For those of you who loved the New Moon soundtrack, or for those who like myself want to own every piece of twi memorabilia, here’s some good news.  The Twilight Saga:New Moon will have a soundtrack companion which includes a CD as well as a DVD.  Here are the details:

The story broke today that an official soundtrack companion would be making its way to the marketplace on March 16th, the same day of release for Twilight: The Graphic Novel, Volume 1 and just four days before the release of The Twilight Saga: New Moon, the DVD.

According to Tommy2, whose exclusive it was, the companion will come in the form of CD and DVD, and it’ll boast the following upon its tracklists:

2. The Magic Numbers – All I Believe In
3. APM Orchestra – Die Fledermaus – Duettino: Ach, ich darf nicht hin zu dir
4. Eskimo Joe – Thunderclap
5. BB Brunes – Cavalier Noir
6. No Way Out – Sed
7. Ximena Sarinana – Frente Al Mar
8. Jennifer Rostock – Es tut wieder weh
9. Anya Marina – Satellite Heart [Air Mail Remix]

DVD
1. Interview with Chris Weitz and Alex Pastavas
2. Interview with Death Cab For Cutie and Alex Patsavas
3. Death Cab For Cutie – Meet Me On The Equinox (music video)
4. Anya Marina – Satellite Heart (music video)
5. Lupe Fiasco – Solar Midnite (music video)
6. Hurricane Bells – Monsters (music video)

This has been confirmed, but the information does come with a caveat that the track listings on both are subject to change prior to the album’s release.

Note that the artwork for the album has also not been completed just yet. Very exciting, huh?

Exciting…Hale Yea!  Hopefully they change it and add ‘Possibility‘ on there.  I think companion is going to rock, but no word on the price yet.

Here’s an AWESOME fan encounter with one of our newmoonmovie.org readers at the New Moon premiere in Los Angeles last November! 

I just thought I’d share these photos with you, my name is Emma from Australia and I won a competition to the premiere of New Moon in LA back in November. I took my good friend Kathryn (who is also a huge Twilight fan) and we got to go to the after-party and managed to get some awesome pics with some of the cast. I couldn’t get over how lovely and down-to-earth they all were and very willing to have fan pics with us! Nikki Reid and Anna Kendrick were especially lovely, spending the time to talk to us and answer our questions (which I’m sure they have heard thousands of times before!).
 
We got to meet more of the cast in the actual movie theatre, including Robert Pattinson *swoon* who was just as gorgeous in person as he looks on camera. It was honesty the best night of my life and it still feels like a dream but I’m so glad I got the opportunity and also got to meet so many other Twilight fans that will be friends for life.

Congratulations Emma!!  Lucky lady! That is amazing.  Great pictures!  I just love our Twilight cast.

The Twilight cast birthdays are in full effect in January! Charlie Bewley aka Demetri and Cameron Bright aka Alec  who play Volturi guards in The Twilight Saga: New Moon, both celebrated birthdays this week. 

Charlie celebrated his birthday on January 25th all the while claiming he is a whopping 14 years old.  While Cameron celebrated his 17th birthday yesterday January 26th.  Happy belated birthday guys!

Last fall Summit Entertainment, home of  The Twilight Saga announced that they would be distributing Twilight In Forks: The Saga Of The Real Town alongside the New Moon DVD in 2010.  Well 2010 is here and the New Moon DVD release is right around the corner.  The Twilight In Forks DVD documents life in Forks, Washington.  Restaurants, businesses, the people of Forks, including a woman who indeed lives her life as Alice Cullen(and amazingly favors Alice a bit too much for my liking, Cullen crest and all)  Here are some of the details and what to expect.

The DVD for this documentary will be released the same day as the New Moon DVD, March 20th, and its official description is as follows:

The definitive DVD documenting the town of Forks made famous by the Twilight books and movies. This is a fan’s opportunity to see the town that Stephenie Meyer based her epic teen romance books on. Hear from the real people living their lives in the town fans know and love, including the Chief of Police, the Forks Outfitters’ employee who gets mistaken for Bella, and the vampire transplant who plays the real-life role of Alice. Visit Forks High School, hear self-described Jacob’s grandfather tell the legend of how the Quileutes descended from wolves, and see many more of the people and places that make Forks and La Push the perfect setting for The Twilight Saga.

Didn’t that ‘Alice’ lady freak you out?  Gotta love her though, I mean it’s Alice!     All I know is since joining this site, I’ve spent so much cashola on Twi stuff, now excuse me while I go and pre-order my copy lol.  Twilight In Forks is now available for ore-order via Amazon.
