Very good movie. I just watched it for the first time for my birthday in May. I couldn't stop watching it. Almost every night after I put my children to sleep. It made me fall in love with my husband more. It made me feel ALMOST 17 again. Although, I wouldn't want to be 17 and go through all the insecure moments and trials ever again.
GOD help you girls that are 17 because those are tough years when you have a new freedom. Just remember...

I love the Twilight Saga! I'm considered "young" to read the books but I think they're awesome! My friend, Madison started reading them and I was dying for a vampire novel since I had finished the House of Night Series so far and Twilight lovers, you might like the House of Night Series but be warned they aren't as great as the Twilight Saga books but they still are good! I have the movie Twilight and can't wait for the movie New Moon to come out! Anyway, bye for now!

i honestly didnt know that there was a book seri to da movie i saw the preview the week befor the movie came out and i just had to see it i saw it again and again and again to date ive seen the movie 24 times then i heard about the books and i swore i would read them cause i wanted to see all the movies first. i decided to get the first book and said that i would read the first one and then stop unto the next movie came out someone in the store told me ha ha good luck once u start you can stop. it took me 3 days to read the first 2 days for tha 2nd 3 for the third and 2 for the fourth i just finished the seires for the 4th time and am starting on my 5 time on book 2 i dont read book 1 so much because ive seen the movie so much but book 2 is my fav because i can realte to bella minus the whole wolf/vampire stuff i had someone leave me n i know how she felt took me 2 years to get over it well not over it cause i love him with all my heart still but i can function now unline bella he never came back he married the grl he left me for and they have a baby grl together but i still feel like my world is incomplete with out him... so new moon hits hom and i cant wait till the movie im dying to see it i just hope they dont stray too far from the book cause that will just kill it and i hope they put haunted my kelly clarkson on the soundtrack

Why does it matter when or why you read it? I'm a 38-year old mom and heard about it for the first time through the newspaper last summer, not being much of a reader for a while what with the kids keeping me busy. Am I less of a fan because I discovered it "late"? I'm thankful I found it when all the books were out so I didn't have to wait! And just glad it's gotten people reading. And I am a "true" fan, thank you.

I agree, I think it doesn't matter when you "discovered" the books. I'm also just thankful that it got my kids really interested in reading! I didn't read them until my daughter told me just how much she loves the books. Now, all of us girls at our house are "true" fans also. :)

I know what you mean. I'm 39 years old, and I just read the books about six weeks ago. It was nice to have all the books to read at one time. I was hooked though. I can't wait for New Moon, but I think Breaking Dawn will be the best. It was my favorite of the books.

I have to agree! I did not pick up the Saga and begin reading it until Feb, but I am still a "true" fan! It doens't matter when you read the Saga to become a "true" fan, just that you read them. I'm personally happy that the Twilight Saga has made so many students start reading. It's a wonderful story of finding your true love that people of all ages can enjoy!

k it doesnt matter who picked it up, and the reason they did. Just flat out, that its a wonderful series. I never heard of it before, and then i saw a movie poster. i never knew what it was or what the story was about. it was just a shadowy poster of bella and edward that says if you can live forever, what would you live for? the movie wasnt even out yet. so i thought was interesting and looked it up the next day. turns out it was based on a book. so i picked up the book and fell in love with it.read the entire series before the movie came out Im a huge fan of it. i went to the first showing of it in our town. but that doesnt mean anyone that went after me is less of a fan. and you know what, there had to be some type of promotion or publicity of the book for you to even know it existed. i highly doubt you were walking by in a book store or in a library and saw it on a random shelf. And do you think that if you are a bigger fan or "true" fan, that you'll get to meet the cast or something? hahahahahhahaha, thats funnny

I agree. Robert Pattinson is a pretty good actor, but not quite what was explained in the book, but still a good pick visually. Kristen Stewart (appearance wise) was a good pick, in my opinion. Taylor Launter was alright.....not quite what i thought Jacob Black, but he was fine.

Im still reading new moon and found out there replacing (ROB) im pissed I know they need to find two guys to play the role as jacob's friends but come on dont u think robert pattinson was a perfect fit ..Dont replace him that just sucks .....Then maybe just maybe all the people who went to see twilight wont go cause they love rob ... i dont just love him even though he is cute and sweet i also love the books and hope ot finish all of them .-----------
