Malicious Mandy has yet another awesome summary of a Q & A session during the Seattle Twilight Convention. This time it is with New Moon-ers Charlie Bewley and Daniel Cudmore -
Wolf Pack vs Cullen’s – Dan would rather be Wolf Pack, run shirtless through the forests. Vampires wear running shoes and he jokes about pumping them up “pump pump pump – oops too much swoosh” (old school pump shoes for those of you lost)
They say as Volturi they are just doing what vampires do, drink blood…. not like the “Vegan-Facinelli-Rubbish” He wouldn’t want to go hunt deer in Italian gear… unless it was Nike Tracksuits, like a Volturi mafia.
Eclipse Fight Scene was approximately 5 days rehearsing and 5 days filming 12 hour days.
Daniel would like Edward’s Hair, he pokes fun of his hair and points to the banner. He and Charlie banter about hair.
Daniel would love to be any character that meant he could work with Will Ferrell, though he thinks it would be hard because he would just laugh the whole time. Charlie would love to play a character that was really deep and emotional… or a spin-off about Demetri.
Daniel wears contacts already so the Volturi ones weren’t too much trouble, he hates contacts as a whole but wears them everyday. Charlie felt he was instantly dangerous with them on, just like sweet innocent Dakota Fanning.
Audition process was very fast. Charlie had tried for Marcus also. Daniel had recently lost out to a few roles and had actually auditioned for the “motorcycle guy Bella rides with in Port Angeles” and didn’t even know if he could make it back for the call-back because of a job he was doing but managed to go in thinking he’d be a biker and was actually cast as a vampire and thought “wait – what?” cool!
Charlie said it was flattering that the Cullen’s wanted to kill him more than any other Volturi and he also discussed how when he auditioned he had almost no hair so he took one little piece and swirled it down, like the old school vampires had the “peak” and he thinks that may have influenced his hair style for the movie. Personally, I adored the hair he was sporting at TwiCon. Rawr.
For open questions in the end they walked around the crowd. Charlie also acted as Demetri and pretend choked Hillywood Alice. Daniel spoke at the podium for fun and they lounged on the stage.

Blog Talk Radio has a new interview with New Moon-er Daniel Cudmore (aka Felix, once again .. NOT the cat!!! LOL inside joke).
In the interview they discuss the film industry, and how doing stunt-work and the Canadian film scene has really helped his career in pursuing larger roles.
Here is a brief quote from the interview via the Twilight Examiner -
“It’s strange because sometimes … when you’re in the fishbowl looking out you can’t tell … I’m havin’ a lot of fun with it,” he said of being a part of the Twilight saga. He was brought to the Twilight saga, he said, with the intent – at first – of seeking a job. He read Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse back-to-back, he said, to do proper research before performing the part. He’s also read Breaking Dawn, and says “I’m excited for that.” His favorite book, he revealed, was New Moon because of the “introduction of all the characters.” Notably, Cudmore stated that he thinks the wolfpack are “cool” in the stories.
Our very own newmoonmovie.org ladies, xHelloKitty99x, *PB*TeamSoapInMileysMouth and CullenChick, were gracious enough to share their story of meeting some of the New Moon cast at the Fantasy Twi-Life Tour convention in Ft Lauderdale, Florida last Saturday.
We were lucky enough to meet Chaske Spencer, Tinsel Korey, Justin Chon, Daniel Cudmore, and Gil Birmingham, who were kind enough to do a Q&A session. Tyson Houseman didn’t do a Q&A but we did get to see him during the autograph session.
The actors were all absolutely amazing to the fans. Chaske is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. I let him know that all his fans adore him and that in my eyes no one else could’ve played Sam. (He gives the best hugs and called some of us “love”!) Tinsel and Justin were hilarious and very random. Daniel is extremely tall and very charming. Gil was one of the best parts of the convention! He can honestly make anyone love him. Someone asked him to describe to us what he would look like if he were to phase into a wolf and he said, “A wolf in a wheel chair”. We seriously had an unforgettable time. They all made us fall in love with them even more than we already were.

Naibe Reynoso for Reelz Channel interviewed the cast on the red carpet at the New Moon premiere Monday night in Los Angeles. Kellan Lutz (Emmett) didn’t take a date and pulled out two fans from the crowd to escort him! Lucky fans! Can you imagine?

New Moon heart throb Daniel Cudmore was interviewed recently by Twilight Parent Examiners where he talked about how he got into acting, doing his own stunts and revealed who he enjoyed throwing around more – Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) in X-Men or Robert Pattinson in New Moon.

How he got into dramatic arts…
I started drama in high school. I’ve always been hyperactive, so in 10th grade I got to do it in the proper class instead of math class,” he chuckled. “In Canada, schools aren’t as intense about sports.”
In high school it was more fun to do comedy, but lately more dramatic roles are coming my way.”
On being in an Oxi Clean commercial…
“I played a football player,” he laughed hesitantly, less than eager to spill his role. “There were a bunch of us football players in pink prom dresses rolling around in blueberry pies.”
Hunky Volutri vampire Daniel Cudmore (aka Felix) attended the Vancouver premiere of a new movie about global warming – The Age of Stupid.
Daniel signed a petition before the screening, The Vancouver sun reports:
Daniel Cudmore, 28, who plays the vampire Felix in the Twilight New Moon and Eclipse movies, hopes The Age of Stupid will open people’s eyes to climate change. “In Canada we’re behind the times and it’s alarming,” Cudmore said. “You need hard facts to shake people out of their coma.”
Cudmore, whose next movie, New Moon, comes out on Nov. 20, said young people have a particular role to play in speaking out about global warming.
“I think young people fear they won’t be heard, but that’s totally false. We’ve got a strong voice.”
I like a man who is passionate about the climate….Team Daniel/Felix fans should be proud their man is showing passion for what he believes in.
