Patsavas, who has also curated the music for TV shows The OC, Roswell, Chuck, Mad Men and Without a Trace. Patsavas is also on board to supervise the sound for New Moon. Now the gossip…
The new director, Chris Weitz, has been sending out signals that he may be open to a more experimental soundtrack than his predecessor. That could mean songs that sparkle even more than the movie’s vampires when they get caught in the sun.
“I think that might be the way it’s going,” says Marisa Baldi, West Coast partner for Zync, a music brokerage that funneled two songs onto the Twilight soundtrack. “I get the vibe that the guy is a little more into being surprised…everything is really open, and he wants to hear a lot of cool music.”
I’m all for a more experimental soundtrack–the Twilight soundtrack was great, but with the higher profile of New Moon it needn’t rely on big names, what matters is how it fits the mood of the movie. Speaking of the soundtrack, coming soon will be a huge new soundtrack poll, with a runoff between the winners of our free-for-all poll from last month. Plus, you might so a couple of suggestions for what we’d like to see on the soundtrack as well!
