Lyrics sound good, but please people... no beyonce, no jo bros, no demi, no kelly clarkson... no super duper mainstream people. This is a dark movie, as the soundtrack should be as well. I bought 'Only By The Night' just after I started reading New Moon and have always linked the two in my head, I've thought this for a while actually! Where would you have them play it?

When I first heard Closer, before I knew about the vampire connection and before I saw the mvids on Youtube, I was saying how this song would be perfect for B/E.

I also like the idea of Anywhere by Evanescence. It's one of those songs that will work well in the love triangle betwixt Edward/Bella/Jacob. Both Jacob and Edward feel this way about Bella. And we all know Bella feels this way about Edward.

I just purchased the New Moon Soundtrack and I have to say I only like 2 songs. The whole CD is depressing. The age group of Twilight fans is 13 to 30. I am 33 years old, and after asking a 15 year old we both agree, you guys went way off the mark as to what we like in music. Stephanie Meyer's playlist is current, fresh, and also what twilight fans are listening to, not Indie rock. my 7 yr old and 9 yr old were complaining the music from the soundtrack was putting them to sleep.

for one, that was already in a movie soundtrack: for the punisher. however, there are several evanescence songs that fit beautifully with the entire series.

someone on here mentioned "breath" by breaking benjamin; it's on my playlist that i listened to while reading the books. i immediately thought it was perfect for new moon after reading/hearing simotaniously.

also, while i think that the soundtrack should fit more towards the muse, radiohead, paramore, linkin park type of music (def no jonas bros, taylor swift, etc! bleh!), there is a kelly clarkson song that i always thought was perfect for how bella feels about edward/her hearing his voice: it's called "addicted". i won't post the entire lyrics, but it does fit quite well. one line: "i'm hooked on you, i need a fix, i can't take it, just one more hit, i promise, i can do it, i'll handle it, quit it, just one more time, then that's it, just a little bit more to get me thru this." fits perfectly with how she keeps needing to hear his voice.

I don't think that song would be good for New Moon. No offense, but Demi Lovato, Jonas Brothers, and all the disney people's songs won't fit in the movie. They're so happy and light and New Moon is kinda dark. The music should be at least. That's how the book is.

Because no one wants EPIC songs on a stupid ass soundtrack for a movie like this. If anything from APC gets on one of those soundtracks, it will be the end of everything. "Twilight fans" everywhere will claim to be APC fans, when really, they will never come close to fully appreciating what has been around for many many years already. The song is about heroin anyways. APC is too good to be put on such a stupid soundtrack.

Hi..!I listened to the song need and I totally agree..!the song is very suitable for the movie for it captured what was Bella really feeling when edward left her..I hope it will be included..

yeh i absolutely agree, Lots of times when i think about new moon this songs pops into my head. I think shes an amazing singer and should deffinitely be on the soundtrack!!
